Jessica Dawn Moses, 40

Jessica Dawn Moses, age 40, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Baptist Health Care of Richmond, Kentucky.
Jessica was born on August 13, 1981, in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Danny Hensley and Teresa L. Moses.
Along with her parents, Jessica is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jim Reynolds; two uncles, Ray Moses and Ron Profitt; and one aunt, Debbie Reynolds.
Although Jessica’s death was unexpected, and ruled a heart attack, she struggled with drug addiction for many years. But Jessica had a good compassionate heart and made the decision to become an organ donor. Through her death she was able to donate four of her organs to Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates, (KODA). Jessica gave the gift of a second chance at life to four other people. Although our family is grieving, four other families are rejoicing! For this, I am proud of my niece, Jessica Dawn Moses. C.S. Lewis once stated, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” Thank you, Jessica, for ending well.
Survivors include her children, two sons, Austin Kidd and wife Codi Carroll of Berea, Josiah Moses of Irvine, and one daughter, Cheyenne Kidd of Berea; one grandson, Talon Kidd; two sisters, Heather Estes and Michelle Osborne and husband Tim, all of Irvine, Kentucky; and her grandmother, Janice Reynolds.
Graveside funeral services for Jessica Dawn Moses will be conducted on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Reynolds Family Cemetery in Irvine. Brother John Abner will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Austin Kidd, Tim Osborne, Trinity Osborne, Jerry Stone, Jeff and Joe Woosley.

Anthony Allen Woosley, age 51, of Wisemantown Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 6, 1971 in Winchester and was the son of Hallie Hall Woosley and the late J.D. Woosley. He was a construction worker and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Mr. Woosley is survived by his mother, Hallie Hall Woosley of Irvine; two sisters: Judy Carol Stone and Dawn Marie Noland, both of Irvine; two brothers: Gary Joe Woosley (Rhonda) and Lewis D. Woosley, both of Irvine; his fiancée, Fonda Roberts of Irvine; several special nieces and nephews: Steven Woosley, Paul David Woosley, Heather Carole Lynch, Jay Paul Rawlins, Shawn Scott Woosley, Amber Lee Crouch, Kenneth Joe Woosley, Larissa Sheree Woosley, Leshia Marie Taylor, Christopher L. Stone and Nicole D. Stone; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Paul Edward Woosley; and his niece, Karen Woosley.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 13, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Chester Arthur Spicer, 83

Chester Arthur Spicer, age 83, of Rice Station Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Hospital following a long illness.
He was born September 17, 1938, in Estill County and was the son of the late Chester Arthur Spicer, Sr. and Brucie Pearl Flynn Spicer. He was a retired employee of IBM and a member of the Ravenna Church of God. He had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Mr. Spicer is survived by his wife, Joyce Richardson Spicer; one daughter, Jayne Spicer Crawford of Estill County; one son, Paul Spicer (Lesa), Boyd County; one sister, Wanda Robbins of Florida; three grandchildren: Joe Crawford (Becky), Elizabeth Crawford Richardson (Jeremy), and Ben Spicer; five great grandchildren: Camble Crawford, Teagan Crawford, Abbie Richardson, Nathan Richardson and Zach Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Gloria Faye Wiseman; and his brother, William “Bud” Spicer.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022, 7:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Estill Development Alliance, the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corporation or the Salvation Army.

Maggie Lee Brinegar, age 86, of Wallace Circle in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Maysville Nursing and Rehab after a long illness.
She was born March 31, 1936 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mattie Gross Gray. She was a homemaker and attended the Ravenna Church of God. She had lived in Estill County most her life.
Mrs. Brinegar was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Brinegar, and is survived by four daughters: Loevia Brinegar of Estill County; Barbara Jean Byrd (Larry) of Montgomery County;
Evelena Durbin (Marion) of Peebles, Ohio; and Charlotte Lee Hawkins (Brian) of Blanchester, Ohio; one son, William Glenn Brinegar (Donna) of Estill County; one sister, Lillie Hoover of Estill County; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Sue Brinegar; one son, Russel Brinegar Jr. and ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 14, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Chaney officiating, followed by cremation. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to service time at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Vinson Thomas Rogers, age 78, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Kentucky.
He was born July 28, 1943 at Rogers Chapel, Powell County, Kentucky to the late George Otis and Hildreth Spencer Rogers. Survivors include one son, Vinson Kevin Rogers (Jessica); three daughters, Rebecca Gross, Rhonda Crowe (Wayne), and Tina Rogers; seven brothers, James Rogers (Charlene), Cebert Rogers (Jane), Carlos Rogers (Linda), Eldon Rogers, Goble Rogers (Carol), Mike Rogers (Kathy), and Ray Rogers (Carolyn); one sister, Nannie Moreland (Randolph); two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Rogers and Ava Rogers; and grandchildren, Katelyn Marie, Chad, Christina, Ricky, James, Robbie, Timothy, Elizabeth, Brandy, Jessica, James, Emily, and Jason.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Edward Rogers, Raven Rogers, and Kendal Rogers; two sons, Timothy Lee Rogers and Robert Jason Rogers; and a grandson, Brandon Caudill.
Services will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Roadside Mission, 4085 Furnace Junction, Ravenna by Bro. Ben Liston and Jim Hall. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Rogers Chapel Cemetery.

Sue D. Sparks, 96

Sue D. Sparks, age 96, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Baptist Health Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
Born on September 3, 1925, in Irvine, Kentucky, Mrs. Sparks was the daughter of the late Brack and Eva Albright Durham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Sparks; three brothers, Colonel Owen R. Durham, James A. Durham, and William J. Durham; and two sisters, Jessamine Weldon LeMaster and Kathleen Franklin.
Sue was a lifelong member of the Ravenna Christian Church. She ran the church food bank for many years and was the main cook for many years. Sue was, by her own admission, the “biggest yellow dog Democrat in Estill County.” She was the caretaker of Oakdale Cemetery for many years as well as a Kentucky Colonel. Sue was a lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She served as a poll worker and was, for many years, a member of the Estill County Democratic Committee. Sue was an avid U.K. Basketball fan. Above all else she was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
Survivors include, two daughters, Mary "Mimi" Tucker (William C.) of Irvine; and Kathleen Finney (Robert L.) of Dayton, Ohio; six grandchildren, William Cole "Budd" Tucker (Tammy), Kenneth Lynn Tucker (Mickey), Elizabeth Kathleen “Katie” Ferrell (Robbie), Kimberly Kaye Finney, Robert Finney Jr., and Brack Edward Finney; ten great grandchildren, Whitney Young, Boone Tucker, Emily Ferrell, Dean Tucker, Cole Ferrell, Dakota Finney, Brackston Finney, Taylor Finney, Mateo Modinger, and Emery Finney; along with a very special friend, Leah Wiseman; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Sue D. Sparks will be conducted on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Ravenna Christian Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tony White and Rev. Jim Baughman officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
Her grandchildren, Budd, Kenny, Katie, Kim, Rob, and Brack; along with Ola Estes Jr., will serve as pallbearers.
Glenwood “Woody” Tipton, 78

Glenwood “Woody” Tipton, age 78, of Laurel Street in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, at his home.
He was born July 27, 1943, in Irvine, and was the son of the late Hobert and Bessie Chaney Tipton. He was a councilman for the City of Irvine, a member of the Stafford Masonic Lodge, and retired from Irvine Municipal Utilities. He had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Mr. Tipton is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Bertha Louise Powell Tipton; three sons: Michael Glenn Tipton (Lisa), Robert Wayne Muncie (Krissy), and Michael Scott Muncie (Kristi); seven grandchildren: Tara Tipton, McKeely Muncie, Chase Muncie, Molly Tipton, Maci Muncie, Lexi Muncie, and Preslee Muncie; three great grandchildren: Tristan Estes, Layla Raines and Luxton Zerhusan; one great, great grandchild, Alexander Estes; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Berlin, Pidge, Raymond, Bea, James and Eugene Tipton; and three sisters, Fern Tipton, Christine Durbin and Estine Estes.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 11, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Weldon officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Frances Lee Rogers, age 70, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Irvine.
Frances was born in Irvine, Kentucky on August 3, 1951, to the late Thomas G. and Della Mae Patrick Watson. She was a member of the Cobb Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Robert J. Rogers (Joanie) of Sparta, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Rebecca, Katherine and Owen Rogers; three brothers, Ken Watson (Elizabeth) of Irvine, Ben Watson (Lynn) of Stanford, and Wendell Watson of Irvine; two sisters, Elaine Horn (Dillard) of Irvine, and Annette Griggs (Tim) of Corbin; along with many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Ms. Rogers' wishes were to be cremated and have no formal services.

Denver Ray Cole, age 76, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life at his home on Friday, April 8, 2022.
Born in Irvine, on April 8, 1946, to the late Ruggles D. and Drucilla LeMaster Cole, Denver worked for many years for the Irvine Municipal Utilities Company.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cole is preceded in death by one brother, Bobby LeMaster; and one sister, Virginia Samples.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa J. Cox (Clarissa) of Irvine, and Susie Officer (Steven) of Ravenna; one granddaughter, Skylar Clements along with a very special friend, Cathy Cole of Irvine; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Denver Ray Cole will be conducted on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals with Bro. Sherl Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Janet Ruth Durbin Mays, wife of Wallace Mays and daughter of the late Glenford and Ethel Rogers Mays was born in Lee County, Kentucky on January 18, 1943 and departed this life at her home at Sand Gap in Lee County on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 19 days. She worked for many years at the Cathedral Domain Camp and Conference Center.
In addition to her husband, Janet leaves behind three children, Glenn Mays, Ronald Mays and special daughter Essie, and Chastity Fox and special son Ben, all of Beattyville; four grandchildren, Derek Mays, Matilyn, Tyler and Tucker Fox; one sister and one brother, Rita Durbin of Beattyville and Larry Durbin of Irvine, Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and one sister.
Lindsey Clinton "Lin" Walling, 78

Lindsey Clinton "Lin" Walling, age 78, of Chumuckla, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022.
Lin was a native of Cow Creek, Ravenna, Estill County, Kentucky, and graduated from Estill County High School. He was the youngest of four children born, November 14, 1943 to the late William and Evalena Keith Walling. Throughout life, Lin was a jack of all trades, and he loved any time that he could go fishing.
He was preceded in death by both of his brothers, Ernie Walling and Bob Walling.
Lin is survived by the love of his life, his wife of over 44 years, Margaret Walling; a daughter, Evalena Walling-Holt of Chumuckla, Florida; three step-sons, Chris Simmons of Middleburg, Florida; Al Simmons and Steve Simmons of Milton, Florida; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; and his sister, Freda Watson of Ravenna, Kentucky.
Lindsey Walling was laid to rest with a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Elizabeth Chapel / Chumuckla Community Church in Milton, Florida with Lewis Funeral Homes, Inc. of Milton, directing services.

James Arthur Strange, age 74, of Clay City, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
Born January 16, 1948, in Clay City, he was the son of the late Irvine Strange and Myrtle Snowden Strange. He was former heavy equipment operator with Robert Griffith and Son Excavating. James was a member of the Pentecostal House of Deliverance. He was a loving family man and was always the life of the party. James loved riding his motorcycle, and he was always ready, willing and able to help anyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Tincher Strange; one daughter, Gloria Strange; three brothers, Charlie Strange, David Marion Strange and Billy Ray Strange; and four sisters, Helen Townsend, Ethel Tipton, Bethel Dennis and Mary Puckett.
James is survived by his significant other, Brenda Donhowe; two sons, James Strange, Jr. of Clay City and David Strange (Angie) of Richmond; three daughters: Charity Strange, Joan Strange, both of Clay City; and Audrey Beatty of Lexington; two brothers, Eugene Strange (Tab) of Irvine and Jerry Glen Strange (Gathala) of Clay City; two sisters, Nancy Puckett of Irvine and Minnie Pearl Jordan (James Holder) of Clay City; 13 grandchildren: James Strange (Tiffani), James Enrique Strange, Israel Strange, Dionte Strange, Dylan Conner, Steven “Bubba” Slone, Regina Kirby (Jessie), Destiny Strange-Banks (Luke), Karah Crawford (Steven), Debra Conner, Kansas Slone, Harley Strange and Brianna Larrison (Anthony); and six great grandchildren: Avahlee Strange, Xzavier Strange, Zariyah Strange, Rayleigh Larrison, Adalynn Larrison and Maverick Larrison.
Funeral services officiated by Bro. Donald Hale will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation is 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, as well. Burial will be in Puckett Cemetery, 1807 Furnace Junction, with James Ethan Strange, James Enrique Strange, Israel Allen Strange, Dionte Gage Strange, Dylan Andrew Conner and Steven “Bubba” Slone serving as active pallbearers.

Shirley Reece Adams, age 82, of Ravenna, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at his home.
Shirley was born on May 2, 1939, in Ravenna, Kentucky, to the late Rodney and Bessie Tipton Adams. He was a United States Army veteran serving his country from 1961 until 1966.
In addition to his parents, Shirley was preceded in death by his grandson, Dalton Tanner Adams; and three brothers, Forrest Estes, Merrill Adams, and Edwin "Ed" Adams.
Mr. Adams is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris Rawlins Adams; three sons, Scotty Adams (Missy), Shannon Adams, and Greg Adams (Paula); two grandsons, Tyler Adams and Micah Jordan Adams; two granddaughters, Sara Williams and Shelby Williams; one great grandson, Fletcher Adams; two brothers, Gary Adams (Sondra) and Tracey Adams (Judy); one sister, Inas Adams Watson (Elzy); along with a host of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Shirley Reece Adams will be conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals with Brother Mark Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Betty Lou Damrel, age 91, widow of William B. Damrel, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at her home in Ravenna, Kentucky.
Born in Hamilton, Ohio, on February 28, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Mary Baker Webb. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two children, Sharon Snowden and Billy Wayne Damrel (Sandy); three grandchildren, April Ashcraft Mullins, Joshua Cartwright (Colleen), and Matt Damrel (Molly); five great grandchildren, and several extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded by three siblings, Opal Allen, Blanche Waterbury, and Kenneth Webb.
Visitation was held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Scobee Funeral Home. Graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Clarmont Memorial Gardens by Pastor Don Burkhead.

Willie Felphs Begley, age 86, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond.
He was born in Irvine, May 4, 1935, to Eligha and Betty Johnson Begley. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired self-employed carpenter.
Mr. Begley is survived by his wife Pauline Begley; two sons, David Begley and William Begley; two daughters, Betty Brinegar and Leasa Tuttle; and a brother, Clyde Begley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren, Justin and Casey Begley; five brothers, Roscoe Begley, Charles Begley, Lonzo Begley, Andrew Begley, and Arnold Begley; and two sisters, Edna Begley and Dorothy Hawkins.
Funeral services will be held a 12:30 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine with Bro. Bill Wesley officiating. Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 a.m. till time of the service. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery.

Linda Gayle McIntosh, age 66, of Stacy Lane Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at her home following a short illness.
She was born September 14, 1955 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Elory and Edith Hatton Sparks. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County all her life.
Linda is survived by two daughters: Chasity McKinney (Mark) and Crystal McIntosh (Larry Norton, Jr.), both of Estill County; one son, Anthony McIntosh of Estill County; three sisters: Debra Hensley, Wanda Rogers, and Jean Spencer, all of Estill County; two brothers: Randall Sparks and Donald Sparks, both of Estill County; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; thre sisters, Wave McIntosh, Elaine McIntosh, and Elma Tipton; and three brothers, Ronald, Ed and Billy Sparks.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, April 9, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Linville Dunaway officiating. Burial was at the Mountain Springs Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Edward Lee McIntosh, age 71, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022.
He was born at Millers Creek, Estill County, Kentucky, on Sunday, April 9, 1950, to Leroy McIntosh and Jean Warner McIntosh.
Edward resided in Kentucky and Pennsylvania before moving and finally retiring in Hendersonville. He was a member of the United States Navy, where he served in the Vietnam War. Edward was a member of Veterans of Foreign War and the American Legion. He loved working on model cars.
Edward was preceded in death by his grandparents, Simpson and Florence Walters McIntosh; and Edward and Maude Rison Warner.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Speed McIntosh; daughters, Shannon Aubin (Rich), Christine Coletti (Anthony), Meghan McIntosh, and Rebecka McIntosh (Ed Ritz), all of Pennsylvania; parents, Leroy McIntosh and Jean Warner McIntosh; and brothers, Kenneth Darrell McIntosh (Tonya) of Kentucky and Paul McIntosh Audrey of North Carolina. Edward is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

Bertha Wiseman, 89, widow of Lyndsey Wiseman, Jr., passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at her home in Winchester, Kentucky.
Born in Perry County, Kentucky, on February 21, 1933, to the late Floyd and Mallory Jones, she was a seamstress.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Wiseman; a granddaughter, Renee Wallace; a great granddaughter, Aidrianna Southard; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Wiseman; and grandsons, Daryl Wiseman and Larramy Crouch.
Services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Warren Rogers. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow in Stone Family Cemetery.

John Riddell, 73

John Riddell, age 73, of Bainum Road, New Richmond, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at home following a short illness.
He was born on March 13, 1949, in Estill County and was the son of the late James "Junebug" Riddell, Jr. and Eva Mae Farthing Riddell. He was a drywall worker all his life.
Mr. Riddell is survived by his wife, Geneva Frances Blanton Riddell, one daughter, Melisa (Ruhstaller Lisa), one son, Gregory Arthur Riddell, and a daughter-in-law, Tandy Renee Lay Riddell, all of Clermont County, Ohio; one sister, JoAnn Riddell Bernard of Estill County; two brothers: Eddie Wayne Riddell of Estill County and Jimmy Allen Riddell of Berea; a sister-in-law, Linda Riddell of Berea; nine grandchildren: Heather Lindsey (William), Brandon Ruhstaller, Kourtney Riddell, Kendra Riddell, Gavin Riddell, Gracie Riddell, Caitlyn Riddell, Lilly Riddell and Oliver Riddell; eight great grandchildren: Todd Lindsey, Kyeleigh Lindsey, Easton Ruhstaller, Olivia Latham, Korra Latham, Ayden Liming, Asher Liming and Ellie Mae Riddell; and a special friend, Dave Nichols.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Allen Riddell; and his sister, Glenna Faye Riddell Carroll.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 4, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Sydney Sparks officiating. Burial services will be at the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
Dinner will be served immediately following the burial service at Calvary Baptist Church at 21 Glory Street, West Irvine.
Pallbearers are Greg Riddell, Gavin Riddell, Brandon Ruhstaller, Jim Riddell, William Lindsey and Dave Nichols.
Honorary pallbearers are Eddie Wayne Riddell, Walsa Blanton, Edward (Dude) Erkenbrecher and Eric Banks.
Mildred Babb Farthing, 88

Mildred Babb Farthing, age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
Born December 30th, 1933, she is preceded in death by her parents, Laura Dixon Babb and Virgil Babb; sisters, Arzella Kirby, and Louise Carroll; and brothers, Thurman, Hargis, and Bobby Gene.
Mildred is survived by her baby brother, Glendon Babb.
She was born in Irvine, Kentucky and met her husband of 34 years, Edward Farthing, there. They had four children, Michael Edward Farthing (Dana), Randall Lee Farthing, Pattie Farthing Stubblefield (David), and Timothy Ray Farthing (Colette).
All were involved with her care and appreciate the mother that she was. Mildred, prided in her family and made sure they were cared for always.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years.
She valued her friends and her grandchildren: Alison Campbell (Allen), Sarah Ingersoll (Matt), Ryan Benjamin Farthing, and Amanda Burton (Luke); and great grandchildren: Reagan Campbell, Emmett Ingersoll, and Eliza Ingersoll).
Mildred enjoyed her family most of all things in her life.
She worked for Sylvania and Roses Department Store where she made many good friends and truly enjoyed her work there. Mildred enjoyed shopping and eating out with her family and always liked being surrounded by them. She was always there for her family and that is what will be missed most, her steadfastness.
The funeral will be at Scobee Funeral Home at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel; visitation will be Friday April 1st, from 10-11 a.m. with the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at the Winchester Cemetery where Mildred will be laid to rest next to her husband Edward Farthing.
Pallbearers are Ryan Farthing, David Stubblefield, Allen Campbell, Matt Ingersoll, Luke Burton, and Steve Craycraft.
