Regina Lynn Adams Robinson, 51

Regina Lynn Adams Robinson, age 51, of Tipton Ridge Road in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Baptist Health Lexington Hospital following a short illness.
She was born March 29, 1967, in Estill County, a daughter of James and Eldora Wise Adams. She was a relationship banker with BB&T bank for 33 years and had lived in Estill County all her life. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church.
Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Todd Randall Robinson.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Zachary Todd Robinson, Ravenna; a sister, Rhonda Hardy (William), Irvine; her mother-in-law, Julia Tuggle Robinson; two nieces: Elizabeth Park Hardy and Ella Franklyn Hardy; one nephew, William Elliott Hardy; and several aunts and uncles.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her grandparents: Lenny and Bertha Adams, and George and Bessie Wise.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 18, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Carmel Christian Church by Bro. Mark Pearson with burial following in the Gray Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Tuesday, April 17th at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the church.
Pallbearers were Zachary Todd Robinson, William Elliott Hardy, William P. Hardy, Tommy Vincent, Michael Stallings and Brett Noland.
Honorary pallbearers were Donald McIntosh, Tracy Noland and Bud Tuggle.

Zackie Glenn Warner Sr., 64

Zackie Glenn Warner Sr., age 64, of Warner Lane in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, following a short illness.
He was born May 25, 1953 in Estill County and was the son of Mary Joyce Miller Warner and the late Harold E. Warner. He was a farmer and a member of the Bethel Christian Church. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two daughters: Peggy Sue Warner, Estill County; and Tabitha Marie Sparks, Georgetown; four sons: Zackie Glenn Warner Jr.,
Samuel Keith Warner,
Daniel Ross Warner, and Jason Matthew Warner, all of Estill County; two sisters: Pamela Warner and Ruby Johnson, both of Estill County; two brothers: Harold Wayne Warner and
Ronnie Warner (Charlene), both of Estill County; 11 grandchildren; and his loving companion, Carolyn Barnett, Clark County.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Puckett.
Private services will be held at a later date.

Etta Della McIntosh Woosley, age 83
Etta Della McIntosh Woosley, age 83, of Irvine, Kentucky was called home to our Lord on Friday, April 13, 2018, after a short illness.
Etta was born in Estill County to Simpson Greene and Florence McIntosh on February 16, 1935. She was the only girl amongst brothers Leroy, Greene, (late) Frank, and (late) Miles. She also had several half- and step-siblings.
She was retired from Carhartt after 28 years of service. She was a long-time member of the Kentucky Friends of Bluegrass Music, having served on the board for many years. Etta lived her life to the fullest through music, camping/festivals, friends and family, reading, and many other simple pleasures. She was a caring person and truly touched the lives of all that knew her.
She married the late Vetra Woosley on November 25, 1954.
Mrs. Woosley is survived by their five children: Linda Woolery (William), Mary Sheets (the late William), Fava Hoover, Randall Woosley, and Wallace Woosley. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren along with two grandchildren and five great grandchildren by marriage. Grandchildren include: Chris, Dennis (Kristen), Denise (Harry), Kelly, Bridgett, Josh (Melissa), Emily (James), Tyler, and Alex. Great grandchildren are Austin, Brittany, Paige, Megan, Caleb, Lucas, Makenzie, Reagan, Peyton, Olivia, and Aubrey. She also had a special fur baby, Sassy, the dog.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, April 20, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Lewis-Abner Home for Funerals.
Sallie Annette Bell, 62
Sallie Annette Bell, age 62, of Meadowlark Drive in Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at the Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center, following a short illness.
She was born December 11, 1955 in Wauchula, Florida and was the daughter of the late Norwood and Lalie Davis Durrance. She was a retired McDonald’s employee and had lived in Florida most of her life.
Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland Bell.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise Darcey, Estill County; and two sons: Dexter Bell, Estill County; and Dennis Bell, Florida; and several grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Clara Mae Rawlins Pitts, 88

Clara Mae Rawlins Pitts of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Harford Memorial Hospital. She was 88 years old. She was the devoted wife of the late Leonard E. Pitts.
Mrs. Pitts was born in Kentucky to the late Travis and Mamie "Henry" Rawlins. She was the beloved mother to: Leonard Pitts (Margaret), Edward Leon Pitts, Gary Pitts, and Larry Pitts (Theresa). She was the adoring grandmother to: Melissa Rogers, Edward Pitts, Jr., and Leighann M. Hewitt; and great grandmother to: Richard Meehan, Farren Hillard, Hailey Rogers, Jaden Hewitt and Chelsea Pitts. She was the great, great grandmother of Jerimiah Hillard, Jackson Hillard and Aubrey Grace Pitts. She was the sister to Linda King and Doris Adams; and was predeceased by seven siblings.
Mrs. Pitts enjoyed crocheting, quilting, walking and working with her hands. She loved to dance and enjoyed spending time with the Young at Heart Club.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, Maryland, where a service will be held at 12:00 Noon. Officiating will be Pastor Ron Tabor. Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.
Kenneth Joe Griffin, 48

Kenneth Joe Griffin, age 48, of Pineway Avenue in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital, following a massive heart attack.
He was born October 27, 1969 in Estill County and was the son of Judy Lynn Dozier Abney and the late Kenneth Griffin. He was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Geology and was a valued member of Abacus Engineering. He attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of the Grateful Dead Club. His great passion was hiking through the Red River Gorge with his buddy, Riley.
Mr. Griffin is survived by his mother, Judy Abney and best friend and step-father, Donald R. Abney; his aunts: Sandy Williams (Paul) and Libby Sipple (Harry); two nieces: Jessica and Hannah Abney; and special cousins: Mark Williams, Karen Dozier and Katie Sipple Williams.
He leaves behind his very special buddy, Riley, his dog.
Mr. Griffin was preceded in death by his step-brother, Donald G. Abney.
There was a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, April 14, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel.
Mary Frances Calmes, 89
Mary Frances Calmes, age 89, of Carhartt Avenue in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Irvine Health & Rehabilitation Center following a short illness.
She was born November 12, 1928 in Bourbon County and was the daughter of the late Charles and Mattie Frederick White. She was a retired Carhartt, Inc. employee and a member of the River Drive Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County most of her life.
Mrs. Calmes was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Calmes, Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda J. Talley (Everett), Richmond, Virginia; one son, Gerald Sageser, Harrison County; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Calmes was preceded in death by two sisters: Jo Patterson and Bobbie Stockard; and two brothers: Everett White and Chester Frederick White.
Funeral services was conducted Friday, April 13, 3:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Paul Groves. Burial was at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends called after 1:30 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Joseph Sageser, Everett Talley, Larry Stewart, Scott Jones, Tracy Adams and Gary Estes.
Dexter Goosey, 70
Dexter Goosey, age 70, of Bertha Court in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
He was born May 18, 1947 in Lee County and was the son of the late James and Rhoda Spencer Goosey. He was a retired Allen Company employee and attended the Pine Grove Pentecostal Assembly.
Mr. Goosey is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Flinchum Goosey; two daughters: Amy L. Rettburg (Darryl) and Vickie S. Spivey (Stephen), both of Irvine; three sisters: Betty S. Harrod, Frankfort; Lea Heagy, Dunedin, Florida; and Barbara Bicknell, Versailles; two brothers: Arvel Douglas Goosey and James Mosley, both of Beattyville; four grandchildren: Jeremiah Spivey, Alicia Arnold, Noah Rettburg and Kara Rettburg; and one great grandchild, Amelia Spivey.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Goosey and Lenny Mosley.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 15, 2:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Sidney Sparks, Jr. and Bro. Kevin Phillips. Burial was at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Saturday, April 14th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Richard Townsend, Anthony Tipton, Austin Tipton, Kevin Goosey, James Mosley and Andrew Reece.
Morlin “Oakie” Curtis, 64

Morlin “Oakie” Curtis, age 64, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Saint Joseph Hospital. He was retired from Rockwell.
He is survived by two daughters: Melanie Meadows (James) of Stanton and Jessica Curtis of Winchester; three grandchildren, two brothers: Danny Curtis (Jean) of Irvine and Dennis Curtis of Stanton.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Lowell Douglas Flanary, age 74, of Shelton Lane in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 9, 1944 in Wise, Virginia and was the son of the late James Earl and Beulah Fleenor Flanary. He was a retired school teacher with the Estill County School System and a member of the Wisemantown Methodist Church. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Stafford 562 Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Flanary is survived by his wife, Lucy Arthur Flanary; one daughter, Karen Flanary, Fayette County; one son, Doug Flanary (Katrina), Estill County; one grandchild, Makenzie Flanary; five nieces and nephews; and a Brother in Spirit, Larry Phoenix.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Stewart.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 13, 11:00 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Greg McClellan. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m., Thursday, April 12th at the funeral home.

Blondell “Dale” Richardson, Jr., age 51, of Wisemantown Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, following a long illness.
He was born April 22, 1966 in Winchester and was the son of the late Blondell and Emma Wierman Richardson. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Richardson is survived by three sisters: Rhonda Tipton (Paul), Madison County; Camera Wiseman (Robby), and Andy Abney (Marty Stapleton), both of Estill County; and nieces and nephews: Trey Wiseman, Jessica Abney, Hank Wiseman and Hannah Abney.
Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, April 11, 1:00 p.m., at the Sunset Memorial Gardens by Beatle Lisle.
Pallbearers were Trey Wiseman, Jessica Abney, Hank Wiseman, Hannah Abney, Beatle Lisle and Marty Stapleton.

Gracie V. Beckley, age 94, of Highway 587 in Beattyville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.
She was born April 8, 1924 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Virgil and Hallie Shouse Rogers. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southside Church of Christ.
Mrs. Beckley was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Beckley.
She is survived by one daughter, Joy C. Beckley, Lee County; one son, Lloyd W. Beckley (Sue Carol), Estill County; one sister: Lee Beckley, Ohio; two brothers: Jim Rogers, Ohio; and Joe Rogers, Lee County; one grandchild, L.W. Beckley (Emily); and one great grandchild, Will Beckley.
Mrs. Beckley was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Beckley; and two brothers: Conley Rogers and Onley Ray Rogers; and one grandchild, Chad Beckley.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 12, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Robbie Rogers. Burial was at the Donnelly Cemetery. Friends called after 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Juanita Hensley-Middleton, age 92, of Union, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Baptist Village Care Center in Erlanger, surrounded by family.
Juanita was born on December 25, 1925 in Irvine, Kentucky, to the late Hume Wagers and Maude Wells Alcorn. She was a homemaker, loving mother, Grannie, and Great-Grannie. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Florence, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hensley; a son-in-law, Wayne Smith; four sisters: Cornelia Hale, Mildred Kelly, Mary Sparks, and Delma Fox; and three brothers, Howard Alcorn, Thomas Alcorn, and Hume Alcorn, Jr.
Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Carolyn Ann Smith of Florence; two granddaughters: Pamela Carol Baker (Mike) of Union, and Bonita Lynn Johnson (Ernie) of Dry Ridge; three great grandsons: Michael Wayne Baker of Florence, Austin Wayne Johnson of Dry Ridge, and Shane Wesley Johnson of Dry Ridge; a great granddaughter, Shanda Leeann Johnson of Covington; two great granddaughters: Juliana Hicks and Arianna Hicks; and three brothers: Jim Alcorn, Gary Alcorn, both of Indiana; and Ray Alcorn of Michigan.
Visitation took place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Highway 42, Florence, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial immediately followed at Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.

Mildred Christine Cooper, age 80, of Cooper Drive in Irvine, Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a short illness.
She was born January 12, 1938 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Nilie “Post” and Bessie Crowe Stone. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Baptist Church where she attended for 70 years. As a faithful servant of the Lord, she devoted much of her time to the church as a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and the Sunshine Gang. She had served as a 4-H Leader and had worked at Meals on Wheels. She was an active member of the Homemaker’s Association and the Estill County Historical Society. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and canning, painting and making baskets.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy Eugene Cooper; one daughter, Pauline Muncie (Larry), Estill County; two sons: Marvin Cooper (Linda) and Raymond Cooper (Shurla), both of Estill County; seven grandchildren: Cynthia Townsend (Jerry), Matthew Cooper (Kristine), Alissa Taylor (Chan), Nathan Cooper (Garrianna), Jaime Wallace (Chris), Kristie Turner (Matt) and Lindsey Rogers (Josh); and 13 great grandchildren: Cale Wilson, Carson Wilson, Drake Cooper, Caleb Taylor, Blake Wallace, Chase Wallace, Norah Cooper, Reid Turner, Kinley Taylor, Maci Turner, Myla Wallace, Abram Cooper and Cooper Rogers.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Irene Richardson, Catherine Rose, and Ada Stamper; and one brother, Elton Stone.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 6, 11:00 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Smith. Burial was at the Sally Poore Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Thursday, April 5th at the funeral home.

Daniel Tracy “Boone” Johnson, 69
Daniel Tracy “Boone” Johnson, age 69, of Wolfinbarger Lane in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a short illness.
He was born August 12, 1948 in Estill County and was the son of the late Clarence and Grace Willis Johnson. He was a former lawn care worker at West Irvine Cemetery and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Coffey Johnson; two daughters: Tracie Bishop (Robert) and April Shuler (Daniel), both of Irvine; three sisters: Frances Johnson Day, Carolyn Johnson Edmonson, and Ouida Johnson Farthing, all of Irvine; and four grandchildren: Trenton Daniel Alan Shuler, Brenton Ricky Lee Shuler, Julie Elizabeth Bishop and Breea Raelynn Kylie Shuler.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Johnson.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, April 5, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Willie Hargus Gordon. Burial was at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends called between 6 and 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 4th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Deward Willis, Tommy Willis, Charlie Willis, Daniel Shuler, Gary Becknell and Roger Means.
