    Ronnie Eldridge Barker, age 74, of Richmond Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
    He was born August 30, 1944 in Estill County and was the son of the late Moss and Mossie Isaacs Barker. He was a retired Eastern Kentucky University employee and had lived in Madison County most of his life.
    Mr. Barker is survived by two sisters: Drucilla Muncie and Betty Hymer, both of Irvine; and one brother, Earl Barker, Oklahoma.
    He was preceded in death by two sisters: Treva Winkler and Barbara White; and one brother, Tracy Barker.
    Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mary Elizabeth Vaughn, 90

    Mary Elizabeth Vaughn, age 90, of Red River Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a long illness.
    She was born April 9, 1929 in Pryse, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Stamper Mitchell. She was a retired from the Irvine Health and Rehabilitation Center where she worked as a nurses aide. She was a member of the Corinth Christian Church and had lived in Estill County most of her life.
    Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Vaughn Jr.
    She is survived by two grandchildren: Sandra Thorne, Texas; and David Lee Richardson, Lexington; one great grandchild, James Blake Thorne; and special friends, Brenda and Danny Neal
    Mrs. Vaughn was preceded in death by two sons: Harry Grant Richardson and Farris Lee Richardson; and one brother, Harry Mitchell.
    Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Linville Dunaway. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 21st at the funeral home.

Juanita Bailey Muncy

    Juanita Bailey Muncy, age 60, wife of Terry Michael Muncy, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at her home.
    She was born in Estill County, Kentucky, on November 5, 1958, to the late Marvin V. and Garnett Moore Bailey. She was a homemaker.
    In addition to her loving husband of 25 years, she is survived by two children, Billy Hollon (LeAnna) and April Ann Taylor; two grandchildren, Alexis Hollon and Devin Xric Taylor; three siblings, Patrisha Bailey, J.R. Bailey and James Bailey; a best friend and sister by heart, Regina Smith.
    Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home, 219 West Lexington Avenue, Winchester by Robert Gayheart. Burial will follow at Maulberry-Crawford Cemetery in Estill County, Kentucky. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Daniel Isaac Rison

    Daniel Isaac Rison, age 30, son of Bart Rison (Sue) and Allison Wolfinbarger Witt (Asa), all of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at his residence.
    He was born December 16, 1988 in Lexington, Kentucky. He graduated from Montgomery County High School in 2007 and was a member of the Mock Trial Team, was a certified Peer Support Advocate, a student studying Social Work and a former employee of Dv8 Kitchen. He had a big heart and loved to serve others. He was passionate about politics, loved to read, cook, watch high school basketball and going to football games with his Daddy and his Tuesday “dates” with his Mom. He never met a stranger and enjoyed meeting new people.
    Mr. Rison is survived by his parents, Bart Rison (Sue) of Mt. Sterling, and Allison Wolfinbarger Witt (Asa) of Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Becca Rison Chase of Sherman, Texas; Mendy Evans of Lexington, and Missy Ryder (Jeff) of Mt. Sterling; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Rison of Irvine; Uncle Phil and Aunt Paula Rison of Carmel, Indiana; and Aunt Becky Dworkin of Farmington Hills, Michigan; niece Jules Chase; cousins Lindsay, Colby, McKenzie, Sabrina and Olivia.
    Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gloria and Gene Wolfinbarger; and his paternal grandfather, Johnny Rison.
    Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel, 109 East Main Street, Mount Sterling, with Rev. Bill Kilgore officiating, and burial following at West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-2 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at funeral home chapel.

Bruce Edward Barrett, 87

    Bruce Edward Barrett, age 87, of Fredmorse Drive in Austin, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Neuro Rehab of Texas.
    He was born August 28, 1931 in Andes, New York to the late Lewis and Carrie Davis Barrett. He was a minister and retired from the United States Air Force.
    Mr. Barrett is preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Witt Barrett.
    He is survived by one daughter, Paula Barrett, Georgia; one son, B. Edward Barrett II, Texas; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Dolores Frazier Brown

    Our beloved mother, Dolores Frazier Brown, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 into the loving arms of our heavenly father.
    She was born on January 2, 1928 in Gallup, Kentucky, to John Frazier, Sr., and Louise Shivel Frazier. She attended Gallup Elementary School from ages 4 to the age of 7. During that time, she lived with her family in an old log cabin in Gallup. At about 8 years old, and for the next several years, she moved with her family to various locations; such as Sciotoville, Ohio; Chapman, Kentucky; Martin, Kentucky; and Auxier, Kentucky; graduating early (at the age of 15) as a senior from Auxier High School. At age 17, Dolores went to cosmetology school in Paintsville, where she traveled to school each day and back by train. At age 18, she took a teaching position at Lost Creek (George’s Creek), Kentucky, which was a one room school house for grades 1st through 8th. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Herman Brown, who had just returned from the war.
    Dolores married Herman Lee Brown in Kentucky on March 22, 1947. They were married 53 years before Herman’s death in February 2000.
    She was a devout Baptist; attending church in California, Oregon and Kentucky before her health declined and she was no longer able to attend. Her children were blessed to have been raised in church, where Dolores could often be found teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, or involved wherever she was needed.
    Dolores always loved life, people, and her family. Her mother gave her the nick-name “Spitfire”. She was an avid and very competitive player of table games, the card game Rook being one of her favorites. She also enjoyed word games such as Scrabble and Upwards, and her favorite TV game show was Jeopardy. She also loved camping, fishing, and the outdoors, and in later years she particularly enjoyed fishing on her grandson’s (Ronnie and Genia’s) property.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, John Frazier Sr., and Louise Shivel Frazier; and one brother, Donald Frazier.
    Mrs. Brown is survived by her sister, Virginia Dixon of Ohio; a brother, Johnny Frazier of Florida; one son, Herman Brown (Rosemary) of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; a daughter, Linda McKinney of Irvine, a daughter Joyce McKinney (Jimmy) of Vancouver, Washington; a daughter Anita Veik (Ron) of Suthrelin, Oregon; a daughter Teresa Baird (Shane) of Sutherlin, Oregon, as well as 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and six great, great grandchildren.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gallup-Chapman United Methodist Church, P O Box 763, Louisa, KY 41230.

    Betty Ruth Hisle, age 84, a resident of the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center passed away Monday, May 13, 2019, at the Center following a long illness.
    She was born March 6, 1935 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Willie and Elizabeth Stepp Hisle. She was a retired Carhartt, Inc. employee and a member of the Crooked Creek Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life.
    Ms. Hisle is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Jean Hisle, Estill County; her niece, Starlet Hisle, Estill County; and her nephew, Paul Hisle, Laurel County.
    She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Hisle.
    Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, May 18, 10:00 a.m. at the Crooked Creek Christian Church, 1980 Crooked Creek Road, Irvine.

    Viola Aileen Byrd Bowlin, age 86, widow of the late John Leslie Bowlin, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentuky.
    She was born October 5, 1932 in Berea, Kentucky, to the late Hugh and Cora Byrd. She was a homemaker, loved Nascar, basketball, and was of the Christian Faith.
    Other than her husband and parents, Viola was preceded in death by five brothers, Wallace Byrd, Charles Byrd, Hugh Byrd Jr., Buram Byrd, and Cecil Byrd; and four sisters, Norine Byrd Golonski, Hazel Byrd Osborne, Ada Byrd Lunsford, and Bertha Lee Byrd Kidwell.
    She is survived by three children, Rick Bowlin (Vickie) of Berea, John Bowlin Jr. (Michelle) of Irvine, and Sandra Martin (Anthony) of Richmond; four grandchildren, Dallas Austin Bowlin, Gabby Bowlin, Heather Rae Bowlin, and Niel Martin; one sister, Lois Philbeck; and sister-in-law, Marie Byrd.
    Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Davis and Powell Funeral Home, LLC, 616 Chestnut Street in Berea, Kentucky, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery on Ottis Miracle Road in Mount Vernon.

    Glenn Ray Cockrell, age 61, of Dark Hollow Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a long illness.
    He was born October 3, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio and was the son of the late Jack Reed Cockrell Sr. and Louise Horn Cockrell. He was a mechanic and had lived in Estill County all his life.
    Mr. Cockrell is survived by four daughters: Renae Chips, Fayette Co. Deeann Boyd, Carol Cockrell, and Glenda Reed, all of Estill County; one son, Glenn Ray Cockrell Jr., Estill County; six sisters: Betty Anderson, Rosemary Woolery, both of Ohio; Judy Sheeks, Pamela Goosey, both of Estill County; Karen Gibbs, Ohio, and Beulah Moore, Estill County; three brothers: Charles Cockrell, Florida; Jack Reek Cockrell Jr., and Daniel Cockrell, both of Estill County; and nine grandchildren.

Dwight Newton

    Dwight Newton, age 84, passed away on May 9, 2019.
    He was born December 14, 1934 in Irvine, Kentucky, to the late Ernest and Martha Jane Henry Newton. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired in maintenance from the University of Kentucky.
    Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Howell Newton in February 2016; and brothers: James, Ernest and Daniel Newton
    Dwight is survived by his daughters: Jacqueline Newton, Pamela Newton, Janet Lauren Sangster and Darlena Davila; grandchildren: Bridgit Christian and Nicole Sipos; great-grandchildren: Natalie Sipos, Maddox, Brody and Noah Christian; and four sisters: Cynthia Lucille Beam, Ada Tanner, Alice Johns and Carolyn Feck.

Henry Burnam Sandidge II

    Henry Burnam Sandidge II, 90, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, husband of Rosetta Kay Freeman Sandidge, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, after suffering a debilitating fall.
    Born April 24, 1929, in Stanford, Kentucky, he was the son of the late George and Marguerite Tarkington Sandidge. He attended public schools in Lincoln County, Kentucky.
    Henry was the retired owner and president of his electrical contracting company, Sandidge Incorporated. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington where he met his wife, Rosetta, at High Point, the ministry for singles. He and Rosetta would have celebrated 38 years of marriage on July 12 of this year. Henry was a veteran; he loved his country and served as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War era. He was a University of Kentucky Fellow and an ardent supporter of UK football and basketball. Henry was a Mason and served as master and past master of Hart Lodge #61 in Nicholasville. He was named a Kentucky Colonel in 1967 by Governor Edward Breathitt. In retirement, Henry’s passions were playing golf, following the UK Wildcats, making annual trips to Florida, and visiting with family at Fox.
    Henry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, and a caring and supportive friend to all who knew him. He never met a stranger.
    In addition to his wife, Rosetta, he is survived by two sons: Henry Sandidge (Donna) from Rockvale, Tennessee; and Juneau Calmes (Mary) from Georgetown. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jeana Lattus (Adrian), Greg Sandidge (Rachel), Claire Calmes, and Devon Calmes; and three great grandchildren, Ellie Jo, Karina, and Lincoln.
    Henry also leaves to mourn his passing a brother-in-law, Phillip Freeman and wife Gail, Irvine; a sister-in-law, Linda Freeman, Manchester; nieces, Candy Jackson and Kim Freeman; nephews, Brandon, Casey, and Christopher Freeman; Joe, Bill, and David Allen Johnson; Herby and Don Vongruenigen; David, Terry, Mark, Bobby, and Jim Sandidge; a host of great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins; and many friends including his golfing buddies at Lone Oak Golf Course, particularly Pete Myers and Charles Fugate.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Vongruenigen Rouse and Mary Johnson; two brothers, Howard and George Sandidge; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jesse and Mary Freeman; and brother-in-law, Glenn Freeman.
    Funeral services for Henry will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home, Irvine. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, May 16, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

    Joseph Wayne Rogers, age 46, of Vada Drive in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Marcum & Wallace Hospital following a long illness.
    He was born July 31, 1972 in Fayette County to George Kenneth Rogers Jr. and Mary Carol Davidson Rogers. He was a former truck driver and lived in Estill County most of his life.
    Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, DaMeita Pendergest Rogers, Estill County; his parents, George and Mary Carol Rogers, Estill County; one daughter, V. Shawnee Rogers; one son, Trevor Wayne Rogers; four sisters: Tammie Smith (Dwight), Lisa Collier (Doug), both of Estill County; Estella Carol Rogers and Becky Jewell (Josh), both of Madison County; one brother, George Kenneth Rogers III (Sylvia), Fayette County; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 15, 2:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Kevin Turpin and Bro. Tim Hoffman. Burial followed in the Rogers Cemetery. Friends called between 6-9 p.m., Tuesday night, May 14th at the funeral home.

    Mary Sheryl Rogers, 63, wife of Donny Rogers, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Marcum & Wallace Hospital, Irvine, Kentucky.
    She was born December 20, 1955 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Claybrook and Pauline Lawson Tester.
    Survivors include, husband, Donny Rogers; son, Brandon Rogers; daughters, Regina Whisman and Melanie Watkins; sisters, Cathy Sizemore, Joyce Wright, and Shannon Cox; and grandchildren, Rheannon Smith, Rylee Ballard, Keeleah Watkins, Trey Whisman, Keegan Watkins, and Brookelynn Winship.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Claybrook and Pauline Tester; a brother, Marvin Ratliff; and a grandchild, Brayden Rogers.

    Willard Lee Puckett, age 88, of Furnace Junction in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond following a short illness.
    He was born January 19, 1936 in Estill County to the late Allen and Elizabeth Crouch Puckett. He was a carpenter and had lived in Estill County all his life.
    Mr. Puckett is survived by his wife, Mary Katherine Moreland Puckett; one son, Nicholas Ray Puckett, Madison County; two sisters: Beatrice West, Estill County; and Jenny Lou Berry, Jackson County; six grandchildren: Andy Lee Conner, Ronnie Wayne Story, Christopher Puckett, Dennis Puckett, Denise Puckett and Joshua Puckett; and seven great grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa Gayle Puckett Taylor; two sisters: Ida B. West and Sally Markland; and one brother, James Puckett.

James Orell Mosley

    James Orell Mosley, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at his residence in Beattyville, Kentucky.
    He was born June 16, 1929 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, a son of the late Clay and Rhoda "Spencer" Mosley. James was of the Christian faith being a member of the Cressmont Baptist Church and was retired as a carpenter in the construction trade. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners Lodge #213 in Proctor, KY.
    James is survived by one son, James Clay Mosley of Irvine; one daughter, Brenda Williams (Ted) of Hamilton, Ohio; one brother, Douglas Goosey of Beattyville; two sisters: Betty Harrod of Frankfort, and Lena Heagy of Florida; four grandchildren: Emily, Ava, Bella, and Liam; and many other family members and friends.
    Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Lenny Mosley, Edward Goosey and Dexter Goosey; and one sister, Barbara Becknell
    Visitation will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Booneville Funeral Home, 3450 Ky Hwy 11 North in Booneville, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rob Morgan officiating.     Russell W. Howard, 44, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
    He was a native of Killeen, Texas, born August 7, 1974, the son of Mike and Connie Powell. He was truck driver, a member of Providence Baptist Church, and a United States Marine Corps veteran.
    Survivors, other than his parents, include his daughters: Mercedes Howard, Paige Matthews, and Makayla Howard; his brothers: Carl Anthony Miles, Nathan Scott Howard, and Mike Duane Powell Jr.; and his sister, Amanda Roxann Powell.

Grace Chambers McLemore

    Grace Chambers McLemore, age 90, of Winchester, Kentucky, widow of Marvin Eugene “Gene” McLemore, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling.
    Born on July 6, 1928 in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Rev. John Rose and Mrs. Lucille Kimbrell Chambers. She was adored and cherished in life and will be deeply mourned hereafter.
    Grace is survived by her children: David McLemore (Linda) and Jeanne Crowe (Dallis), her daughter-in-law, Patti McLemore, all of Winchester; her six grandchildren: Kimberly Bugg (Van) of Harrodsburg, Morgan Heath (Michael) of Winchester, Dallis Crowe II (Heather) of Richmond, Shawna Lucas (Darrell) of Richmond, Paul McLemore II (Mary Ellen) of Winchester, and Whitney Crowe of Winchester; her 10 great grandchildren: Taylor Lewis (Zach) of Winchester, Hannah Ritchie of Harrodsburg; Hunter, Hayden, and Houston Heath of Winchester; Shelby and Jaxon Lucas of Richmond; and Mason, Lily, and Kimbrell McLemore of Winchester; and her sister, Thelma Chambers Horton of Winchester.
    She is preceded in death by her son, Paul McLemore; and by four siblings: John Fox Chambers, Betty “Bab” Arthur, Calla Chambers, and Joe Chambers.
    Grace was a woman of faith and was a member of Epperson First Church of God, where she shared her musical talents as the Church’s longtime pianist and was a member of the Epperson First Church of God Missionary Society. She also was an active member of the community, previously serving as treasurer of the Glen Eden Youth Center and fundraising for the George Rogers Clark High School Marching Band. Grace retired from the Lexington-Bluegrass Army Depot. She also spent many years providing child care for beloved family and friends, many of whom knew her best as “Nana Grace.”
    The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Scobee Funeral Home, 219 West Lexington Avenue, Winchester, by Rev. Chris Williams. Burial will follow at Winchester Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 13th at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers are Dallis Crowe II, Paul McLemore II, Van Bugg, Michael Heath, Darrell Lucas, and Zach Lewis.
    Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters, great grandchildren, Epperson First Church of God Missionary Society, and Dr. Charles Salters.

Vivian Flynn

    Vivian Flynn, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
    She was born on August 24, 1950 to the late Dillard and Opal "Abney" Patrick in Irvine, Kentucky.
    Vivian was born into a very large family on Cobb Hill in Estill County. She left her childhood home to attend Berea College where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in biology. Education was very important to Vivian and she instilled that in her children at a very young age. She was a voracious reader with an extensive library and was a wealth of knowledge.
    She is survived by her loving husband, John Bishop Flynn; sons, Alexander Patrick Flynn and John Bishop Flynn II; brothers, Willard, James, Arnold, Larry and Greg Patrick; sister, Brenda Patrick, and grandchild, Remington Flynn. In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by brothers, William Ralph Patrick, Fred Patrick and sister, Marie Patrick.
    Family will receive friends for a memorial calling on Sunday May 19, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Milward-Southland, 391 Southland Drive, Lexington.

Mildred Wood and Mossie Vick Wood

    Mildred Wood, age 93, of Harris Ferry Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington following a long illness.
    She was born March 19, 1926 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Millard Mansfield and Myrtle Modell Short. She was a housewife and gardener and a member of the Corinth Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life.
    Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, Mossie Vick Wood.
    She is survived by three daughters: Donna Curtin, Champagne, Ohio; Terrie Bond, Winchester; and Vickie Wood, Irvine; two brothers: Melvin Mansfield and Ronald Mansfield; six grandchildren: Joshua Carter, Jessica Wood, Whitney Bond, Oliver Bond, Dustan Curtin and Daphney Curtin; six great grandchildren including a very special great grandchild, Chloie Madison Faith Osborne; and her fur baby – Bella Grace.
    Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by three sisters: Mae Richardson, Pearl Freeman, and Alsie Merritt; and five brothers: Roy, Clyde, Gene, Junior and Earl Mansfield.
    Funeral services were conducted Friday, May 10, 2:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Linville Dunaway. Burial was at the Johnny Richardson Cemetery. Friends called from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers were Sonny Woosley, Ezra Freeman, Jamie Freeman, Gary Freeman, Jeff Freeman and Millard Richardson.

    Lewis David Allen Jr., age 61, of Winchester Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home following a long illness.
    He was born October 30, 1957 in Clark County to the late Lewis David Allen Sr. and Cleta Witt Allen. He was a former employee of the Ravenna Greenhouse, BP Service Station, and Quality Manufacturing. He attended the Ivory Hill Baptist Church and was a former member of the Jaycees. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
    He is survived by three sisters: Betty Louise Brooks, Estill County; Wanda Hare (James), Florida; and Norma Roark (Glen), Alabama; three nephews: Johnny Brooks Jr., Stewart Sheckler (Dawn), and William Flint Childers; one niece: Michelle Tipton (Ed); several great nieces and nephews, and several great, great nieces and nephews.
    Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, May 9, 2 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Stewart Sheckler. Friends may call after 1 p.m., Thursday, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.

Gary Lee Isaacs, 72

    Gary Lee Isaacs, 72, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019, after a long illness with his family by his side.
    He was a native of Estill County, born September 18, 1946, a son of the late Charlie Isaacs and Bertha Parsons Barnes. Gary was a retired Union Ironworker, Local #70. He attended Lexington Road Church of God, in Richmond.
    He was preceded in death by his brothers, Darryl Isaacs and Billy C. Newton.
    Survivors include his wife, Patty Isaacs; a son, Chad Isaacs (Kimberly); and a grandson, HA Corpsman Austin Lee Isaacs.
    A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the Lexington Road Church of God, 2336 Lexington Road, Richmond.
