Domingo Quiahua, age 43, of Clearfield, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, November 15, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Mr. Quiahua was born on October 18,1978 in Astacinga, Mexico to Julian and Victoria Quiahua.
In addition to his parents, Domingo is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Branham Quiahua; a daughter, Samantha Neace and fiancé’ Bradley Cash; a son, Justin Neace; two grandchildren, Zoey Wills and Roman Walker; and two brothers, Lidio Quiahua and Elpidio Quiahua.
Funeral services for Domingo Quiahua will be conducted on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lewis-Abner Home for Funerals with Steve Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Moberley-Crawford Cemetery in Ravenna, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Williams, Bradley Cash, Justin Neace, Pedro Quiahua, Abel Quiahua, and Eleazar Quiahua.
Charles Allen Strange, 70

Charles Allen Strange, age 70, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky.
Born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Irvin Strange and the late Myrtle Snowden Strange. Charlie was a landscaper who loved drinking his coffee and dancing at the dance halls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Roy Strange, David Marion Strange, Ethel Tipton, Bethel Dennis and Mary Puckett.
Charlie is survived by his children, Charlene Strange, Sarah Strange and Rachel Vault, all of Florida; and his siblings, Eugene Strange (Tabitha) of Irvine, Billy Ray Strange, Jerry Strange (Gathala), both of Clay City, James Strange (Brenda) of Lexington, Minnie Pearl Jordan (James Holder) of Clay City, Helen Townsend of Stanton, and Nancy Puckett of Irvine. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Kennon Cemetery. Graveside services officiated by Bro. Dennis Sparks will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m.

Ricky Maurice Chaney, age 61, of Walton Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at the Baptist Health in Richmond following a short illness.
He was born August 27, 1960 in Estill County and was the son of the late Arthur and Bobbie Walton Chaney. He was truck driver and a member of the Estill County Rescue Squad and the Estill County Fire Department. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Chaney was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lou Estes Chaney, and is survived by one son, Edmond Chaney; a sister, Michelle Crowe (Ritchie), Estill County; a brother, Kevin L. Chaney, Estill County; and a special nephew and niece: Austin and Macayla Mosley.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at the Walton Cemetery with Bro. John Isfort officiating.

Myra Louise Finney, age 77, of Main Street in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at her home, following a long illness.
She was born August 26, 1944 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Myron and Margaret Richardson Thomas. She was a retired teacher with the Estill County School System and was a member of the Rice Station Christian Church. She was also a member of the Teachers Association, the Marcum & Wallace Ladies Auxiliary, the Kiwanis Club, the DAR and Delta Kappa Gama. She served on the Tourism Board, the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital Foundation and worked as a Commissioner with the Housing Authority of Irvine. She was also a founding member of the River City Players.
Mrs. Finney was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Finney, and is survived by one daughter, Leah Williams, Estill County; one son, Christopher Williams, Estill County; one sister, Marilyn Drake, Mt. Washington; and four grandchildren: Jason Williams, Lona Katherine Williams, Jacob Williams and Mason Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, William Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Rice Station Christian Church with Bro. Joe Hall officiating. Burial will be at the Thomas Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Rice Station Christian Church.
Pallbearers will be Butch Hardy, Jason Williams, Stephen Willis, Jake Williams, Mason Williams and Joe Martin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Blaine Click, Skip Johnson, and Robby Johnson.

Alice Lucille Lakes Kirby, age 71, died on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Rockcastle Regional Medical Center in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. She was the widow of David G. Kirby, Sr.
Alice was born on May 30, 1950 at Bearwallow, Kentucky, and was the daughter of Newtt and Donella Brock Lakes, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, William G. Kirby (Cassie) and David Newton Kirby (Rebecca Asbury); five grandchildren, Ashton Kirby, Jasmine Kirby, Jadelyn Kirby, Marshall Kirby, and Nevaeh Kirby; one brother, William Lester Lakes; and four sisters, Shirley Lunsford, Janet Lakes, Cathy Satterfield, and Lillian Centers.
A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Revel officiating. Burial followed in the Pea Ridge Holiness Church Cemetery in Estill County. Visitation was from 5–9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Marshall Kirby, Ashton Kirby, Josh Asbury, Bobby Asbury, Brian Gregory, and Jess Litten.

Laura Rose Caudill, 86, wife of Clay Snowden Caudill, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Born in Estill County, Kentucky, on October 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Bonnie Canter Spivey.
In addition to her loving husband of 66 years, she is survived by three children: Pam Winebrenner (Kevin), Susan Crowe (Dorsey), and James C. Caudill (Judy); four siblings, Troy Spivey (Polly), Audrey Puckett (Frank), Nancy Basham, and Glenn Spivey (Judy); and seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and a son, Steve Eugene Caudill.
Mrs. Caudill’s wishes were to be cremated with services at a later date.

Phillip Jason Puckett, age 41, of Lela Lane in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021.
He was born March 16, 1980 in Louisville and was the son of Winfred Glenn Puckett and Jo Ellen Calmes Dawson. He was a musician and attended the Tates Creek Christian Church. He had lived in Florida most of his life.
Survivors, in addition to his father and mother include, one daughter, Stephanie Michelle Puckett, Lexington; one son, Phillip Jason Puckett, Jr., Lexington; and one sister, Stephanie Michelle Puckett, Lexington
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, November 15, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Dudley Puckett Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 12:00 Noon until service time at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.

Tristan Tomas Cackling, age 30, of Dry Branch Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021, in Fleming County.
He was born January 16, 1991 in Clark County and was the son of Thomas Cackling and Debra Young. He was an employee at the Recovery Center in Nicholasville and had lived in Estill County most his life.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Wilma Young, Estill County; one daughter, Sophie Scrivner, Estill County; three sons: Braden Cackling, Bentley Cackling, and Karter Cackling, all of Estill County; one sister, Kyra Hatton, Estill County; and one brother, Corey Young, Estill County.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at The Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mikkel Hampton and Coach Lawrence Tiller officiating. Burial was at the Young Cemetery. Visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Corey Young, Chase Hatton, Steve Young, Jager Young, Taylan Arvin and Josh Haught.
Wilma Jean Calmes, 95

Wilma Jean Calmes, age 95, of Windermere, Florida, formerly of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at her home.
Wilma was born on October 7, 1926, in Ravenna, Kentucky to the late Shade and Maude Landrum Combs.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Calmes; and a sister, Helen Eacret.
Wilma was a graduate of Irvine High School. She was employed at the Bluegrass Army Depot for over 20 years until her retirement in 1976.
Survivors include her daughter, Jo Ellen Dawson (John); two grandchildren, Phillip Jason Puckett and Stephanie Puckett; seven great grandchildren, Claudia Holstein, Ayden Baker, Phillip Jason Puckett Jr., Stephanie Puckett, Layla Bland, Isaiah Duty and Izabelle Puckett; a brother-in-law, Howard Calmes; three nieces, Sarah Estes, Judy Adams and Jane Martin Calmes; along with numerous other extended family members to miss her and mourn her passing.
A graveside service for Wilma Jean Calmes was conducted on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky with Brother Paul Groves officiating. The family received friends on Thursday, November 11th from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the Lewis Abner Home for Funerals in Irvine.

Roger Leroy Johnson, age 59, of Winchester Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Irvine Health and Rehabilitation Center, following a short illness.
He was born July 18, 1962 in Dayton, Kentucky, a son of the late Roy C. and Hazel D. Hall Johnson. He had formerly worked in the farming industry had lived in Estill County most of his life. He was a Sons of The American Legion member.
Mr. Johnson is survived by four sisters: Wave Vickers (Don), Alexandria; Sue Orme (JR), Cold Springs; Libby Watson (Ken) and Patty Riddell (Gary), both of Estill County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Johnson; and three brothers:
Lohris, Orval, and Lenville Johnson.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Elwood Patrick with burial following at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, November 8th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Denny Vickers, Tony Orme, Doug Watson, Ricky Abney Jr., Greg Johnson, and Henry Crouch.

Lewis Byron “Bunk” Richardson, age 60, of Barnes Mountain Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at his home following a short illness.
He was born June 6, 1961 in Estill County and was the son of the late Lewis and Gustava Estes Richardson. He was a logger and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Kates Richardson, and is survived by his stepdaughter, Jennifer Dreaden, Estill County; one sister, Sharon Brinegar, Estill County; three brothers: Thomas Richardson, Glenn Richardson, and
James Richardson, all of Estill County; three step-grandchildren: Dustin Street, Jessica Hall and Rodney Dreaden; two step-great grandchildren: Caleb Street and Madilynn Dreaden; three nieces: Katie Jacques, Rachel Richardson and Amber Ballard; and one nephew, Bobby Brinegar.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday, November 7, 2021, 1:30 p.m., at the Estes Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Greenville Estes, Dustin Street, Bobby Brinegar, Randall Hall, Mikey Stevens and Chris Stepp.
The Warren F. Toler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Sara Scott "Scottie" Minor Noland, age 101, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, after a short illness.
She was born in Versailles, Kentucky, on August 17, 1920, the daughter of Cora Corrington Minor and Joseph Timothy Minor.
Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil P. Noland; a son, Joel Noland; and a great grandson, Blake Palmer.
She is survived by her daughters: Susan Dick, Nancy Bidwell and Amy Noland-Hughes (Eddie); and seven grandchildren: Keith Wilson (Becky), Jay Wilson (Stephanie), Matthew Bidwell (Cassie), Luke Hughes, Beth Cocolas (Harry), Julie Noland and Catherine Noland (Dan). She was also blessed with 15 great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren; also, her 91-year-old nephew, Dee Haun and family; her nieces, Carol Calder and Corinne Calder; and a brother-in-law, Wilbur Brewsaugh.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Estill County Board of Education Central Office Gym. The family asks that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing. There will be a private family/friend memorial service at a later date with Bro. Kevin Horn officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Keith Wilson, Jay Wilson, Matthew Bidwell, Taylor Wilson, Chris Horn and Danny Conrad.
Honorary pallbearers are her former principals, Danny Click, Steve Garrett, Robert Smith, Gary Taylor, Marcus Eades, and Bill Beard.

Ralph Eugene Brinegar, age 66, of Pioneer Drive in Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, in Okeechobee, Florida, following a long illness.
He was born October 16, 1955 in Hamilton, Ohio and was the son of the late William H. and Lillie Plowman Brinegar. He was a retired electrician with Eastern Kentucky University and a member of the Kings Tabernacle Church in Richmond. He had lived in Madison County most of his life.
Mr. Brinegar is survived by his wife, Martha Lynn Barker Brinegar; three daughters: Amy Rall, West Carrolton, Ohio; Bethany Cheeks, Paint Lick; and Ladonna King - Richmond; two sons: Daniel Lee Arnold, Greenwood, Indiana; and John Allen Brinegar, Richmond; one sister, Beulah Watkins, Clark County; three brothers: George Brinegar, Ohio; Shirley Brinegar, Richmond; and Ronnie Brinegar; Berea; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 6, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at the Kings Tabernacle Church with Bro. Greg King officiating. Burial was at the Madison Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Church.

Chester Ray Jones, 73

Chester Ray Jones, age 73, of Ravenna, Kentucky, entered into the arms of our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington following a short illness.
Born October 9, 1948, he was a lifelong resident of the Estill County community and a member of the South Irvine Christian Church. He was also a proud Vietnam veteran. Chester loved his family and spent his life caring and providing for them. He enjoyed camping, car shows, hunting and fishing with his family and tending to his honey bee hives. Chester was a simple, humble man who was always known to be offering a helping hand to others, he frequented fundraisers and he was often seen delivering meals to the less fortunate during the holidays. He was a devoted husband, father, and Christian. Chester spoke of his faith in Jesus Christ to everyone he met, every chance he was given.
Chester was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Alma Watkins Jones; his parents, Robert and Ora Barnes Jones; four brothers, Jerry Jones, Anthony Jones, Carl Jones, and Charlie Franklin; and one sister, Beatrice Rogers.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Geneva Jones and her significant other, Jeff Edwards; his brothers-in-law, John Watkins (Sara), Art Watkins (Sue), and Linville Watkins (Eve); his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Estes, Linda Grogan, and Joyce Murphy (Frances); brothers, Danny Jones and Travis Jones; sisters, Jesse Moore and Lisa Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family who will greatly miss him. Chester left behind several fur friends that he dearly loved, Flippy, Midnight, Smokey, Widly, Blackjack, and Lucky.
Visitation for family will be held 5-6 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at Davis and Davis Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton. Friends may visit afterwards, 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Crowe Cemetery.

Rose Lee Tipton Turner, age 91, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the Irvine Health and Rehab Center in Irvine, Kentucky, following a long illness.
She was born February 8, 1930 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Rice Tipton and Elizabeth McIntosh Tipton. She was a homemaker and was a member of the White Oak Church of God. She had lived in Lexington most of her life.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Turner.
She is survived by two sons: Gregory Lee Turner (Cindy) and
Randall Charles Turner (Vickie), both of Lexington; and one grandchild, Sean Lee Turner.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be conducted Monday, November 8, 2021, 12:00 Noon, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Glendon Woosley officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, November 8th from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.

Victoria Burnette Adams, age 74, of Carriage Lane in Georgetown, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at her home following a long illness.
She was born February 12, 1947, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Victor Otis Burnette and Elizabeth Marie Owen Burnette. She was a retired U.S. Bank employee and had lived in Estill County most of her life.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Ross Adams.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Marie Rose (Matt), Scott County; two sons: Benjamin Keith Adams (Erika). Estill County; and Timothy Ross Adams (Tonya), Madison County; one sister, Millie Sue Horn, Estill County; and six grandchildren: Emily Rose, Will Rose, Taylor Adams, Hannah Adams, Kyle Adams, and Kayla Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Venita Chaney; and two brothers, Benjamin David Burnette and Joe Burnette.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, November 5, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Tony White officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held Friday from 11:00 a.m. to service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Will Rose, Kyle Adams, Don Horn, Mark Horn, Greg Horn, and Rick Chaney.
Honorary pallbearer was David Chaney.

Doris D. McGee, age 89, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formerly of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Mrs. McGee was born on January 26, 1932, in Hamilton, Ohio to the late James Willie Daniel and Bessie Flynn Daniel. She was a Head Start teacher for the Kentucky Foothills Preschool System for many years.
Along with her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, James O. McGee; three brothers: Lee Daniels, Gerald Daniels, and Ted Daniels; and one sister, Nina Flynn.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice McGee Horn (James); two grandchildren: Amy Horn Darnell (Jared) and James Darren Horn (Lyndse); along with five great grandchildren: Ellie Grace Darnell, James Travis "J.T" Horn, Keira Jo Horn, Lily Caroline Horn, and Caycee Jane Horn; one brother, Edsel Daniel (Wilma); two sisters: Madonna Clem and Faye Reece (Delvin); and many other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Doris D. McGee will be conducted on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at New Beginning Fellowship Church with Reverend Delvin Reece and Reverend James Horn officiating. Interment will follow in South Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. at the church.
