Christine Elliott Stamper, age 86, of Patsy Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at her home.
She was born December 27, 1934 at Jellico in Whitley County, Kentucky and was the daughter of the late John and Melvina Elliott Siler.
Mrs. Stamper was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Elwood Stamper.
She is survived by four daughters: Charlotte Eskew, Madison County; Barbara Bryan, Florida; Sandra Williams, Fayette County; and Renee Renee Clark, Franklin County; one son, Michael Stamper, Estill County; ten grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Glynn Elwood Stamper, Jr.; and her brother, Roger Siler.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Cobb Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Antonchak, Travis Antonchak, Keith Bryan, Donald Bryan, Alexander Bryan and Kenny Watson.

Ricky Napier, age 65, of South Irvine Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
He was born February 19, 1955 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Isaac and Amanda Campbell Napier. He was a retired CSX employee and attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Mr. Napier is survived by his wife, Virginia Lee Seale Napier; one daughter, Deidre Jo Reeves, Richmond; two sons: Derrick Ryan Napier (Laura), Winchester; and Josh Napier, Irvine; one sister, Maxine Puckett, Irvine; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Isaac Napier, Jr.
Visitation for the public will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Kevin Puckett.

Robert Alan Chasteen, age 36, husband of Melissa Anderson Chasteen of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Highway 82 in Irvine, Kentucky.
Born in Irvine, Kentucky, August 14, 1984, he was the son of Betty Ellen Chasteen of Stanton, Kentucky. He was employed by Southcreek Management Company where he served in the field of maintenance.
The happiest day of his life was the day he married his wife, Melissa. He loved to play video games, fish; and enjoyed making people laugh.
In addition to his wife and his mother, Robert is survived by his brother, Eugene Chasteen (Heather) of Mount Sterling; one step-son, Hunter Esteppe of Jeffersonville; one step-daughter, Charity Esteppe of Salt Lick; one step-grandchild, Skylah Sexton; one nephew, Christopher Chasteen; and two nieces: Chyanna Chasteen and Sabrina Elkins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Hearne Funeral Home.
Burial will be conducted at Stanton Cemetery following the funeral service with Paul Clines, Cody Clines, Steve Esteppe, Hunter Esteppe, Mac Sexton, Travis Olinger and Austin Clines serving as active pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Goodwin, Cynthia Goodwin, Eugene Chasteen and co-workers at Southcreek Management Company.

Zula Walling Brock, age 68, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 11:40 a.m. at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, following a short illness.
She was born February 4, 1952, in Lee County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jeff Walling and Nettie Stacey Bowles of Beattyville.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelly Jones (Leon).
She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Bradley Crowe; a daughter-in-law, Clarissa Harrison; four brothers: Elmer Bowles, Bobby Joe Slone, Michael Dean Burgen and James Shouse; and a sister, Aida Begley.
Zula is survived by one sister, Margaret Lemaster, and one brother, Donald Walling, both of Irvine.
She is also survived by two granddaughters: Brooklyn Dakota Crowe and Charlee Elizabeth Crowe; and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Zula was the rock of our family in so many ways; the fun, yet serious, part of all our upbringing. She enjoyed pictures of her children and grandkids, (placed) throughout her house. Absolutely no limit to extent of love she had to give. Certainly miss all she was for many.
Visitation begins Friday, January 22, 2021 at 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Lewis-Abner Funeral Home. Funeral services officiated by Tony Marshall will be held Saturday January 23, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in South Irvine Cemetery.

Angela Lopell Dixon, age 54, of Regis Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, following a long illness.
She was born May 21, 1966, in Fayette County, the daughter of Levaron Harrison Dixon and the late Woodrow Wilson Dixon Jr. She was a former teacher in the Estill County School System and had lived in Estill County all of her life. She attended the Providence Baptist Church.
Ms. Dixon is survived by her mother, Levaron Harrison Dixon, Estill County; two aunts: Opal Gadd, Madison County; and
Frances Marcum, Estill County; two uncles: Jack Mainous and Jake Estes, both of Estill County; and several friends.
Visitation for the public was held Friday, January 22, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services were conducted by Bro. Tim Roberts with burial at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Kenny Webb, Howard Rogers, Sam Berryman, Donnie Webb, Sammy Ray Sparks and Marty Stepp.
Honorary pallbearers were her friends and family.

Shirley Faye Alexander Combs, age 69, of Ben Hunt Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at the Baptist Health Lexington Hospital following a long illness.
She was born June 7, 1951, in Madison County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Thomas Lloyd and Flora Mae Clemmons Alexander. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County most of her life. She attended the Providence Baptist Church.
Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon Ray Combs.
She is survived by a son, Steven Ray Combs (Michelle Holbrook), Irvine; and one grandchild, Nicholas Todd Combs.
Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Chrisman; and three brothers, Otis, Junior, and Wilbert Alexander.
Visitation for the public will be held Friday, January 22, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services were conducted by Bro. Tim Roberts with burial at the Winston Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Caleb Alexander, Eddie Alexander, Tim Alexander, Shane Calloway, Nicholas Combs and Leroy Jackson.

Donald James Sheeks Jr., age 40, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital in Irvine.
He was born August 16, 1980 in Irvine to Donald James Sheeks Sr. and Judy A. Cockrell Sheeks. He was a truck driver and a member of the Panola Baptist Church.
Mr. Sheeks is survived by his mother Judy Sheeks; a son, Malachi Begley; and a sister, Melissa Puckett.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald James Sheeks Sr.
A graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Johnny Richardson Cemetery in Irvine with Bro. Marvin Neal officiating.
Family ask in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Margie Ellen Rogers, age 81, widow of Don Rogers, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Stanton, Kentucky.
She was born Wednesday, February 8, 1939 in Estill County, Kentucky, to the late Ruford and Stella Shuler Watson.
A homemaker, she is survived by a son, Richard "Ricky" Rogers of Lexington; four daughters: Donna Meadows, Linda Smith, Judy Lacy, and Patricia Willoughby, all of Stanton; a brother Teddy Watson of Estill County; a sister, Bertha Wise of Winchester; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, January 22, 2021, 2:00 p.m., by Rev. Raymond Tipton and Rev. James Smith at Davis and Davis Funeral Home of Stanton. Visitation Thursday, January 21st after 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Resthaven Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Shirleen Barnett Chaney, age 71, of Cow Creek Road in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, following a short illness.
She was born March 9, 1949 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Lloyd Barnett and Lula Bailey Webb. She was a former Ajax employee and had lived in Estill County for the past 15 years.
Shirleen is survived by her daughter, Gidget Chaney, Estill County; four sisters: Priscilla Woods, Estill County; Judy Dunaway, Madison County; Bonnie Hall and Gayla Melton, both of Estill County; two brothers: Bud Barnett, Estill County; and Mike Barnett, Madison County; one grandchild, Chesney Tipton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenny Ray Barnett and Phillip Keith Barnett.
Visitation for the public will be held Wednesday, January 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Terry Barnes with burial at the Hood Tipton Cemetery.

Thomas Wayne Sparks, age 68, of Pitts Road in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021, at his home following a long illness.
He was born February 24, 1952 in Estill County and was the son of the late Lonnie Thomas and Minerva Cox Sparks. He was a former employee of the Estill County Road Department and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Sparks is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lisa Powell Sparks; two sons: Shawn Sparks and Dan Sparks, both of Estill County; one sister, Emma Tipton, Estill County; one brother, Albert Sparks, Estill County; and three grandchildren, Landon, Ashton and Trenton Sparks.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Fike and Mildred Rawlins; and two brothers, Billy Sparks and Gene Sparks.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Amy Lorene Townsend, age 54, of Clay City, Kentucky, wife of Jeff Townsend, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Irvine, Kentucky, September 20, 1966 to Austin and Carol Sue Horn Brewer. She was a member of the Wildwood Chapel and a life member of the AMVETS Post 67 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Townsend is survived by her husband, Jeff Townsend of Clay City; one daughter, Frances Baber (Phillip); two brothers: Brian Brewer and Mark Brewer; and a sister, Shelly Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Carol Brewer; a son, Benjamin James Brewer; a daughter, Rebecca Alana Townsend; and a brother, Darrell Brewer.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2 till 5 p.m. at the AMVETS Post 67 Building in Clay City. Bro. George Sparks will be officiating.

Donald Ray “Duck” Rawlins, age 57, of Turner Avenue in Irvine, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Louisville following a long illness.
He was born September 28, 1963 in Madison County and was the son of the late Donald and Ona B. Morris Rawlins. He was a retired employee of Sherwin Williams and an avid pool player. He attended the Green Pastures Worship Center and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Rawlins is survived by his wife, Tobie Ann Richardson Rawlins;one son, Justin Ray Rawlins, Estill County; three siblings; and one grandchild, Madison Raylynn Rawlins.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, James Michael Rawlins.
Graveside services were held Friday, January 15, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at the Chestnut Stand Cemetery by Bro. Doug Baker.
Pallbearers were Budd Tucker, Tony Garrett, Keith Tuttle, Chris Rader, Dwight Willis and River Norton.
