Sadie Lee Haggard, 76, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Richard Haggard, Jr. She was born on February 3, 1945, to the late Ed and Ruby Sexton.
Survivors include six children, Richard “Dale” and Debbie Haggard, Donna and Terry Stanfield, Jimmy and Janie Haggard, Vickie Lee, Mitchell and Connie Haggard, Victor and Sheldon Haggard; four sisters, Coro Lou, Barbara Ann, Dice Ellen, and Paulette; four brothers, Billy Ray, Van, Jack, and Henry Sexton; 12 grandchildren, Kyle, Roger Allen, Joshua, Stephene, Scott, Kendra, Leanne, Tabitha, Don, Richard, Jamie, and Anthony Haggard; 22 great grandchildren – one that she raised from a baby, Dustin Ferguson; and one great, great grandchild.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Scobee Funeral Home, 219 West Lexington Avenue, Winchester, by Dr. Todd Rader. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Haggard, Anthony Haggard, Dustin Ferguson, Richard Lee, Don Lee, and Roger Allen Barnes.

Dubois Gay “Tommy” Reeves, age 71, of Doe Creek Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Berea.
He was born May 17, 1950 in Estill County and was the son of the late Henry Dubois and Norma Jean Arvin Reeves. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot and was a member of the VFW.
Mr. Reeves had lived in Estill County all his life and is survived by his wife, Rose Fulcher Reeves; one daughter, Tonya Adams (Tim), Richmond; one son, Scott Reeves (Teressa), Irvine; one stepson, Harold Durham, Jr. (Ronda); one brother, Henry Glen Reeves of Richmond; and three grandchildren: Ethan Reeves, Jaycee Hail and Bailey Durham.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepdaughter, Vicki Tipton; his twin sister, Lois Fay “Susie” Barnes; and one grandchild, Amber Hail.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Rogers officiating. Burial will be at the Scrivner Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Ima Jean Flynn, age 88, of Glenmeade Road in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Baptist Health in Louisville following a long illness.
She was born October 14, 1933 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Jake and Fannie Roberts Tipton. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Buechel Park Baptist Church.
Mrs. Flynn was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Glendon Flynn, and is survived by three daughters: Freeda Jean Flynn, Susan Gail Ross (Steve) both of Cincinnati; and Joy Flynn (Jim Bugay) of Lexington; a son, Roy Flynn (Patrice) of Finchville, Shelby County, Kentucky; five grandchildren: April Flynn, Paul Leightty, Christopher Ross, Meredith Ross and Zachary Flynn; and one great grandchild, Beckett Ross.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Glen Flynn; her sister, Christine Arvin; and her brother, Jake Tipton, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 1, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Chaney officiating. Burial will be at the Roberts Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Grace A. “Gracie” Sandlin, age 98, of Hamilton, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
She was born on January 12, 1924 in Estill County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Beverly and Lillie Barker Alcorn. On August 5, 1950 in Newport, Kentucky, Gracie married her husband of 71 years, Floyd Sandlin. She was a member of Timberhill Baptist Church for 22 years, enjoyed quilting, and loved her nieces, nephews, and church family very much.
Gracie is survived by her beloved husband, Floyd; numerous nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Daphne Alcorn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Matt Alcorn (Lula), Clark Alcorn (Desi), Mitchell Alcorn (Karen), Henry Alcorn (Gracie), Earl Alcorn, Sherman Alcorn (Blanche), Wilse Alcorn (Bettye), Sarah Chaney (Wilson), and Miranda Alcorn.
A special thank you to Pastor Scott and Jodi Miller for their love, friendship, and guidance over the years, and to the special people who cared for Gracie in the last weeks of her life.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Timberhill Baptist Church, 144 Timber Hill Drive, Hamilton, OH 45013. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the church with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gracie’s name to Timberhill Baptist Church.

Judy Carol Begley Hobbs, age 68, of McKee, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Marcum Wallace Memorial Hospital in Irvine, Kentucky.
Mrs. Hobbs was born on February 11, 1953, in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Jewell Powell Begley and Clyde Begley. Judy was a member of the Irvine 1st Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her father, Judy is survived by her loving husband, Danny Hobbs; a son, Nathaniel Hobbs (Nicole); one brother, Tony Begley (Terri); three grandchildren, Cameron McAlpin, Hudson Luke Hobbs, and Henley Grace Hobbs; two nieces, Angie Bowman (Jon) and Tonya Robertson (Gary); one great nephew, Ayden Collins; as well as many other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Judy Carol Begley Hobbs will be conducted on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lewis Home for Funerals chapel with Brother Clint Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in the West Irvine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Don Ray Moses, age 58, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at his home.
He was born on April 9, 1963, in Oxford, Ohio to the late Don Ray Moses Sr. and Janice Woosley Reynolds. He was a member of Panola Baptist Church and a retired brick mason. Even though he was born in Ohio, he had called Irvine home for over 40 years.
In addition to his father, Mr. Moses was preceded in death by his stepfather, James L. Reynolds; his sister, Teresa Francisco; a brother-in-law, Ron Profitt; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Reynolds.
Survivors include his mother, Janice Woosley Reynolds; his loving wife, Mildred VonEtta Buckland Moses; four daughters, Lori Buckland Woosley (Christopher), Mabel Barnes Carter (Ryan), Bobby Sue Barnes Harris (James), and Natisha Barnes Reynolds; one brother, Doug Reynolds; four sisters, Ruth Profit, Pam Stone (Jerry), Teresa Reynolds (Jimmy) and Cherish Reynolds; ten grandchildren; and his special little dog, Blackie, as well as many other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Don Ray Moses will be conducted on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Marvin Neal officiating. Interment will follow in the Reynolds Family Cemetery in Irvine. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mable Tipton, age 79, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at her residence.
She was born in Vicco, Perry County, Kentucky on April 22, 1942 to Green Russell and Edna Davis. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Irvine Apostolic Church.
Mrs. Tipton is survived by a son, James Tipton Jr. of Irvine; two daughters: Tammy Leftridge of Shelbyville, and Lynn McKinney (Johnney) of Irvine; four grandchildren, including a special grandson, Dustin Gibson; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Green and Edna Davis; her husband, James Tipton; and four brothers: Howard Davis, Roosevelt Davis, Floyd Davis and Parice Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine with Bro. Ivan Smith officiating. Friends may visit Sunday from 10:00 a.m. till time of the service. Burial will follow in the McKinney Cemetery in Irvine.

William “Pidge” Tipton, age 82, of Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital in Irvine.
He was born in Irvine, January 3, 1940 to Holbert and Betsy Chaney Tipton. He was a member of the Irvine First Church of God and retired from the Irvine Municipal Utilities where he worked for 34 years.
Mr. Tipton is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Tipton of Ravenna; two sons: Paul Tipton (Tammy) of Ravenna, and Keith Tipton (Robin) of Irvine; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a brother, Glenwood Tipton (Bertha) of Irvine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Holbert and Betsy Tipton; five brothers: Berlin Tipton, Raymond Tipton, Bea Tipton, James Tipton, and Eugene Tipton; and three sisters: Fern Tipton, Christine Deurbin and Estine Estes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Grayson Funeral Chapel in Irvine with Bro. Larry Frymer officiating. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 a.m. till time of the service. Burial will follow in the West Irvine Cemetery.

Bradley Forest Tipton, age 78, of Elm Street in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
He was born March 29, 1943, in Estill County and was the son of the late Pearl and Clara Biddie Barnes Tipton. He was a United States Army veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was member of the Stafford and Irvine Masonic Lodges. He was a former employee of the Bluegrass Army Depot and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Tipton is survived by his wife, Sheila Christy Tipton of Ravenna; one daughter, Crissy Bingham (Justin) of Irvine; one son, James Bradley Tipton of Estill County; one brother, Paul Tipton of Madison County; two sisters-in-law: Sheryl Tipton and Christine Tipton; a brother-in-law, Johnnie Ballard; three grandchildren: Chase Anthony Tipton, Vance Bingham, and Paxton Bingham; and one great grandchild, Ryker Chase Tipton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Dorothy Ballard, Donna Pack, Mikey McKie, Louise McIntosh, Peanut Watson and Golden Johnson; and three brothers, Manuel Tipton, Melvin Tipton and Neal Tipton.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 30, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Frymyer officiating. Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 29th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

William Forest Estes, 84

William Forest Estes, husband of Shirley Arvin Estes of Waco, Kentucky and the son of the late Dorothy Estes Young was born in Estill County, Kentucky on April 1, 1937 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 23 days. He was a member of the Pine Crest First Church of God, a skilled carpenter, as well as a member of the Proctor #213 Masonic Lodge and a 32nd Degree Shriner in Lexington, Kentucky.
In addition to his wife, Shirley, Mr. Estes is survived by his two children, Sharon Kaye Estes of Waco, Kentucky; and Dickie Estes (Sheila) of Beattyville; two granddaughters, Amanda Sommer (Andrew) of Berea, and Erica Estes of Beattyville; three great grandchildren, Noah William, Conner Matthew, and Alex Sommer, all of Berea; two sisters; five brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Estes was preceded in death by two brothers.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Mary Pearson, age 76 of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Kenwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Irvine October 1, 1945. She was an artist and of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Pearson is survived by her husband of 58 years, Willard Pearson of Richmond; three sons: Tony Pearson, Will Pearson, both of Richmond; and Dr. Joseph Pearson (Erica) of Cannon, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Kieran Pearson, Isaac Pearson, Cora Pearson, Adeleine Pearson, and Angela Gray, a great grandchild, Kaisley Jones; a brother, Charles Richardson; and a sister, Catherine Richardson.
She was preceded by three brothers: Nelson Richardson, Glenn Richardson and James White.
Visitation for Mary was held Friday, January 21, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grayson Funeral Home in Irvine, followed by a 1:30 p.m. graveside service at the Richmond Cemetery.

Jeffrey Lee McKinney, age 36, of Big Springs School Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at his home following a sudden illness.
He was born February 9, 1985 in Madison County and was the son of Della Neal McKinney and the late Delay McKinney. He was a former employee of Meade’s Do-It Center and formerly attended the Easter Valley Baptist Church.
Mr. McKinney is survived by his mother, Della Neal McKinney of Irvine; one brother, Grover McKinney of Irvine; one half-brother, Chris McKinney of Irvine; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was born September 9, 1941 in Estill County and was the son of the late Millard and Myrtle Short Mansfield. He had lived in Estill County most of his life and is survived by one brother, Melvin Mansfield of Madison County; a special niece, Vickie Wood; a special great niece, Jessica Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, May Richardson, Pearl Freeman, Mildred Wood, and Alsie Merritt; and four brothers, Clyde, Earl, Clarence and Gene Mansfield.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, January 28, 2022, 12:00 Noon, at the Johnny Richardson Cemetery with Bro. Ronald Lutes officiating.

Anita Louise Marcum, age 56, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.
She was born May 7, 1965 in Irvine to Herbert and Marie Dixon Hobbs.
Anita is survived by two brothers: Ricky Hobbs of Irvine, and James Hobbs of Ravenna; and three sisters: Cheryl Embs of Ravenna, Janice Flynn of Irvine and Mildred Moore of Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Marie Dixon Hobbs; and a brother, Doug Hobbs.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Irvine. Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. till time of the service at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be in the Russell Flats Cemetery in Jackson County.

Arthur Paul Flynn, age 88, the husband of Betty Sue Farmer Flynn, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, January 18, 2022.
Paul was born on May 15, 1933, in Irvine, Kentucky, the son of the late Harry and Louise Long Flynn. He lived several years in California before returning home. He was a United Staes Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Paul was a retired contract sales manager for Lowes and was a member of The Flatwoods Christian Church. Paul was also a member of the Richmond Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters: Margaret Fitzpatrick and Marrianne Solnina (Stanley); one son, Michael Flynn (Lela); two step-sons: Greg Farmer and Bruce Farmer; one brother, Alton Flynn (Ruth Ann); one sister: Irene Flynn Dennis Lutes; a son-in-law: Bill Friend; a daughter-in-law, Candy Flynn; ten grandchildren: Matthew Black, Hudson Flynn, Delaney Flynn (Samantha), Patrick Flynn (Bridgett), Amanda Roy (Steve), Adison Flynn, Aaron Flynn (Madeline), Abby Brineger (Branden), Alex Slonina (Hannah) and Branden Slonina; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jennie Bell Flynn Weis; three brothers: Ralph Flynn, Nelson Flynn, and Harry Flynn Jr.; as well as the mother of his children, Diane Flynn Phillips.
A memorial service remembering the life of Arthur Paul Flynn will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Jones officiating. The family will receive visitors beginning at 3:00 p.m., Saturday afternoon at the funeral home.

Corrine Neal Cole, 88, widow of James Edward Cole, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her home.
She was born March 12, 1933 in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Hobert and Willie Mae Snowden Neal.
Survivors include three sons, James Ray Cole, Michael Cole, and Thomas Cole; four daughters, Joyce Hodges, Wanda Compton, Alice O'Hair, and Phyllis Hoskins; two sisters, Caroline Stacy and Debra Claires; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; two daughters, Sharon Powell and Debbie Rardin; a brother, Midleon "Skeeter" Neal; and three sisters, Mildred Snowden, Coleen Muncie, and Anita Faye Brieneger.

Gary Arnold “Bud” Cornett, age 69, of Glass Pike in Stamping Ground, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Baptist Health in Lexington following a short illness.
He was born November 13, 1952 in Letcher County and was the son of the late Cleo and Josephine Halcomb Cornett. He retired after working as an engineer for 37 years at IBM.
Mr. Cornett is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kaye Horn Cornett; three sons: Tyler Clay Cornett (Kate) of Campbell County; Phillip Treadway (Carrie) and Craig Morgan (Olivia), both of Estill County; eight grandchildren: Kaley Treadway, Dakota Morgan, Lydia Morgan, Reinhold Cornett, Kairi Deming, Kendall Deming, Ryan Freeman and Kayden Freeman; and one great grandchild, Ashlyn Bailey.

He was born October 29, 1946 in Estill County and was the son of the late Jimmy and Lucy Powell Neal. He was retired from Bundy Tubing and was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Fitchburg.
Mr. Neal was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Wilson Neal; and is survived by one daughter, Sonja Deonia Neal of Irvine; two sons: Wayne Wilson Neal (Caren Sue) and Fairley Holden “Charlie” Neal, Jr. (Jennifer Rena Sparks) both of Irvine; one sister, Yvonne Draggoo - Irvine; three brothers: Steven Douglas Neal, Jack Neal, both of Irvine; and Robert Neal of Clay City; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Randall Neal; and one brother, Walter Neal.

Sue Ann Kelly, age 45, wife of Joseph E. Kelly, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at her residence in Irvine, Kentucky.
Born in Irvine, she was the daughter of Ernie Henry of Ravenna, and the late Susie Hunt Henry. Sue Ann was an E.M.T who was affiliated with the Powell County E.M.S. and the Estill County E.M.S. She also served as a dispatcher with both Powell County and Estill County. Sue Ann also was a volunteer firefighter with the Irvine Fire Department. She was a very caring person who would do whatever she could to help anybody.
Along with her husband and father, Sue Ann is survived by her son, Joseph Matthew Kelly of Irvine; her daughter, Jenna Michelle Kelly of Irvine; a brother, Robert Dale Henry (Gracie) of Ravenna; and two nieces: Haley Henry and Carley Henry.
Funeral services officiated by Bro. Jerry Rose were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation was held on Monday, as well, from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial was in the Oakdale Cemetery in Irvine with Daniel Potter, Ricky Williams, Jeremiah Williams, Donovan Crabtree, Ian Morton and Andrew Green serving as active pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Powell County EMS, Estill County EMS, Stanton Fire Dept., and the Irvine Fire Dept.
Kenny Selbert Tuttle, 85

Kenny Selbert Tuttle, age 85, of Dry Ridge Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
He was born April 1, 1936 in Madison County and was the son of the late Johnny and Naomi Johnson Tuttle. He was a retired IBM employee and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Tuttle is survived by his son, Keith Tuttle of Irvine; five grandchildren: Scotty Craise, Jordan Tuttle, Lindsey Tuttle, Tabitha Brickley and Shelby Alhussain; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Sue Tuttle; and his sister, Ruby Richardson.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, January 24, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Mike Johnson, Lloyd Macy, Keith Tuttle, Jordan Tuttle, Scotty Craise, Jim Ballou.

Elmer David Puckett, age 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2022.
He was born on June 20, 1954 in Clark County, Kentucky, to the late Elmer Bernard "Rube" Puckett and Beulah Watson Puckett.
Mr. Puckett is survived by his sons: Eric Puckett (Angelia) and Mark Puckett (Hanna); a daughter, Christie Banks (Caywood), all of Winchester; his grandchildren: Erica, Ashton, Abigail, Peyton, Walker and Sheperd Puckett; and Andrew and Kobie Banks; and a great grandson, Waylon Rose.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jerrod Grant Puckett.
His wishes were to be cremated.
A celebration of Elmer’s life will be announced at a later date.

Elmer “Stoney’ Stone, 80, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
Stoney was the widower of Judith Wiseman Stone. He was born in Estill County, Kentucky to the late Lawrence Stone and Myrtle Stone Ferrell.
Private burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Joann Walker Drake, age 86, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.
Born on June 3, 1935, in Walkertown, Perry County, Kentucky to the late Wayne and Lillie Bell Walker, Mrs. Drake was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her first husband, Noah Crase; and her second husband, Otto Drake; one daughter, Rebecca Jo Drake; three brothers, Arliss, Clyde and John Walker; one sister, Betty Walker; and a daughter-in-law, Regina Crase.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Kay Drake; two sons, Zachary Drake (Linda) and Derek Crase (Lilia Hull); one sister, Irene Shultz; eight grandchildren, David Hunt, Jimmy Crase (Stacey), Matthew Crase (Christy), Heather Rose, Larry Jr. Norton, Sherry Carasco, Pamela Parsons, and John Luster; eight great grandchildren, Colin and Morgan Crase; Kirstin Joann Sky Rose, Dalton and Kylie Trimble; Natalie and Landon Norton; and Abigail Crase; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Joann Walker Drake will be conducted on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lewis Home for Funerals chapel with Pastor Todd Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private internment service will be held later.

Vonda Kaye Lowe, age 55, wife of Todd Lowe, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, Kentucky.
She was born May 26, 1966 in Campton, Kentucky to the late Albert and Bonnie Shimfessel Townsend.
Survivors include her husband, Todd Lowe; a son, Mason Richard Lowe; a daughter, Madison Kaite Lowe; and a brother, Roger Townsend (Ella).
Services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at Davis & Davis Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation will be on Friday, January 21st, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cobb Hill Cemetery.

Josephine M. Roberts, age 91, of Sandhill Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at her home following a long illness.
She was born October 15, 1930 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Ruben I. McIntosh and Nettie Lanald McIntosh Ballard. She was retired from the military and federal civil service. She served three years active duty in the United States Marine Corps and 18 years in the Army Reserve.
Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Gene Roberts; and is survived by one daughter, Judith Gale Kendall of Irvine; three sons: Michael Dale Collins, Robert Hale Collins, both of Irvine; and Harold Ivans Collins of Mount Washington; one sister, Lydia Ann Arvin of Irvine; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Emmie Swisher; and three brothers, Armester McIntosh, Elmer Gene McIntosh and Samuel Ballard.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 22, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 until service time at 1:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Ft. Knox on February 15th.

Thomas Hymer, age 91, of Sandhill Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born May 18, 1930 in Estill County and was the son of the late Millard and Bessie Hisle Hymer. He was an avid fox hunter, a retired farmer and former road foreman for the Estill County Road Department. He had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Mr. Hymer is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Lou Barker Hymer; three sons: Roger Lynn Hymer (Maggie) of Ashland;
Terry Lee Hymer (Shell), Irvine; and Darrell Thomas Hymer (Beth) of Texas; four grandchildren: Matthew Hymer, Josh Hymer, Blake Hymer (Kate) and Amanda Moore (David); and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Leona Bicknell; and a brother, Orville Hymer.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, January 21, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Rose officiating. Burial was at the Finney Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday from 11:00 until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Rodney L. Clem, Sr., age 93, husband of Fay Walden Clem, passed away January 15, 2022, at his home.
He was born on March 13, 1928, in Estill County, Kentucky, to the late Levi and Carrie Clem. He was a founding member of Hill Street Pentecostal Church of God. He was also a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and a minister for 70 years.
Mr. Clem is survived by his wife; four children, Donnie Clem (Brenda), Rodney L. Clem, Jr., Sue Frascona, and Linda Johnson (Mike); five stepchildren, Gail Worley (Wayne), Jean Johns, Gary Barnett, James Barnett, Greg Gatson (Jenny Lou); sixteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a caregiver, Melissa Hollins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters, and his stepmother, Viola Clem.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at Hill Street Pentecostal Church of God, 308 Hill Street, Winchester. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22nd at the church by Gene Johns and Carl Martin. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Johns, Josh Johns, Berl Ashley, James Crabtree, David Little, and Matthew Conners.

Johnnie Lee Patrick, II, age 46, of Sycamore Street in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, in El Paso, Texas.
He was born January 2, 1976 in Estill County and was the son of Johnnie Lee Patrick and Shirley Rawlins Milby. He served in the Kentucky National Guard for over 20 years and attended the Williams Memorial Baptist Church. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Patrick is survived by his wife, Jackie Lynn Bowling Patrick; two sons: Ryan Alan Patrick of Madison County; and
Alexander Matthew Patrick of Estill County; his father, Johnnie Lee Patrick (Mary Abney Patrick); his mother, Shirley Rawlins Milby; two sisters: Amanda Patrick of Fayette County; and Hannah Patrick of Jessamine County; and one brother, Robert Patrick of Madison County.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jackson Lee Patrick.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 23, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 22nd from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Andy Beshear has ordered flags at all state buildings to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset, Sunday, January 23, 2022, in honor of Kentucky National Guard soldier Johnnie Lee Patrick, II, who died Monday, January 10, 2022, in El Paso, Texas.
Sgt. 1st Class Johnnie Lee Patrick II died while serving on active duty as part of the Southwest Border Mission and will be interred Sunday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Estill County. Patrick served in the Kentucky National Guard for more than 20 years and was a member of the 207th Engineer Company out of Jackson, Kentucky.
