Lucian Cox, age 88
Lucian Cox, age 88, of McKee Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013, at his home, following a short illness.
He was born May 27, 1925 in Jackson County and was the son of the late John and Carrie Messer Cox. He was the former owner of Lucian Cox Transfer and was a member of the First Church of God. He was also a member of the Rocky Mountain Horse Association and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Anna L. Arvin Cox; three sons: Larry D. Cox, Anthony Phillip Cox (Pam), and Sammy Cox (Richelle), all of Estill County; one sister, Opal Ross, Beattyville; one brother, Jack Cox, Lynn, Indiana; three grandchildren: Luciana Shana Cox, Samuel Lucas Cox and Joshua Phillip Cox; and three great grandchildren: Hunter Allen Cole, Alyssa Brianne Cox and Madison Lorraine Cole.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Myrl Arvin and Anna Lee Freeman; and three brothers: Leonard, Isaac and Jesse Cox.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 21st at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Leo Crowe. Burial will be at the South Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m., Wednesday, November 20th at the funeral home.

Marvin Rush Hereford, age 81, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013.
He was born in Wellington, Virginia, on October 13, 1933, the son of the late Jack and Lolitte Jeffers Hereford. He was the widower of Linden Mauck Hereford, a retired carpenter and had attended Red House Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie J. Pittman (Eugene), of Reedville, Virginia; one son, Marvin S. Hereford (Rebecca), of Irvine; two grandchildren, Russell Pittman (Jennifer) and Gayle Hereford; and one great granddaughter, Madelyn Pittman.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Thomas, William and Wade Hereford; and two sisters: Lolitte Mauck and Emma Walters.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 19th at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, 328 West Main Street in Richmond. Funeral services will be held in Culpepper, Virginia, with burial following in Linden Cemetery, Linden, Virginia.

Kimberly Ann Barnes, 45
Kimberly Ann Barnes, age 45, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky, after a short illness.
She was a native of Estill County, born December 2, 1967, a daughter of the late Chester Ray and Ima Lou Lanter Barnes Campbell. She was a 1987 graduate of Estill County High School.
Ms. Barnes was preceded in death by her brothers, Gregory and Jeffery Barnes; and her uncles: Dudley, Raymond and Tim Barnes; Lloyd and Boyd Lanter.
Survivors include her sister, Jennifer Lynn Barnes (Buddy); a very special niece, Brittany Lou-Ann Stevens; her step-dad, Ozzie Campbell; her companion, Henry Embs; her aunt, Jean Wiser of Reading, Ohio; an uncle, Ronald Lanter (Joyce) of Waco; and several cousins.
Services were held Monday, November 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home, with Randy Tate officiating. Burial followed in the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends called anytime after 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17th at the funeral home.

Robert P. Hoover, 94
Robert P. Hoover, age 94, widower of Bertha Hoover, passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Baptist Health in Richmond.
He was a native of Estill County, born September 12, 1919, a son of the late James Daniel and Lucinda Sparks Hoover. He was a United States Army veteran, a member of the 83rd Infantry, serving in World War II. He was a member of the South Irvine Baptist Church.
Mr. Hoover was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bertha, on February 15, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Armettia Glander; by his granddaughter, Ronda Hughes; and by his brothers: John, Banford, Stanley, Ezart, David, Virgil, Arthur, and Dennis.
Survivors include his sons: Bobby and wife Carolyn, and Arnold Gray and wife Donna; his daughter, Loretta and husband, James Walters; seven grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 19th at South Irvine Baptist Church with Bro. Donnie Burford officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call anytime after 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 18th at the Lewis Funeral Home.

Virginia Baker Reeder, 73
Virginia Baker Reeder, age 73, of Salvisa, Kentucky, wife of Charles R. Reeder, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her residence.
Born October 9, 1940 in Estill County, Kentucky, Virginia was the daughter of the late Sam and Kathaleen Dickerson Baker. She retired after 25 years as a press operator with Modine Manufacturing. She was a Baptist and she loved University of Kentucky basketball and collected basketball cards.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are, one son, Samuel Taylor Smith of Lexington; six daughters: Terry (Glenn) Webb of Louisville, Ramona Darlene (Steve) Williams of Danville, Kimberly Elizabeth Smith of Lawrenceburg, Renee (Mark) Carper of Harrodsburg, Danetta G. (Jeff) Grubbs of Lawrenceburg and Julie Hizer of West Virginia, twelve grandchildren, two nephews: James Daniel Baker and Donald Leslie Baker; and one niece, Alice Baker.
Virginia is preceded in death by three brothers: Leslie Dickerson, Donley Baker and Danny Baker; and one great nephew, Tyler Baker.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14th at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home, 308 East Lexington Street in Harrodsburg with Chaplain Darrell H. Hahn officiating. A graveside service was held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Cobb Hill Cemetery in Estill County with Glenn Webb, Adrian Dickerson, Steve Williams, Mark Carper, Jack Reeder and James Daniel Baker serving as pallbearers.
Darrell Dickerson, Jeff Walton and Carl Lloyd Dickerson served as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation was 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 13th and after 7:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14th at the funeral home.

Roy C. Puckett, 78
Roy C. Puckett, age 78, of Cow Creek, Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013, at his home.
He was a native of Estill County, born September 11, 1935, a son of the late Ruford Puckett Sr. and the late Betty Ballard Puckett. Mr. Puckett was an avid outdoorsman, loved to hunt mushrooms and ginseng, hunt and fish. He had been involved in the oilfields in Estill County for many years. He retired from the Dayton Walters Company.
Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his son, Michael Puckett, and his brother, Ruford Puckett Jr.
Survivors include his son, Tony Puckett; his former wife and good friend, Edyth Puckett; his sister-in-law, Cathalene Puckett; his nephew, Barry Puckett (Lynda); his niece, Shurla Cooper (Raymond); his great nieces: Kristie Turner (Matt) and Lindsey Cooper; and his great, great nephew, Aaron Reid Turner.
Services were held Sunday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Gordon officiating. Burial followed in the Oakdale Cemetery. Friends called anytime after 11:00 a.m. until service time, Sunday, at the funeral home.

Lillian Beckler Alcorn, age 92, widow of William Alcorn, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was a native of Estill County, born July 12, 1921, a daughter of the late Achilles and Ella Tipton Beckler. Mrs. Alcorn was a member of the South Irvine Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Elmer, Earl, Carl and Achilles Beckler Jr.; and her sisters: Beatrice Faulkner, Mabel Willoughby, Gladys Ritchie, Addie Anderson, and Edith Alcorn.
Survivors include her son, Raymond Wayne “Fuzzy” Alcorn (Ernestine); her daughters: Shirley Carey and Janice Fletcher (Don); her grandchildren: Jimmy Jackson (Marsha), Keith Jackson (Tricia), Kevin Jackson (Leigh), Paul Fletcher, Ronnie Fletcher (Christie), Steve Fletcher (Anisha), Sean Alcorn (Kimberly), and Raya Lewis (Ben); her brother, Ernest Beckler (Marion); and special friend, Jewel Wagers.
Services were held Wednesday, November 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home with Bro. Glendon Mays and Bro. Butch Arvin officiating. Burial followed in the South Irvine Cemetery. Friends call after 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 5th at the funeral home.
Grandsons and nephew Scott Beckler served as pallbearers.

Verlon Crawford, age 89, of Winchester, Kentucky, formerly of Irvine, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013.
 He was a native of Cobb Hill Kentucky, born a son of the late Richard Hood Crawford and Sallie Abney Crawford. Mr. Crawford was a farmer and a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corp.
 Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by his grandchildren: Cassie Woods, Mary Evelyn Woods, and Katie Crawford; as well as two sisters, and seven brothers.
 Survivors include three daughters: Carol Randall, Sandra Kennedy (Marshall), and Leona McGuire (John); two sons: Ricky Crawford, and Ronald Crawford (Heather); his brother, Clyde Crawford; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
 Services were held Tuesday, November 5th at 1:00 p.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home with Rusty Wright officiating. Burial followed in the Moberly & Crawford Cemetery. Friends called after 10:30 a.m. until service time, Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Alma Lena Brewer, 87
Alma Lena Brewer, age 87, of Trenton, Ohio, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
She was born November 14, 1925 in Irvine, Kentucky, the daughter of Willie Cox and Rebecca (Crouse) Cox. Alma was the Jewelry Manager at Elder-Beerman, prior to her retirement. She was a long-time member of Yankee Road First Church of God. She liked gardening, quilting, and reading.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by her seven children: Gary Brewer (Teresa) of Middletown, Ohio; Phyllis Osborne of Franklin, Ohio; Darrell Brewer (JoAnna) of Goodsprings, Tennessee; Charles Brewer of Trenton, Ohio; Wallace Brewer (Karen) of Somerville, Ohio; Sandra Calhoun (Michael) of Troy, Ohio; and Willie Brewer of Trenton, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; three sisters: Elizabeth Hounshell of Jackson, Kentucky; Barbara Arvin of Irvine, Kentucky; and Audrey Chaney of Hamilton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Lee Brewer, in 2001; a son-in-law, Bo Osborne; four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14th at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, Ohio; with Reverend Kevin Collins officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, November 13th at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.

Robert Parker Comley, 92
Robert Parker Comley, age 92 years, Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013, at home.
Bob was born in Irvine, Kentucky on July 14, 1921, and was the son of the late Dr. H.J. and Sarah Parker Comley. He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Navy.
After relocating to Frankfort, Bob was a manager at Jerry''s Restaurant. He later owned and operated several restaurants in Frankfort including Eastwood Coffee Shop, Munch 'n Crunch and Chuckwagon. He was a member of Highland Christian Church having served as deacon and elder and was a member of the One Way Joy Class.
Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 70 years, Maxine Harding Comley. His children are: Judy Comley Rhodes, Maine; Robert H. Comley (Genie), Georgia; Jerry Comley (Mary Jo), Katherine Comley, Cindy Comley, Paul Comley (Barbara) and Pat Comley (Tammy). Grandchildren are Robert Rhodes (Becky), James Rhodes (Jenna), Kimberly Conterio (Josh), Rebecca Comley, Max Comley (Ashley), Eric Comley (Sara), Ashlye Comley, Kyle Comley, Parker Comley, Chris Comley and Katlyn Comley. He also had seven great grandchildren, Carys and Cailyn Rhodes, Addison Comley, Clara and Zoe Conterio and Cash and Lynnin Comley. His sister, Sarah Helen Comley, also survives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeny Parker Comley; a grandson, Robert Tyler Comley; and his brother, Dr. Bill Henry Comley.
The family gives special thanks to our caregiver, Georgia Bennett, for her patience and support.
Visitation was at Highland Christian Church, Versailles Road, Frankfort, on Monday, November 11th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral service was at the church, Tuesday, November 12th at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Scott Rollins officiating. Burial followed in Lexington Cemetery.
His grandsons served as pallbearers, and honorary bearers were his granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to Highland Christian Church, Franklin County Senior Citizens or Hospice of the Bluegrass, Frankfort Office.

Paul Douglas Brakefield, 54, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
Born May 8, 1959 in Jefferson County, a son of Beverly J. Scrivner Brakefield and the late Bolan Almon Brakefield, he lived most of his live in Estill County. Mr. Brakefield was a retired United States Air Force veteran and a realtor.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Brakefield; and his brother, Bolan Brakefield.
Survivors include his son, Jason Brakefield (Crystal); his daughter, Casey Brakefield; his brothers: William Brakefield, Kenny Brakefield (Alice), and Tom Brakefield (Margaret); his sister, Kathy Harrison; his stepmother, Della Ann Brakefield; his granddaughter, Adelynn Brakefield; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Samuel David Abney, age 47, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital.
Born December 24, 1965, he was a mechanic and a logger.
Mr. Abney is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Johnson Abney of Irvine; one son, Bryston Abney of Manchester; two daughters: Samantha and Stephanie Abney of Somerset; two grandchildren; two brothers, Jeff Abney of Lexington and James Abney of Irvine; and one sister, Patricia Abney of Irvine.
There was a private family service. Burial was in the Cobb Hill Cemetery.

Lola Gray, age 89, of Gettysburg, Ohio, formerly of Irvine, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Ohio Veterans Home.
He was a native of Estill County, born September 8, 1924, a son of the late Coleman and Lucy Caudill Gray. Mr. Gray had been a Pentecostal preacher and was a United States Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by five brothers; one sister, and a great grandchild Josh Hager.
Survivors include his three sons Rocky Gray, Jody Gray (Joyce E.) and Bobby Gray (Joyce A.); his daughter, Leota Newton; his sisters: Florence Covey and Jean Herman; his brothers: Albert and Daniel Gray; his 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 26 great, great grandchildren.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9th at the Lewis Funeral Home with James Spencer officiating. Burial followed in the Logue Cemetery. Friends called after 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 8th at the funeral home.

Nancye Louise Perdue Mayes, age 66, and wife of James T. Mayes, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her residence in Booneville, Kentucky.
Nancye was born in Beattyville, Lee County, Kentucky, on November 18, 1946, a daughter of the late Aaron and Addie Mae (Taylor) Perdue. She was a retired beautician and substitute teacher for the Owsley County School System; enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, reading, and was a member of the Booneville First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, one daughter; Tonya (Dwayne) Gibson of Booneville; one son, Greg (Oneida) Mayes of Irvine; two brothers: James Walter Perdue of Winchester and Larry Dale (Vickie) Perdue of Beattyville; one sister; Debra (Sam) Thorpe of Winchester; two brothers in law: Bob (Carolyn) Mayes and Steve (Cathy) Mayes, both of Booneville; four grandchildren: Macie Erin and John Walker Gibson, James Jackson and Eli Weston Mayes; along with many other loving family members and friends.
Nancye was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Kathleen Chaney and Phyllis Gravitt; and three brothers: Doug, Johnny, and Glen Perdue.
Funeral Services were held at the Booneville Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6th with Pastor Jerry Lacefield officiating. Visitation was held, 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 5th at the funeral home. Nancye was laid to rest in the Flanery-Quillen Cemetery located in the Pebworth Community of Owsley County.

Bessie Marie Johnson, age 79, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Baptist Health Richmond, after a short illness.
She was born April 29, 1934 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Dewey and Linda Isaacs Willis. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Thomas Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters: Linda Sue Wagers Bunch, Betty Brinegar (Kenneth) and Joyce Martin (Pat); one son, Billy Russell Wagers; four grandsons: Gene Alan Bunch Jr., Kenneth F. Brinegar Jr., Michael P. Martin and Stuart A. Martin; three great grandsons: Cody Bunch, Travis Bunch and Tucker Martin; six sisters: Effie Mae Johnson, Minda Rose (Donald), Lizzie Ann Rose (Finley), Lorene Rose, Florence Flynn, and Cornell Overbay; two brothers: Deward Willis (Alma) and Hympsel Willis (Catherine); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry C. Wagers; and her second husband, Farris Johnson; two brothers: Deffert Willis and Jennings Curtis Willis: and two sisters: Nellie Willis and Shelia Willis.

Jerry David Brandenburg, age 59, of Worrells Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013, at his farm, following an accident.
He was born August 1, 1954 in Richmond, Kentucky, and was the son of Jessie Mae Hardy Brandenburg and the late Clayton Brandenburg. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. He was also a retired National Guardsman with 21 years of service that included being called up for deployment during the Gulf War. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Providence Baptist Church. He had lived in Estill County all of his life.
Mr. Brandenburg is survived by his wife, Pamela Kay Covey Brandenburg; his mother, Jessie Mae Hardy Brandenburg, Irvine; two daughters: Candace Faith Brandenburg Tate (Michael), Richmond; and Bethany Brooke Brandenburg Mahmoud (Mohamed), Irvine; one son, Jeremy David Brandenburg (Patricia), Irvine; four sisters: Lena Brandenburg, Tennessee; Alverta Farris, Irvine; Teresa Hughes, Texas; and Rene Brandenburg, Ohio; one brother, Ronald Brandenburg, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Deondre Tate, Tionna Tate and Ciara Bishop (who was his world); and a host of friends and other relatives who loved him dearly.
Memorial services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 9th at the Providence Baptist Church by Bro. Bill VanWinkle and Bro. A.B. Patrick.

Callie Watson was born in Lee City, Kentucky, January 10, 1914, the daughter of Thomas Ratliff and Ada Ellen Salley Ratliff. She grew up in Jackson, but resided in Estill County for most of her life.
In 1941, she married Thomas A. Stokes, a train dispatcher for the L & N Railroad. They had two children: a son, Robert A. “Jiggs” Stokes (Amy) who lives in Golden, Colorado with their son, Robert Curtis; and a daughter, Sherry Stokes Kraus (Eugene J.), Rochester, New York.
Several years after the death of Thomas Stokes in 1958, Mrs. Watson married Claude J. Isaacs, a long-time Ravenna barber.
Several years after Mr. Isaacs’ death in 1978, she married James A. Watson, who died in 1984. Callie was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, but also had one of the longest careers as a cosmetic consultant for Luzier, Inc. in the company’s history. She began her career with Luzier in the late 1950’s and serviced her patrons until 2007.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her two children and her grandson; by her sisters: Faye Childers (Calvin) and Irene Randolph (Keith), both of Dayton, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her devoted son-in-law, Balus Marcum, who was married to her late stepdaughter, Hannah Watson Marcum; and by her step-grandchild, Gwen Marcum Riddell
and her family.
Callie Watson was predeceased by her sisters: Minnie Epperson of Birmingham, Alabama; Florella Hall of Dayton, Ohio; and Elsie Crabtree of Cincinnati; and by her brothers: Charles Ratliff, Arthur Ratliff, both of Bear Track, Kentucky; Tommy Ramous “Bud” Ratliff of Florida, Dorsey Ratliff and Exray Ratliff of Jackson.
Callie loved her family, her many friends, her home and her long career selling cosmetics. Ageless at “39 and holding,” Callie had an incredible enthusiasm for life. She could not bear to be idle and always had some wonderful project in the works, which, at various times, included learning the skills of needlepoint, hooking rugs, quilting, painting furniture and mixing concrete. She loved to cook, work in her yard, tend her beautiful flower gardens and keep an immaculate home. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 4th at Lewis Funeral Home with burial in the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation was after 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3rd at the funeral home.

Roy Lee Crisp, 70
Roy Lee Crisp, age 70, of Majestic Drive in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, after a long illness.
He was born April 29, 1943 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Shamel Crisp and Flossie Fraley Crisp Stevens. He had worked in construction and trucking and was co-owner of Dollar Deals in Irvine. He was a Kentucky Colonel and had lived in Estill County for the past 8 years.
He is survived by his loving companion, Shirley Hall Hicks; one son, Alan Lee Crisp (Lori), Racine, Ohio; and three grandchildren: Braxton, Brooke and Brianne Crisp.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanette Adkins; and one brother, Larry Crisp.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2nd at the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home, Highway 7 & 32 North in Sandy Hook, by Bro. Tony Herald. Burial was at Elliott County Memory Gardens. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Friday, November 1st at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home in Irvine, and from 10:00 a.m. to service time, Saturday, at the Waddell & Whitt Funeral Home.

Cleta Beatrice Rogers, age 45, Winchester Road, Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington.
She was born August 4, 1968 in Estill County to the late Robert Chester and Ora Lee Barnes Jones.
Survivors include two daughters: Cassey Jean Lee Tipton and Jessie Marie Tipton; six brothers: Chester Ray Jones, Joseph Allen Jones, George Carl Jones, Danny Jones, Anthony Jones, and Travis Jones; two sisters: Jessie May Jones and Lisa Marie Bailey; a grandson, Mathew Glenn Tipton; two nieces: Janevia Jones and Amanda Hernandez; a great niece, Oceanna Hernandez; and two great nephews: Jayden Bryce Hernandez and Bentley Rylan Cruz Hernandez.
Services were at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 1st at Davis & Davis Funeral Home, 777 W. College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation was after 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 30th at the funeral home.

Justin Lee Jennings, 33
Justin Lee Jennings, age 33, passed away in Irvine, Kentucky on Friday, October 25, 2013.
He was born July 4, 1980, in Madisonville (Hopkins County), Kentucky, the son of Fred and Virginia Ann "Jenny" Williams Jennings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Jennings; and by his mother, Jenny Ann Jennings, eight days earlier on Thursday, October 17, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Terril Sr. and Geneva Thomas Williams; an uncle, C.T. “Bimbo” Williams II; and an aunt, Ella Lee “Sissie” Williams Cyrus.
Mr. Jennings is survived by a sister, Jamie Cornn; a great nephew, Jamien Cornn; a great, great niece, Justice Cornn; an uncle, B.F. “Red” Williams Sr. (Linda) of Irvine; and others.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at Irvine First Christian Church on Saturday, November 16th for both Justin Lee Jennings and his mother, Virginia Ann "Jenny" Williams Jennings.
