Mattie Frances Winkler Riddell, 80
Mattie Frances Winkler Riddell, age 80, of Sub Station Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was born January 20, 1933 in Estill County and was a daughter of the late Alvin Winkler and Dorothy Johnson Winkler Collins. She was retired from the American Christmas Tree Factory and had lived in Estill County all of her life. She attended Stacy Lane Community Church of God.
Mattie Riddell was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Riddell.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Arvin, Waco, Kentucky; three sons: Larry T. Riddell, Madison County, Samuel D. Riddell and Steve Austin Riddell, both of Estill County; two sisters: Gladys Keen and Thelma Stamper, both of Estill County; four brothers: Willy Ray Winkler, Roy Jr. Winkler, Raymond Darrell Winkler, and Forest Hume Winkler, all of Estill County; ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters: Nancy Carolyn Willis and Fannie Jestine Walton; one sister, Eula Mae Winkler; and two brothers: Harold Winkler and Gene Austin Winkler.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21st at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home chapel by Bro. Jason Riddell. Burial will follow in West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 20th at the funeral home.

Charlie Wesley Fouch Sr., 55
Charlie Wesley Fouch Sr., age 55 of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his residence.
He was a former truck driver, born June 18, 1958.
He is survived by his parents, Logan and Maggie Hall Fouch of Clay City; one son, Charlie Wesley Fouch Jr. (Ceceilia) of Clay City; one daughter, Holly Mullins (Broc) of Stanton; two grandchildren; two brothers, Alan Fouch of Clay City, and Herman Fouch of Lexington; and two sisters: Marie Dixon of Irvine, and Marlene Wren of Clay City.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 17th at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel, 201 7th Avenue, Clay City. Visitation was 5-8 p.m., Friday, August 16th at the funeral home.

Marie West Jenkins, 83
Marie West Jenkins, age 83, of Coal Wash Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was born November 15, 1929 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Tolbert and Mary Moreland West. She was a homemaker and a member of the Irvine First Church of the Nazarene. She had lived in Estill County all of her life.
Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Edwin Davis and Jack William Jenkins.
She is survived by one son, Larry Davis (Regina), Irvine; one sister, Sally Howard, Richmond; one brother, Dale West, Estill County; and two grandchildren: Nicole Davis and Braden Davis (Laura).
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Patsy Gilliam, Peggy Elliott and Myrtle Richardson; and two brothers: Tracy West and Charlie West Sr.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 16th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Curt Napier. Burial was at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Randy Ballard, Ricky Prewitt, Trent Singleton, Bill Singleton, Donald Richardson Glen Richardson, Jeffery West and William West.

William Ralph Patrick, age 68
William Ralph Patrick, age 68, of Cobb Hill Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, after a long illness.
He was born January 24, 1945 in Estill County and was the son of the late John and Hazel Hall Patrick. He was a retired employee of Lexington Service and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Louella Pendergest Patrick; one daughter, Robin Nicole Alexander (Randy), Madison County; one son, William Ralph Patrick Jr. (Kayla), Estill County; six sisters: Leona Abney (Gene), Leora Rogers, both of Estill County; Phyllis Johnson, Lee County; Ruth Fox (Tom), Madison County; Opal Covey (Tony), and Glenda Abney (Ernie) both of Estill County; five brothers: Walter Patrick (Sandy), Michigan; Elwood Patrick (Debbie), Mark Patrick (Sandy), Henry Patrick, all of Estill County; and Bob Oaks (Doris), Ohio; and two grandchildren: William Ralph Patrick III and Taylor Nicole Patrick.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Abney.
Graveside services were conducted by Bro. Donnie Watson at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, August 15th at the Cobb Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scott Lane, Jamie Richardson, Chris Hall, Kevin Young, Josh Spicer and Brennan Patrick
Arthur Spicer was an honorary pallbearer.

Harry Glenn Noland, 56
Harry Glenn Noland, age 56, of Winchester Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at his home following a long battle with cancer.
He was born on March 1, 1957 in Estill County and was the son of the late Ray and Beulah Henry Noland. He was a retired mason and attended the Ravenna Church of the Nazarene. He had lived in Estill County all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Woosley Noland; one son, Jay Rawlins, Irvine; three daughters: Melinda Mansfield (Steven), Irvine; Heather Rawlins, Louisville; and Angel Noland, Tennessee; four sisters: Sharon Tipton (Tracy), Pamula Noland, Donna Witt ( David), all of Irvine; and Deborah Hackworth (Jim), Richmond; his mother-in-law, Hallie Woosley; three brother-in-laws: Lewis Woosley (Janet), Joe Woosley (Rhonda), and Anthony Woosley (Fonda), all of Irvine; one sister-in-law, Judy Stone (Johnny), Irvine; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services were conducted Saturday, August 17th at 12:00 Noon at the Ravenna Church of the Nazarene by Rev. Rob Steinbrook.

Donald Ray Luster Jr., age 36, of Candlewood Drive in Berea, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013.
He was born August 25, 1976 in Richmond and was the son of Donald Ray Luster and the late Patsy Hardy Luster. He was a construction worker and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
He is survived by his father, Donald Ray Luster, Irvine; his grandmother, Elizabeth Hardy, Irvine; three daughters: Whitney Luster, Alyssa Luster, both of Corbin; and Katelyn Luster, Fort Myers, Floriday; two stepsons: Michael Brock and Estill Harris, both of Corbin; two sisters: Mary Hines (Tim Cline) and Tina Nix (Adrian), both of Berea; one brother, Tim Luster (Tonya), Irvine; his girlfriend: Christy Curtis and daughter Madison Webb, Berea; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose and Bro. Sidney Sparks Jr. Burial was at the Hardy Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Wednesday, August 14th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Bryan Hines, Brandon Crouch, Eric Thomas, T.J. Luster, Jeff Townsend and Tony Tipton.

Vina Mae Powell Woolery, age 75, passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond after a short illness.
She was born March, 20, 1938 in Estill County the daughter of the late Harvey and Effie Jane Webb Powell. She was a retired Southwestern Tobacco redryer and had lived in Estill County all of her life. She attended the Outreach Holiness Church.
Vina Woolery was preceded in death by her husband, Joe “Slim” Woolery Jr.
She is survived by two sisters: Geneva Berryman, Lexington; and Mildred Harris, Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Opal Means, Pauline Clowers and Martha Powell; and three brothers: Billy Carter Powell, Homer James Powell and Harvey Albert Powell.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, August 14th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose and Bro. Lloyd Harris, with burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends called after 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Tim Harris, Tim Clowers, Stan Means, Daryl Means, Paul Woolery and Bill Dietrich.

J.D. Keith, 70
J.D. Keith, age 70, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at his home after a short illness.
Mr. Keith was a native of Estill County, Kentucky, a son of the late Roscoe and Edith Holloway Keith. He was a retired trucker, working for Overbay Trucking. He was a jack of all trades; loved to garden, and took great delight in growing tomatoes.
Survivors include his daughters: Sherry Horn and Patricia Ann Keith; his son, James David Keith; his ex-wife and close friend, Shirley Keith; his brother, James Glenn Keith; his sister, Brenda Dockx; and his special friend, Anna Garner.
Services were held Monday, August 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 237 North 2nd Street, Richmond, with Bro. Gordon Sowers and Bro. James Demaray officiating. Burial followed in the South Irvine Cemetery. Friends called Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Serving as pallbearers were Danny Ray Cole, Beverly Horn Jr., Dylan Farthing, Steven Denny, Danny Webb, and Jacob Webb.

He was born September 18, 1957 in Estill County and was the son of Boyd White and the late Dollie Puckett White. He had lived in Estill County all of his life and is survived by his father, Boyd White; Estill County; two sons: Jonathan Glen White, Estill County; and Jesse White, Texas; and by one granddaughter.
Services will be private.

Elsie Alice Gamble Campbell, age 96, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at The Terrace in Berea, Kentucky.
She was born March 15, 1917 in Estill County, KY and was a daughter of the late Kendall and Klista Sloan Gamble. She was a homemaker and lived in Chicago most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Campbell.
She is survived by one daughter, Geraldine Schatz, Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Edna Burns; Richmond; and two brothers: Edward K. Gamble, Richmond; and Jerald Gamble, Covington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Thelma Cary and Margie Vaughn; and three brothers: Robert, Shiloh, and Martin Gamble.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 16th at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Irvine by Rev. Warren F. Toler.

James Raymond “Jim” Palmer, age 77, of 8th Street in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Baptist Health-Lexington following a short illness.
He was born August 14, 1935 in Estill County and was a son of the late Carlie Durbin and Nancy Abner Burgan. He was a retired merchant and had lived in Estill County all of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Estill County Golf Club, VFW and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Joetta Tyree Palmer; three sisters: Vendella Howell, Jolene Dixon, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Margaret Arvin, Estill County; two brothers: Joseph Butch Heving, Northern Kentucky; and Charles Wayne Durbin, Estill County. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carlene Wiseman.
Funeral services were conducted at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 10th at Friendship Baptist Church by Bro. Scott Rogers. Burial followed in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends called after 10:00 a.m., Saturday, until service time at the church.
Pallbearers were Aaron Morrison, Dylan Collett, Herbert Wiseman, Herbie Rogers, Verlon Prewitt, Jim Scott Howell, Loyd Allen Howell and Josh McIntosh.

Raymond J. Reichel Jr., 80
Raymond J. Reichel Jr., age 80, of Winchester, Kentucky, husband of Sonya Duff Reichel, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2013 at Thompson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore.
He was born in Mankato, Minnesota on September 5, 1932 to the late Raymond J. and Cecilia Miller Reichel. Mr. Reichel retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years and receiving a bronze star. He was also a retired Winchester Bank loan officer, retired president of Citizens Guaranty Bank and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Raymond Joseph Reichel III of Winchester; two grandsons, Steven Joseph Reichel and Jason Scott Reichel, both of Winchester; four sisters: Rosella Dallenbach and Adelinda Bachmeyer, both of Mankato, Minnesota; Loretta Saxon of Carson City, California; and Dorothy Klint of Webster, Wisconsin; two brothers, Roger Reichel and Jerry Reichel, both of Mankato, Minnesota; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Reichel was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Anderson and Darlene Schultz; one brother, Duane Reichel; and his parents.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 10th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester by Father Frank Brawner. Burial was in the Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 12:30 until service time on Saturday, at the church.
Family requests no flowers and that memorial contributions be sent to the charity of one's choice.
