Anna Faye Kelley, 56
Anna Faye Kelley, age 56, of Little Doe Creek Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, after a short illness.
She was born March 17, 1958 in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late Virgil and Crecy Arvin Isaacs. She was a former employee of the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County all of her life.
Mrs. Kelley is survived by her husband, Ricky Kelley; two daughters: Malina Poston, Irvine, and Tiffany Kelley, Richmond; two sons: Cody Isaacs and Jeremiah Crump, both of Irvine; three sisters, two brothers, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 4th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Carl Dennis Williams. Burial will be at the Marcum Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m., Wednesday, September 3rd at the funeral Home.

Jimmy Steven Jones, 46
Jimmy Steven Jones, age 46, of West Cedar Grove Road, in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born April 30, 1968 in Estill County, a son of the late Melvin Carl and Ruby Ray Dennis Jones. He was a former factory worker with Leggett and Platt and had lived in Estill County all of his life.
Mr. Jones is survived by one daughter, Rachel Michelle McCoy (Travis), Louisiana; one son, Steven Ray Rogers, Washington; four brothers: Charlie Owen Jones (Cyndi), Daniel David Jones, Robert Harold Jones, all of Irvine; and Kenneth Clay Jones, Madison County; several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 2nd at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Terry Barnes with burial to follow at the Campbell Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Monday, September 1st at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Stamper, Travis McCoy, Charlie Jones, David Adams, Steven Carl Jones and James Berryman.

James Ottie Mays, 83
James Ottie Mays, age 83, of Broadway in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, after a short illness.
He was born October 18, 1930 in Lee County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Edd and Alma Burns Mays. He was a retired CSX Railroad employee and attended the Ravenna Church of God. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion. He was also a Kentucky Colonel. He had lived in Estill County most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Beulah Spicer Mays; three daughters: Rhonda Boian (Tim), Regina West (Wayne) and Elizabeth Neal, all of Estill County; two sisters: Phyllis Swanger, California; and Norma Hamilton (Roger), Frankfort; one brother: Billy Mays (Jo Ann), Kingston; 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and by Beulah’s Children: Stacy Torres, London; Kimberly Mahoney, Lexington; Mark Riddell (Lisa), Estill County; and Melissa Neal & partner, Debbie Brown, Berea.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 29th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Willie Hargus Gordon. Burial was at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends called after 10:30 a.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Wayne West, Benjamin Neal, Christian Neal, Samuel Webb, Elijah Dawson and Mark Riddell.

Eva Claudette Click Moore, age 75, of the North Madison Towers in Richmond, Kentucky, formerly of Irvine, passed away Tuesday, August 26th, at Baptist Health in Richmond, after a short illness.
She was a native of Estill County, a daughter of the late Luther and Susie Smyth Click. She was a retired employee of Uncle Charlie’s Meat Company.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Charles E. Moore; her sisters: Joyce Ashcraft, Carlene Winkle, Evon Metlock; her half-brother, Floyd Click; and her grandson, Cameron “CJ” Jacob Moore.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue Carol Olds (David); her sons: Eddie Moore and Joe Pat Moore; her sister, Sharon Stepp; her grandchildren: Austin Tyler Moore, Candace Michelle Moore, Sabrina Nicole Kelly, JoEllen Rene Norton, William Nicholas Olds, and Melanie Sue Olds; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no services planned.

Jo Ann Webb, age 56, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at her home. She was a native of Richmond, Kentucky, born February 2, 1958 to the late John M. and Eliza Isaacs Webb. Ms. Webb was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith, she was a very giving and happy person and loved her five grandsons immensely.
She is survived by her children: Mike Cook of Berea, Billy Powell of Irvine, Elizabeth Ann Cook of Berea, and Deborah Welborn of Palm Coast, Florida. She is also survived by her siblings: Robert Webb of Florida, Clifton Webb of Red Lick, Loretta Webb of Berea, and Teresa Estes of Franklin, Ohio. Also surviving are her five grandsons: Austin Powell, Tyler Cates, Blake Marcum, Alec Cook and Ashton Lee. Three special friends also survive, Donna Zehr, Ben Porter and Franklin Young.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carolyn Ann Webb.
Funeral Services for Ms. Webb were at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30th at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Vester Alexander officiating. Burial followed in the Webb Cemetery on Red Lick. Visitation was from 10:00 a.m. until service time, Saturday, at the funeral home.

Louise G. Gumm Boswell, age 72, of Maysville, Georgia; died Monday, August 25, 2014 at her residence.
She was born October 27, 1941, in Irvine, Kentucky, to the late Donald C. and Loraine McIntosh Gumm. She was a member of Lighthouse Holiness Church and was retired from the State of Georgia as an RN.
Mrs. Boswell is survived by her husband, Journey Boswell of Maysville; two children, Melinda Boswell and Roger Boswell, both of Maysville; one brother, Donald Gumm of Waco, Kentucky; three sisters: Jackie Farmer, Juanita Estes and Wanda McIntosh, all of Irvine; five grandchildren: Thomas Parks, Todd Parks, Roger Boswell II, Aubrey Boswell and Kayla Boswell; three great grandchildren: Landry Tolbert, Everleigh Parks and Brentley Parks.
Memorial services were held at 4 p.m., Thursday, August 28th at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home, 115 State Street, Commerce, Georgia; with Rev. Winfred Bingham officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home, Thursday, from 2-4 p.m.

DyAnn Cole Foster, 52
DyAnn Cole Foster, age 52, of Riverdale Road, Mocksville, North Carolina, formerly of Irvine, died Sunday, August 24, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Owsley County, Kentucky, on March 21, 1962, she was the daughter of Chester Cole Jr., and the late Helen Marie Roberts Cole. DyAnn attended Woodleaf Baptist Church.
DyAnn had quite a list of accomplishments. She was a graduate of Lee’s College in Jackson, Kentucky, and also Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky, with a major in K-12 education and a minor in history. In college, she received the home economics award, was on the yearbook staff and received the second highest award for leadership. She was a freshman representative and served terms as secretary/treasurer and also president of the Circle K Club. She was elected vice-president of the student government association, voted shyest classmate graduating, and voted homecoming queen in 1981. She taught in the public school system and also drove a tractor trailer from coast to coast for nine years. On June 25, 2010, she married Michael Dean Foster, who preceded her in death in on April 11, 2014.
In addition to her father, DyAnn is survived by one sister, Eugenia Brandenburg (L.C. Daniels); three brothers: Lloyd Dee Cole, Marvin Dennis Cole (Sarah), and Dennis Joe Cole (Debbie); a step-brother, Larry Reece (Dolores), all of Kentucky; a step-daughter, Haley Foster; step-grandson, Zakk Wilson; both of North Carolina; two special nieces, DyAnna and Brenda Brandenburg, both of Kentucky; several other nieces and nephews; and two best friends: her mother-in-law, Freida Foster of Mocksville, and a sister-in-law, Paula Trexler (Scott) of Salisbury, North Carolina.
Two services were planned. On Thursday, August 28th, a Celebration of Life Service was conducted at 4:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 80 Talbert Church Road, Talbert, Kentucky, with Pastors Silas Hall and Paul Hall officiating. Visitation was at the church two hours prior to the service.
A second Celebration of Life Service was then held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30th at Davie Funeral Service Chapel, 416 Valley Road, Mocksville, North Carolina; with Pastor Chris Williams officiating. Visitation was at the funeral chapel two hours prior to the service. Interment followed in Legion Memorial Park in Cooleemee.

Ralph E. Morgan, 92
A graveside service will be held for Ralph E. Morgan at Noon on Saturday, September 6, 2014, at the Puckett Cemetery on Dry Branch Spur (off Dry Branch Road).
Morgan, age 92, widower of Jean Marie Adams Morgan, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
He was a native of Estill County, born May 21, 1921, a son of the late John and Ethel Woodford Morgan. Mr. Morgan was retired from IBM, operated Morgan’s restaurant for ten years, was a used car salesman for Rob Robinson in Irvine and Mitch Tate in Richmond. He was a member of American Legion Post 79, VFW Post 8019, and Shriners in Lexington. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving in World War II. He also attended Irvine Christian Church in his younger years.
Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Sue Morgan Henry; a grandson, Marvin Edgar Stephen Henry; a brother, Paul Morgan; a nephew, John Russell Morgan; and a sister, Dorothy Gold.
Survivors include his son, Larry Stephen Morgan; his grandson, Craig Stephen Morgan, his great grandson, Dakota Stephen Morgan; his great granddaughter, Lydia Kaye Morgan; his special cousins Joyce Land and Donna and Kelly; several nieces and nephews, and his son-in-law, Greg Henry.
Ralph wanted to be cremated and his ashes buried beside his wife. His burial will take place on Saturday, September 6th, following a graveside service with military rites beginning as 12:00 noon at the Puckett Cemetery on Dry Branch Spur.
