Marilyn Nunnelley, 63

Marilyn Nunnelley

    Marilyn Nunnelley, age 63, of John Rawlins Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
    She was born November 27, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was the daughter of Norma Marksberry Meirose and the late Joseph Meirose. She was a former secretary with the Estill Farm Service and had lived in Estill County for the past 24 years.
    Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, James Michael Nunnelley; one daughter, Renee Tiemeyer (Tim), Powell County; one brother, Butch Meirose, Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren: Jessica Nunnelley (Sandra Fields) and Lynn Tipton (Gary); and two great grandchildren: MahKaylyn Nunnelley and Krista Fields.
    Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22nd at the Salem Baptist Church.
    Arrangements are entrusted to Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.

Kimberly Ann Gordon

    Kimberly Ann Gordon, age 23, of Richmond, Kentucky, and a former native of Irvine, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.
    Kim was born September 8, 1990 and grew up in Irvine where she graduated from Estill County High School. She was the daughter of Doug and Teresa Gordon of Estill County.
    Kim was engaged to the love of her life, Ametrius Carter, and they had an amazing three-month-old son, Jamarion Ray Carter. Kim was an active member of the Richmond Predestinarian Baptist Church, where she was baptized and gave her life to the Lord several years ago.
    She is survived by her fiancé, Ametrius Carter; her son, Jamarion Ray Carter; her father, Ray Douglas Gordon; and her mother, Teresa Gordon. Also surviving are her grandmother, Emma Mitchell; and three uncles: Terry Bradshaw, Dontay Mitchell and Kenny Mitchell.
    Kim was also survived by four brothers: Cory Wade, Kevin Reed, Larry Walker and Chris Walker; ten sisters: Felicia Wilkerson-Carter (Charlesandre), Latanya West (Ben), Amanda Gordon, Chasidy Gordon, Jurika Wade, Angel Gordon, Kevina Gordon, Latee Gordon,Tilda Gordon, and Deffena Gordon; and nine nieces and nephews: Terresa Gordon, Tre-Von Sternagle, Deondre Tate, Tionna, Hallie Wilkerson, TayShawn Tate and Jayla West.
    Kim was preceded in death by a sister, Renee Morton.
    Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13th, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Richmond Predestinarian Baptist Church, 209 East Irvine Street.

Tandy Crawford Jr., 80

    Tandy Crawford Jr., age 80, widower of Betty Claunch Crawford passed away Monday, March 3, 2014.
    He was born July 26th, 1933, a son of the late Tandy and Beluah Gross Crawford. He was a heavy equipment operator and retired from Southeast Coal Company. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War.
    Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his son, Tandy Wayne Crawford; his sister, Shirley D. Crawford McCormick; and his grandson, Tandy Michael Estes.
    Survivors include his son, Charles Wallace and Jeanette Horn; three daughters: Alice Rosenberry (Johnny), Sharlon Whitley (Manuel), and Lois Allen; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8th at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Roberts Cemetery at South Irvine with military honors. Friends called anytime after 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 7th at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers were Jamie Sparks, Steven Sparks, David Rawlins, Buzzy Horn, Jordan Estes, and Tory Crawford.
    Honorary pallbearer was Mike Estes.
