Anna Dale Johns, age 69, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington in the Hospice Care Center.
She was born November 24, 1951 in Winchester, Kentucky, to the late John and Alverta Virginia Lawwill Lake.
Survivors include, a daughter, Crystal Wireman (Scott), Stanton; two grandchildren, Emily Wireman and Ethan Wireman; and a sister, Peggy Weese.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Ann Mullins (the late Robert Mullins); and one grandchild, Rylan Wasson.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Davis & Davis Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton, by Bro. Gene Johns and Bro. Josh Johns. Visitation was held Tuesday, 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Stonegate Cemetery with Scott Wireman, Ethan Wireman, Danny Plowman, Jimmy Murry, Jason Johns, and Patrick Johnson serving as pallbearers.

Harold Franklin Willis, age 76, of Jenkins Branch in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021, at his home following a long illness.
He was born February 24, 1945 in Estill County and was the son of the late Winburn and Dorothy Willis. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Willis is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jenkins Willis, and is survived by his son, Jeff Jenkins (Betty), Irvine; four grandchildren: James, Kari, Connor and Steven; and one great grandchild, Jackson.
Visitation for the public were held Sunday, May 16, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services were conducted by Bro. Jason Brooks with burial at the Tackett Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Jenkins, Paul Rose, Paul Goosey, Jeremiah Knuckles, Todd Jenkins and Conner Jenkins.
Honorary pallbearer was Steven Rose.

Kenneth W. Edmonson, age 75, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Highland Springs.
Born in Estill County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Robert Edmonson and Bertha Blake and a truck driver. He was a Mason for 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Edmonson; and a sister, Ann Hodges.
He is survived by a special friend, Sue Boles; one son, Brian Lee Edmonson of Covington; one brother, Robert Edmonson (Patricia), and one sister, Nancy Wilson (Don), both of Irvine.
Funeral services officiated by Bro. Adrian McKinney will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Lewis-Abner Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery with Robert Wayne Edmonson, Daren Wilson, Mike Hodges and Danny Rawlins serving as active pallbearers.

Glorine Dennis, 88, widow of Buddie Dennis, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home.
She was born in Estill County, Kentucky, on May 18, 1932, to the late Ambrose and Stella Puckett Ashcraft. She worked at Osram Sylvania, was retired from General Electric and was a member of Forest Grove Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Dennis (Betsy) and Danny Dennis (Pam); two grandchildren, Heather Foley (Eric) and Ashley Hardin (Kevin); one sister, Betty Johnson; three great grandchildren, Liam Davis, Annalise Hardin, and Carter Foley; and several extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Eva Brinegar, Jess Ashcraft, Irene Napier, Amy Dawes, Roy Ashcraft and Edd Ashcraft.
Services will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Forest Grove Christian Church by Pastor Steven Moore. Burial will follow at Boonesboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers are Harry Chapman, Wayne Ashcraft, Mike Tipton, Eric Foley, Kevin Hardin, and Doug Craycraft.

Juanita Lynn Estes, age 72, of Bertha Court in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, following an extended illness.
She was born October 28, 1948 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Donald C. and Loraine McIntosh Gumm. She was a retired hairdresser and attended the Irvine First Church of the Nazarene. She received the title of Kentucky Colonel and had lived in Estill County all her life.
Mrs. Estes is survived by her husband, Kenneth Estes; one son, Kenneth Wayne Henry, Estill County; two sisters: Donna Jean Farmer and Wanda Carlene McIntosh, both of Estill County; and two grandchildren: Christian Wayne Henry and Kayle Nicole Henry.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Boswell and Sharon Birchfield; and one brother, Donald Gumm Jr.
Visitation for the public was held Friday, May 14, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services were conducted by Bro. Curt Napier with burial at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Jeff Isaacs, Jon Isaacs, Mike Hodges, Steven Birchfield and Jacob Birchfield, and Doug Flannery.

Kavan Dakota Richardson, age 27, of South Irvine Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at the Baptist Health in Richmond.
He was born January 28, 1994 in Montgomery County and was the son of the late Andra Michelle Richardson Gibson. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the String Town Baptist Church. He had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Alexandra Cathleen Sparkman Richardson; his son, Braxton Robert Dakota Richardson, Indiana; his grandparents, Bill and Mildred Richardson, Estill County; his great grandmother, Mary Smith, Estill County; two uncles: Lamonie Gerald Richardson, Madisonville; and Jason Eric Richardson (Nicole), Estill County; and several cousins.
Visitation for the public will be held Friday, May 14, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Kenneth Bishop.

Blake Kristopher Crowe, age 28, of South Winn Avenue in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 27, 1992 in Madison County, Kentucky, and was the son of Brian Keith and Kristi Lynn Wolfinbarger Crowe. He was a teacher with the Estill County School System and was the Head Coach of the Estill County High School Baseball Team. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Rebecca Jordyn Honchell Crowe; two sons: Braxton Karter Crowe and Rhys Jacob Crowe; his brother, Caleb Tanner Crowe (Meredith); his grandparents: Harry & Tina Crowe and Judy Wolfinbarger; his father & mother-in-law, Larry & Barsha Honchell; his brother-in-law, Steve Honchell; and his nephew, Blake Honchell.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wilgus “Wigg” Wolfinbarger
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, May 13th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Estill County High School Gym. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 1:00 p.m., by Bro. Mark Pearson and Bro. Greg Humpert at the ECHS Gym. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Cade Berryman, Blake Sullivan, Kyle Tibbs, Blayne Rutherford, Zach Withers and Josh England.
Honorary pallbearers are the ECHS Baseball Team, Coach Todd Morris, Coach Todd Weaver and Coach Ryan Hess.

Corey Nathaniel King, age 19, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021.
He was born March 22, 2002 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He worked for the Clay Ingels Company, Lexington, KY.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Lou King of Irvine; his father, Albert Shawn Kirby Jr. (Amber Gordon) of Irvine; his paternal grandparents, Albert and Mary Kirby of Irvine; his maternal grandfather, Edgar King of West Liberty; his maternal grandparents, Terri Fields (Melvin) of Irvine; two sisters, Kendra Kirby and Chelsea King, both of Irvine; two brothers, Elijah Kirby and Bentley Kirby, both of Irvine; and a host Of aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, 367 Main Street, West Liberty, with Bro. Harry Frisby officiating. Interment will be in King Cemetery, Vance Fork. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Dr. T. Dwaine Riddell, age 73, of Poplar Street in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021, at the Masonic Home in Shelbyville, Kentucky, following a long illness.
He was born February 20, 1948 in Madison County and was the son of the late Thomas and Thelma Johnson Riddell. He was a retired teacher and principal with the Estill County School System and was a member of the Irvine First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Irvine Masonic Lodge 137 F&AM, the Stafford Masonic Lodge 562, the Shriners, the Irvine Chapter & Council and served as a board member of the Masonic Home for 20 years. He was a former member of the Kentucky National Guard and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Riddell was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Louise Lethgo Riddell; and two daughters, Doris Faye and Thelma Kaye Riddell.
He is survived by his daughter, Dena Riddell Swim (Russ), Irvine; and his grandson, Micah Trey Swim.
Visitation for the public will be held Monday, May 10, 2021, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private services will be conducted by Bro. David Nichols, and Masonic Rites will be performed. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Dr. T. Dwaine Riddell Memorial Scholarship through Citizens Guaranty Bank.

Ricky David Richardson, age 53, of Blackburn Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at his home.
He was born January 6, 1968 in Estill County and was the son of Barbara Goosey Richardson and the late Elwood Richardson. He was a bricklayer and attended the Substation Pentecostal Church. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Richardson is preceded in death by his wife, Danielle Harrison Richardson.
Survivors in addition to his mother, include two sons: Brandon Keith Richardson, Estill County; and Nicholas Richardson, Corbin; one brother, Gregory Richardson, Estill County; one grandchild, McKinley Sparks; and a niece and nephew: Alexandria Lee and Grant Richardson.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Glenn Russell Witt, age 73, husband of Wanda Turpin Witt for 49 years and beloved father of Misty Witt Rupard, passed away at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky, on Monday, May 3, 2021.
Glenn was born February 9, 1948 in Estill County to the late Russell and Ruth Witt. Glenn worked for 25 years for Crew 311, State Highway Engineering Department in Irvine.
Survivors other than his wife and daughter, include a son-in-law, David Rupard; a grandson, Sam Rupard; and his prayer warrior mother-in-law, Betty Turpin (Granny).
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sherry Witt Hatfield, and a special nephew, Peter Harrison.
Visitation for the public was held Friday, May 7, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Private funeral services were conducted by Bro. Aaron Batey with burial at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Junior Dunn, David Rupard, Jack Chaney, Tommy Jones, David Turpin and Donnie Witt.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Shouse and Ray Arvin.
John David “J.D.” Vanderpool, 85

John David “J.D.” Vanderpool, the husband of Drucilla Taylor Vanderpool and the son of the late John David and August Williams Vanderpool was born in Lee County, Kentucky on July 8, 1935 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 25 days. He retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department after working as a mechanic for 26 years.
In addition to his wife, Drucilla of Beattyville, Kentucky; J.D. leaves behind three nephews, Roger, Glen, and Kenny Vanderpool, also all of Beattyville; two nieces, Judy Richardson (Jimmy) of Irvine, and Linda Hurd of New Hampshire; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Rothel and Lowell Vanderpool; and one nephew, Johnny Vanderpool.
Funeral services will be private with burial in the Bowman Cemetery on Old Hwy. 11 North in Beattyville.
