Johnny Goodwin, age 63, husband of Kitty Sturgill Goodwin, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester.
He was born June 16, 1958 in Clay City, Kentucky to the late Kenneth and Lois Faye Powell Goodwin.
Survivors include his wife, Kitty Goodwin; children, HK Goodwin, Johnathon Jason Goodwin (Loretta), Dale Goodwin (Amanda), Earnest Jay Goodwin (Kayla), Brenda Goodwin Clair (Mitchell), Lois Goodwin Robinson (Ryan), Kendrick Sturgill, Kedrick Sturgill, and Autom Sturgill; brothers, Randy Goodwin and Billy Joe Goodwin; sisters, Louise Hall and Wanda McIntosh; 17 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, 1:00 p.m., by Bro. Anthony Molihan at Davis & Davis Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 8th, 6-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Goodwin Cemetery with HK Goodwin, JJ Goodwin, Dale Goodwin, EJ Goodwin, John Preston Goodwin, Kenneth Goodwin, Oliver Goodwin, and Ryan Robinson serving as pallbearers.
William Gayle Smith, 64

William Gayle Smith, age 64, a resident of the Fountain Circle Care & Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Center.
He was born March 8, 1957, in Winchester and was the son of the late Bobby J. Smith and Reva Dixon Toler. He was a former plumber with Bobby Smith Plumbing and was a member of the Wagersville Community Pentecostal Church of God. He had lived in Clark County all his life.
Mr. Smith is survived by two daughters: Bobbie Gail Smith Flack (Brian), and Heather Ray Smith Wages (Manuel), both of Winchester; one son, William Allen Smith, Mt. Sterling; one sister, Fay Isaacs, Lexington; one brother, Ronnie Smith, Winchester; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, December 6, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Woolwine officiating. Burial was at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Seth Deburlet, Brian Flack, William Smith, William Smith, Jr., Ronald Thomas, Jr. and Kain Rose.
Donald Edward Bradley, 81

Donald Edward Bradley, age 81, of Stanton, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, Kentucky.
Born in Winchester, Kentucky he was the son of the late Dillard Bradley and the late Edna Mae Adams Bradley and a retired employee of Rockwell International. Donald was an avid bass fisherman and a member of Vaughn's Mill First Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Gail Armstrong; a daughter-in-law, Pam Bradley; and two brothers, June Hunt and Roy Grimes.
He is survived by one son, Donald Keith Bradley of Irvine; three daughters: Carla Townsend (David) of Zachariah, Kim Napier (Tommy) and Karen Daniels (Andy), both of Stanton; one brother, Ray Bradley of Winchester; one sister, Robin Durbin (Larry) of Irvine; eight grandchildren: Tommy Ray Napier II, Devin Townsend, Ryan Armstrong, Jordan Gaines, Bradi Flowers, Lexie Adams, Bethany Bradley and Caitlin Futch; great grandchildren, Kyndall, Kamryn, Kylie, Kobe, Karlee, Ravyn, Bash, Waylon, Sawyer, Kashlyn, Grayson and Charleigh; and great, great grandchild, Marli.
Funeral services officiated by Brother James Harold Combs will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 10th at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery with Keith Bradley, Tommy Ray Napier, Tommy Ray Napier II, Devin Townsend, Ryan Armstrong, Jeffrey Willoughby, Andy Daniels, Tim Benningfield and Jordan Gaines serving as active pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are Glenville Townsend, David Townsend, John Brewer, Vaughns Mill First Church of God, Ray Bradley and Denver Wilburn.

Timothy Ray Parker II, age 36, of Family Circle in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his home, following a short illness.
He was born October 15, 1985 in Lexington and was the son of Timothy Ray and Trudy Jean Horn Parker. He was an employee of B3 Archery and attended the Easter Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his father and mother, include his wife, Megan Joy Tipton Parker; his grandparents: Alene Vest of London, Kentucky; and Larry and Bessie Horn of Irvine; one brother, Dustin Parker (Kelsey), Winchester; his in-laws, Sheila and Joseph Fleming, Irvine; a sister-in-law, Whitney Horn (Buddy), Irvine; nephews: Easton Parker, Hayden Ritchie, Kenlee Horn and William Horn; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Vest and Roy and Betty Parker.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 3, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the Easter Valley Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Davis officiating. Burial will be at the Roberts Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 2nd from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m., Friday, at the Church.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Parker, Ricky Hollon, Marty Martin, Thomas Griffin, Buddy Horn, Lance Horn, Tyler Angel and Roger McIntosh.

Charlie Franklin Goodwin, 64

Charlie Franklin Goodwin, age 64, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester.
Born in Clay City, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Vernon Goodwin and the late Nancy Jane Hall Goodwin and a construction employee with Central Rock, Phillips Construction and Red River Hardwoods. He was a fine hunter and fisherman that took good care of his family.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Littie Vance Goodwin; three sons, Charlie Franklin Goodwin II (Valerie), Randolph Vernon Goodwin (Tonya), and Vernon Thomas Goodwin, all of Clay City; one brother, Trigger Barnes of Jeffersonville; three sisters, Ada Meadows of Clay City, Matilda Hamilton of Carlisle, and Zellie Barnes of Jeffersonville; along with four grandchildren, Joshua Spencer, Cole Goodwin, Thomas Goodwin (Shae) and LaShana Goodwin.
Funeral services officiated by Bro. Scott Barnes were held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 29, 2021 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation was Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial was in the Charlie Goodwin and Family Cemetery with Joshua Spencer, Cole Goodwin, Thomas Goodwin, LaShana Goodwin, Charlie Franklin Goodwin II and Vernon Goodwin serving as active pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Holland, Paul Puckett, Brent Holiday, Jon Parido, Steven Potts, Chris Adams, Wayne Bailey and David Hall.

Dock Mason Dunn, 66

Dock Mason Dunn of Campton, Kentucky, departed this life Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 27 days. He was a son of the late Dock Junior and Margie Taylor Dunn born in Campton, Kentucky on April 28, 1955.
Mr. Dunn is survived by one daughter, Ivory Dunn of Campton; four brothers, Michael Dunn of Duluth, Georgia; Eugene Dunn of Campton, Felix Ray Dunn of Irvine, and Johnny Dunn of Campton; one sister, Peggy Ann Dunn of Campbellsville; two very special great-nieces, Sierra Dunn and Danica Klatt; and two special nephews, Jason Dunn and Jacob Dunn.
He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his parents, Dock Junior and Margie Taylor Dunn; and one brother, Emery Dunn.
Serving as pallbearers; Jason Dunn, Jacob Dunn, Carl Gray, Johnny Dunn, Felix R. Dunn and Eugene Dunn.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Porter & Son Funeral Directors, Campton, followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Rose-Swango-Tutt Cemetery, Trace Fork, Wolfe County.

Dorothy Mae Howe, age 86, of Elm Street in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021, at Baptist Health in Lexington, following a long illness.
She was born October 16, 1935 in Estill County and was the daughter of Raymond and Tilda Townsend Cole. She was a former nurse’s aide and was a member of the Irvine First Church of God. She had lived in Estill County most of her life.
Mrs. Howe was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Jackson Howe; and is survived by one daughter, Catherine Sue Puckett, Irvine; two sons: Gregory Scott Browning, Stanton; and Christopher Andrew Browning, Monterey, California; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Emery Darrell Browning; one sister, Ruby Hall; and six brothers, Hargis, Marcus, Junior, Victor, Joe and Delmar Cole.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at the Cole Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday, November 30th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Kelby Browning, Jeff Cole, Richard Cole, Connor Jones, Jon Hull and Kevin Hardy.

Ruby Marie Brooks, age 83, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling.
She was born July 8, 1938 in Jackson, Kentucky, to Rosco and Vena Newton. She was a housewife and a member of the Means Church.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband, Lemon Brooks of Mt. Sterling; two sons: Lemon Wayne Brooks (Evelyn) of Irvine, and Ricky Brooks (Tina) of Mt. Sterling; four daughters: Theresa Roe (William) of Wellington; Judy Patrick (Rick), Pamela Centers (Mark), and Tena Martin, all of Mt. Sterling; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Rogers; a grandson, Brandon Rogers; and four brothers: David Napier, Ronald Creech, Ruben Newton and Ray Creech.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City with Bro. Tommy Evans officiating. Friends may visit Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. 'till time of the service. Burial will be in the Lovely Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Kimberly Kay Estes Weaver, age 57, of Richwood Blvd. in Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, following a long illness.
She was born May 7, 1964 in Irvine and was the daughter of Jerry and Norma Fay Puckett Estes. She was a former engineer with the Bluegrass Army Depot and a past member of the River Drive Christian Church. She had lived in Madison County most of her life.
Kimberly is survived by her parents, Jerry and Norma Estes, Irvine; her daughter, Chelsey Morgan Weaver, Richmond; and her fiancé, Jimmy Hacker, Richmond.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 29, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Groves officiating. Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Clayton Horn, 77

Clayton Horn, 77, of Berea, Kentucky, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital Berea.
He was a resident of Madison County for over 30 years, born March 7, 1944 in Estill County, a son of the late George Washington Horn and Ida Mae Murphy Horn. Clayton was a United States Marine Corps veteran and former Blue Grass Army Depot employee. He was a member of American Legion and played country/western music in a band.
In addition to his parents, Clayton is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Linda Stokley Horn; a son, Skip Horn; siblings Jr, Elden, Gennett, and Betty.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Horn; a son, Garry Horn; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two brothers, Preston Horn Sr. and Jesse Horn; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
In accordance with Clayton’s wishes, he was cremated. Graveside service were held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at West Irvine Cemetery.

Adam Shane Haggard, 45, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at his home.
A native of Winchester, Kentucky, he was born on April 14, 1976, to Belvin Lee Haggard and Joy K. Shelley. Adam was a masonry worker.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four daughters, Jessica Haggard, Samantha Haynes, both of Sevierville, Tennessee; Melonie and Megan Haggard, both of Irvine; three grandchildren; a sister, Casey Raney (Robert); an aunt, Linda Anes; and several extended family members including Sabrina Elam; and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2021 by Dr. Ed Mesta at Winchester Cemetery's White Shelter.

Danny McIntosh, age 74, of Little Rock Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at his home following a short illness.
He was born October 12, 1947 in Estill County and was the son of Roy and Helen Rice McIntosh. He was a retired Square D employee and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. McIntosh is survived by his wife, Wanda Sue Babb McIntosh; one daughter, Donna Faye Cockrell, Estill County; one son, Boone Raydan McIntosh, Estill County; two sisters: Joyce Ann Rawlins McIntosh and Sandra McKinney, both of Estill County; two brothers: Roy McIntosh, Madison County; and Sammy McIntosh, Estill County; two grandchildren: Barry Vires and Nicholas Vires; and one great grandchild, Kenleigh Vires.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Danny Ray McIntosh; and four siblings, Dorothy Garrett, Bobby McIntosh, Nathan McIntosh and Kenneth Ray McIntosh.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marvin Neal officiating. Burial was at the Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Della Ann Brakefield, age 81, of Poplar Street in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
She was born November 22, 1940 in Champaign County, Ohio and was the daughter of the late William and Mildred Nichols McKeever. She was a homemaker who had also worked part-time at Cracker Barrel, Outback, the Estill County School System and the Senior Citizens Center. She attended the Williams Memorial Baptist Church and was a former member of the Ravenna Methodist Church.
Mrs. Brakefield was preceded in death by her husband, Bolan Almond Brakefield; and is survived by her son, William Brakefield, Estill County; three stepchildren: Kathy Harrison, Kenny Brakefield, both of Estill County; and Tommy Brakefield, Powell County; one brother, Jerry McKeever, Ohio; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two stepsons, Bolan Brakefield, Jr. and Paul Brakefield; and two brothers, John and James McKeever.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 27, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Rogers officiating. Burial was at the Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
