Harry Martin Crowe, 78

Harry Martin Crowe, age 78, of Edgewood Drive in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital following a short illness.
He was born May 1, 1944, in Estill County and was the son of the late William Allen and Celia M. Witt Crowe. He was a retired Brakeman and Conductor for CSX and a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #562 and had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Crowe is survived by his wife, Geraldine Fielder Crowe; one daughter, Jennifer Wiseman (Billy Bruce) of Estill County; one son, Brian Keith Crowe (Kristi) of Estill County; one sister, Sylvia Henderson of Estill County; one brother, Danny Crowe of Estill County; three grandchildren: Caleb Tanner Crowe (Meradith), Jessica – Loren Wiseman Marshall (Cody), and Taylor Page Wiseman; and four great grandchildren: Laira Blake Marshall, Braxton Crowe, Rhys Crowe, and Crew Marshall.
In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by one brother, Allen Crowe Jr.; and one grandson, Blake Kristopher Crowe.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at the Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Bro. Mark Pearson officiating. Burial will be the Crowe Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Church.

James Lee Tincher, age 76, widower of Mary Ellen Tincher, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his home.
He was born September 19, 1947 in Lexington to the late George and Flora Lee Slaven Tincher. He was a United States Army veteran.
Survivors include a son, James Wayne Tincher; a daughter, Peggy Ann Strange; three sisters, Mary E. Elam, Tina Howell, and Janie Grace; and a grandson, Ricky Strange.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a son, George Wayne Tincher.
Services Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the James Clay Tipton Cemetery, Tipton Ridge.

Roy Glenn Patrick, 79

Roy Glenn Patrick, age 79, Riverview Drive, Stanton, Kentucky, husband of Patty Patrick, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester.
He was born on June 14, 1943 in Powell County to the late Floyd and Lola Hardy Patrick. He was an equipment operator for many years, where he retired from Central Rock Mineral Company.
In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by his three children: two sons, Boyd Glen Patrick, Stanton; Brian Keith Patrick (Connie), Clay City; and his daughter, Gwen Yvonne Murphy, Stanton. Also, his grandson, Dakota Scott Murphy, Stanton.
Other survivors include a sister, Carolyn Sue Horn (Johnny), Clay City; a brother, Billy Patrick, Clay City; two nieces, Valerie Patrick Stephens and Kimberly Patrick; and a nephew, Johnny Horn, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Lola Patrick; two brothers, Virgil Patrick and Eugene Patrick; a sister-in-law, Eva Patrick; a nephew, Kevin Patrick; and a niece, Rhonda Mastin.
A very special thanks to the staff at Hospice East; Dr. William Greiser, and Clark Regional Medical Center.
A private family service will be held and burial following in Stonegate Cemetery, Stanton.

Maxine Rose Alcorn Long, 101

Our beautiful mother, Granny Max, and dear friend, Maxine Rose Alcorn Long of San Angelo, Texas, has joined her heavenly Father after a blessed life of 101 years on earth.
She was born at home, in Irvine, Kentucky, January 4, 1922, to Vernon and Nannie Lee Rogers Alcorn. She was a 1939 graduate of Irvine High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. She married Samuel S. Long, JR on August 27, 1941, in Irvine. They were married 59 years until his death in 2000.
At the time of her death, Thursday, January 5, 2023, she was a member of St. Mark Presbyterian Church, Pocahontas Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, and PEO Chapter FG. She was devoted to her family and was involved in all parts of her children’s lives. She cherished them. She adored her mother and father and was always there for them until their death. She spent a majority of her life helping others as a volunteer. She loved arts and crafts, antiques, bridge, genealogy, travelling, horse racing and her Kentucky roots.
Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel S. Long, Jr; Roger Alcorn and Margirie Alcorn (infant brother and sister), a brother, Henry Douglas Alcorn; her parents, and a grandson Stephen Long.
Survived by and cherishing her memory are children: Larry Long (Pat) of Midland, Texas; and Brenda Fry (Ken); grandchildren, Greg Long (Dacey) of Austin, Paul Fry (Kristie) and Christine Munsell of San Angelo; great grandchildren, Taylor Younts (Josh), Michael Fry, Lucas Long (Austin), Jake Johnson, and Harloe Ramirez; a great, great grandson, Asher Younts; a great, great granddaughter, Lakelyn Younts; and one nephew, Steve Walton (Tammy) of Yelm, Washington.
Larry’s marriage to Pat brought her beloved children to the union: Tricia Bolin (Davy), David Hood (Gina) and Cindy Cook (David); and their children and grandchildren, Taryn, Jason, Kaeti, Bria, Heather, David and Samuel. Also surviving are any cousins and cherished friends.
Special thank you to Visiting Angels, especially Esmi Gomez, Jennifer and Victoria, for helping take care of Mom and giving her love and companionship. Heartfelt appreciation to Hospice of San Angelo (HOSA) for guidance and care of Mom until the end; Araceli, Monica, Debbie, Becky, DJ, Crystal and Elizabeth – just to name a few of the wonderful people in this organization. Anna Marie Jacobs Warner, age 67, Berea, Kentucky, formerly of Irvine, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
She June 27, 1955 was born in Kenton County in Northern Kentucky to the late Robert and Betty Goldizen Jacobs. She had worked as a nurse’s aide before becoming disabled many years ago.
Anna is survived by her son, Travis Witt (Christina); her daughter, Shonna Hasty (Jeff); her grandchildren: Remmington Witt, Cooper Witt, and Summer Ann; and her very dear friends, Kathy Dawson and Jason Dawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Joey Jacobs, Robert Jacobs, Peggy Jacobs, and Sandy Brown.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 6, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home, 203 North Dogwood Drive, Berea. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Douglas Moore, age 69, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his residence.
He was born in Madison County on January 29, 1953 to Eugene and Agnes Thomas Moore. He was a member of the Sand Hill Christian Church and was a Kentucky Colonel.
Mr. Moore is survived by a sister, Sherron Pace (Phillip); a niece, Gina Akers (Rudy); a nephew, Dwayne Neal (Cheryl); two great nephews, Zack and Dylan Neal; and a great niece, Addison Akers.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Agnes Thomas Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Irvine with Bro. Ronald Lutes officiating. Friends may visit Friday from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the West Irvine Cemetery.

Barbara Louise Walling, age 84, of White Oak Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at her home following a long illness.
She was born August 29, 1938, in Lee County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of Bufford G. and Edna Jane Smyth Crabtree. She was a homemaker and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County most of her life.
Mrs. Walling is survived by her husband, Donnie B. Walling; one daughter, Rachel Martin of Estill County; one son, Paul Faught of Powell County; one sister, Virginia Farmer of Madison County; three brothers: Karl T. Crabtree of Powell County; Brenton Crabtree of Estill County; and Kenny Faught of Tennessee; and five grandchildren: Bryan Faught, Dylan Spivey, Hannah Horn, Jarrett Spivey and Ethan Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Jack Crabtree.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 7, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Rogers officiating. Burial will be at the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

Stella Frances Gray, age 66, of Mountain Crest in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Hospital following a long illness.
She was born January 20, 1956, in Fayette County and was the daughter of Joseph Patrick Pendergest Sr. and Mattie B. Ratcliffe Pendergest. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County most of her life.
Stella is survived by three sisters: Carolyn Ann Hall (Jim), Dorita Marcum, and Marie Bernadette Abney (Ova), all of Estill County; seven grandchildren: Danielle Jean Hardy, Lonnie Dakota Arvin, Stephanie Nicole Hardy, Matthew Gray, Kaitlyn Jade Gray, Jocelynn Makenna Bennett and Mason Gray; and three great grandchildren: Melody Rae-Ann Collett, River Allen Sisk and Conor Arvin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Tina Marie Gray and Jennifer Lynn Gray; one sister, Peggy Lou Patrick; and one brother, Joseph Patrick Pendergest, Jr.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, January 8, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at the Marcum Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Patricia Lee Spivey Noe, age 74, of Broadway in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at Baptist Health in Lexington following a long illness.
She was born September 13, 1948, in Irvine and was the daughter of the late Delbert and Edna Chamberlain Spivey. She retired from the Irvine Health and Rehab Center where she worked as a CMA. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life.
Patricia is survived by two daughters: Stephanie Reed of Madison County and Terri Noe of Fayette County; one son, Jason Bowling (Sarah) of South Carolina; three sisters: Jean Neal, JoAnn Williams (Doug) and Lisa Walden (Tommy), all of Estill County; four brothers: Randall Spivey (Sheila), Ray Spivey, Harold Spivey (Peggy), and Stephen Spivey (Vicki), all of Estill County; seven grandchildren: Logan Reed, Jordan Noe, Tanner Bowling, Blake Grubb, Kylie Stewart, McKenna Bowling, and Lilly-Kate Bowling; and four great grandchildren: Kaylie Reed, Jace Gerald, Kendall Johnson, and Kamden Reed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Jamie Grubb; one son, Kevin Bowling; and two grandchildren, Whitney Berryman and Jason Tyler Reed.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 6, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Alcorn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 5th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Stanley Long, 77

Stanley Long, age 77, of Salvisa, Kentucky, formerly of North Middletown, died Sunday, January 1, 2023 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born January 25, 1945 in Bourbon County, son of the late Chester Lee and Martha Stigall Long; attended North Middletown School and Lexington Community College; and was a member of North Middletown Christian Church. Stanley was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam era. He was a farmer as well as having worked for Clairborne Farm, Dura Corporation, and the V.A. Medical Center. Stanley enjoyed reading the newspaper, watching westerns, gardening, and working with his farm animals; but most of all, spending time with family.
He is survived by a son, Mike Long (Tammy); a daughter, Stephanie Long; two grandchildren, Samuel Long and Jess Long; asister, Mary Emma Shelley; and several nieces and nephews.
Stanley was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Osborne; five brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Sterling, Bill, and Roy Long; and a nephew, Tom Shelley.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2023, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, 526 Pleasant Street, Paris, Kentucky.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9th at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville with military honors.
Ruth Ann Stanton Henry, 79

Ruth Ann Stanton Henry, age 79, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022. She was a devoted wife and homemaker, proud mother of two daughters, and doting grandmother of one cherished granddaughter.
The daughter of William and Josephine Burch Stanton, Ruth was born on October 24, 1943 and grew up in downtown Cincinnati. One of twelve children, her siblings lovingly teased her about her freckles by giving her the nickname “Cookie”. Ruth was always soft-spoken, hard-working, and dedicated to her family.
On March 28, 1964, Ruth married the love of her life, Carl Henry of Irvine, Kentucky. She stood steadfast by his side through almost 45 years of marriage. Carl passed away on January 25, 2009. Together they raised two daughters, Cindy Jean and Rita Jo. Ruth and Carl were the adoring grandparents of Lilly Faye, who was undoubtedly the light of their lives.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Jean Papale (Chris) and Rita Jo Henry; her granddaughter, Lillyan Faye Welling; and her siblings, Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Gille, Doris Jean Mitchell, and Dennis Eugene Stanton.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henry; and her siblings, Mabel Josephine Matlock, Charles Richard “Sonny” Stanton, William Grover “Buddy” Stanton, Patricia Maxine “Pat” Hennegan, William Thomas “Tommy” Stanton, Ray Mason Stanton, George Edward “Eddie” Stanton, and Russel Lee Stanton.
Ruth enjoyed studying the Bible, sitting on the patio, and watching sci-fi movies. She loved the smell of honeysuckle, the sound of windchimes, and the sparkle of snow globes. More than anything, she loved her family. Ruth’s sweet, caring disposition was immediately clear to everyone who met her. She was uncommonly understanding and had the patience of a saint. Those closest to her knew she could also be stubborn and tenacious, a side that shone through during her long, courageous battle with oropharyngeal cancer. Ruth was called Home to her Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, December 23, 2022. She passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family.
Her life was celebrated on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Weigel Funeral Home of Hamilton, Ohio. Visitation for friends and family was held from 5-7 p.m., with funeral services commencing at 7:00 p.m., everything at the funeral home.
Ruth will be laid to rest at her husband Carl’s side on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Chestnut Stand Cemetery in Irvine, Kentucky. A brief graveside committal will be held at 12:00 Noon.

Linda Faye Casey, age 77, of Waco, Kentucky, the wife of Preacher Bob Casey, passed away Saturday evening, December 31, 2022, at Baptist Health-Richmond.
Linda was born in Franklin, Ohio on March 1, 1945, the daughter of Snorri Hensley Jr. and Grace Ruble Hensley Berry. She was a homemaker, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Linda loved being outdoors working in her yard and caring for her flowers. She was a faithful Christian for over 60 years and was a member of the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Irvine.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Bob Casey; her mother, Grace Ruble Hensley Berry; one daughter, Robin Gould (Jeff); one son, Tim Casey (Carolyn); three grandchildren: Adam Gould, Candace Gould and Jaleesa Willoughby (Rick); and five great grandchildren: Allisyn Gould, Ryder Gould, Korbin Kiser, Everly Kiser and Mackenzie Willoughby; as well as several cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was in preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, 328 West Main Street, Richmond, with Charley Ward and Bob Casey officiating. Justin Blake Hamilton, age 33, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Bowling Green, Kentucky, Medical Center.
Justin was born on August 7, 1989, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to the late Clyde Hamilton and to Linda Sue Henson Hamilton.
In addition to his mother, Justin is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Cobble Hamilton; a brother, Clyde Walker (Shirley); and two sisters, Betty Trump and Amy Bailey (Larry). In addition, he has four nieces, Mahaley Tackett, Brittany Reed, Hope and Candice Bailey; two nephews, Clyde Walker Hamilton and Corey Bailey; three great nieces, Harper Reed, Danielle Hamilton, and Gwen Bailey; and two great nephews, Hudson Reed and Adner Bailey.
Funeral services for Justin Blake Hamilton will be conducted on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals with Brother Claude Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Stanton. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lisa Eileen Plowman, age 63, of Greens Grossing in Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Compassionate Care Center following a short illness.
She was born March 3, 1959, in New Castle, Indiana and was the daughter of Boyd Eugene Plowman and Edith Geneva Young Martin. She attended the First Christian Church.
Lisa is survived by one sister, Sandy Snowden McIntosh of Richmond; three brothers: Leonard Snowden of Eaton, Ohio;
Ray Snowden of Ravenna, and Tracy Snowden of Irvine; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Jo Combs; and two brothers, Jack Plowman and Jerry Snowden.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 2, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Jones officiating. Burial will be at the Lainhart-Larrison Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Thada Rogers, age 55, of Richmond, Kentucky, formerly of Jackson, Kentucky in Breathitt County, departed this life on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Richmond.
Miss Rogers was born on March 7, 1967, in Lexington, Kentucky to Hargus Rogers and the late Tincie Worrell Rogers. She was the granddaughter of Shirley and Pauline Watson Rogers and Thaddeus and Minnie Richardson Worrell.
Along with her father, Thada is survived by one sister, Marilyn Rogers of Richmond; and a brother, Johnathan Rogers of Richmond; along with a host of other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Thada attended Breathitt County High School where she excelled in all academics. She was an active member in band, student council, and the French club. She served as drum major and played clarinet in the band. Thada won the John Sousa award twice. Thada was chosen in the first group of Governor Scholars, and she attended the Centre College program. She was a former member of Jackson Christian Church where she was very active in many church activities.
Funeral services for Thada Rogers will be conducted on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Jim Hall will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Cobb Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Grover Cleveland “Cleve” Rogers, age 84, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at his residence.
He was born July 25, 1938 in Irvine to Charles and Bertha Baker Rogers. He was a retired mason.
Mr. Rogers is survived by a son, Russell Rogers; a daughter, Connie Berryman; seven grandchildren, Kelsey and her husband Jonathan, Adrian, Jaylah, Russell, Emily, Sarah, and Brandon; four great grandchildren, Linzie, Isabella, Savannah and Marleigh; and a brother, Jessie Rogers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Berthie Rogers; a son, Anthony Rogers; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Irvine. Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in the McQueen Cemetery.

Cheryl Anne Paolini, age 61, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Compassionate Care Hospice Center in Richmond.
She was born on January 31, 1961, in Plattsburgh, New York to the late Jerry and Elisabeth Wilke Workman.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Michael Dean Paolini; her son, Michael Theron Paolini and fiancée Beth Dixon; a daughter, Kathleen Deanna Paolini; three grandchildren, Bradyn Scott Coulter, and Marshall and Maxton Paolini; along with several cousins.
Graveside services for Cheryl Anne Paolini will be conducted on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Paolini Family Cemetery.

Phyllis was born on November 5, 1957, in Winchester, Kentucky, to the late Fred Farris "Freddie" and Lois Louise Estes Walters. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony "Tony" Walters.
Survivors include her special companion, Paul Bullock; one son, Tucker Bullock and fiancée, Shay Banegas; two sisters, Michelle McCarty and Sharon Brandenburg; three nieces, Kristen Walters and Alicia and Amber Osborne; two nephews, Calieb Walters and Alex Osborne; one grandson, Dominic Bullock; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Phyllis J. Bullock will be conducted on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 12:00 Noon in the Lewis Home for Funerals Chapel with Brother Sherl Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family has chosen cremation after the services.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to her memorial fund.

Rhonda Lavon Woosley, age 60, of New Fox Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her home following a short illness.
She was born August 31, 1962 in Fort Myers, Florida and was the daughter of Maynard and Ruby Sparks Dickey. She was an employee of Mercy Health in Powell County and a member of the Ivory Hill Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County most of her life.
Mrs. Woosley is survived by her husband, Gary Joe Woosley; one daughter, Larissa Muncy (Brison) of Ravenna; one son, Kenneth Joe Woosley of Irvine; her mother-in-law, Hallie Woosley of Irvine; two brothers: Michael Dickey (Nancy) of Florida and
Ronnie Dickey of Irvine; a sister-in-law, Carla Dickey of Florida; two grandchildren: Brynnleigh and Frankie Muncy; her nephew, Travis Dickey; several special nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and several special friends, including Margie Stamper.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandchild, Taylor Joe Woosley.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 1, 2023, 2:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sam McKinney officiating. Burial will be at the South Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Joy Ann Burkhart, 89

Joy Ann Burkhart, age 89, departed this life Monday, December 26, 2022, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born December 6, 1933, in Estill County to parents John and Laura Mae Tipton Lee. She had three siblings: Ralph, Gene and Eva.
Joy graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in education. She began her teaching career in a one-room school setting and would later go on to teach at West Irvine Elementary but spent most of her career at Ravenna Elementary. Joy retired after a fruitful 34-year teaching career.
Billy and Joy Burkhart were married in 1962. They had one son, Tim (Melisa), and one grandson, Will. They were long-time members of River Drive Christian Church. Joy had a small, but close-knit family whom she dearly loved and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held early next spring, her favorite season of the year.
Arrangements were handled by Lewis Home for Funerals with burial in Oakdale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hospice Care Plus, 208 Kidd Drive, Berea, KY 40403.
Robert Glenn Jones, Jr., 53

Robert Glenn Jones, Jr., age 53, of Dark Hollow Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the St. Joseph Hospital, following a long illness.
He was born July 8, 1969, in Estill County and was the son of Robert Glenn and Corda Jean Watkins Jones. He worked at Pearson Construction and had lived in Estill County most of his life.
Mr. Jones is survived by two daughters: Montana Ranae Jones and Madison Elisabeth Walters, both of Estill County; and one son, Noah Landon Walters of Estill County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, China Jones; and a brother, Darrell Stamper.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
No service is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made toward the funeral expenses.

Marie Tipton, age 75, of Main Street in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at her home following a long illness.
She was born March 20, 1947, in Lee County and was the daughter of the late Buck and Reva Jean Stamper Ingram. She was retired from the Tipton Motor Company and attended the Pine Crest Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life.
Mrs. Tipton is survived by her husband, Jackie Berlin Tipton; two stepsons: Leslie Shawn Tipton (Jennifer) of Madison County and Jeremy Glen Tipton of Estill County; two sisters: Mary King and Brenda Deaton, both of Lee County; two step-grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren; and one step-great granddaughter, Nora Ruth Tipton.
Visitation were held 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Joe Lahrmer officiating. Burial was at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Tyler Tipton, Tom Deaton, Brian Crowe, Donnie Watson, David Ross and Shawn Tipton.
Ruby Puckett Wise, 90

Ruby Puckett Wise, age 90, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on December 26, 2022, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond, Kentucky.
Mrs. Wise was born on January 16, 1932, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Harve and Grace Tipton Puckett. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her son, Randall Kirk Wise; a brother, Lonnie Puckett; and two sisters, Dorothy Ballard and Heathy Gilbert.
Survivors include a son, David Wise of Irvine; her daughter, Angela Townsend of Waco; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Johnson, Latasha Townsend, Brandy Raider (Rick), and Claudia Grace Richie; nine great grandchildren, Carissa Reed, Rylin Robinson, Landyn Baskin, Braydon Townsend, Mason Raider, Johnathan Raider, Cameron Townsend, Larkin Allen, and Keegan Goodrich; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Ruby Puckett Wise will be conducted on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 12:00 Noon in the Lewis Home for Funerals Chapel with Brother Craig Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Crowe Cemetery in Irvine. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2022, from six until eight p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Rick Raider, Landyn Baskin, Mason Raider, Braydon Townsend, Aaron Hudson, and Jerry Townsend.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Raider and Cameron Townsend.

Robert B. Crowe, age 90, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the Irvine Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Crowe was born on June 6, 1932, in Paris, Kentucky, to the late Dillard and Emily Barnett Crowe. He was of the Christian Faith.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two daughters, Charlotte Ann Morehead and Debra Miller; four brothers, Donald, Orville, Dillard and Arthur Crowe; eight sisters, Edith Freeman, Gladys Hanks, Esther Miller, Barbara Stamper, Hazel Stokely, Marie Trusty, Jean Allen, and Mary Gayheart; and one granddaughter, Cristy Meadows.
Robert is survived by a son, Robert Earl Crowe (Colleen) of Clay City; three grandsons, Brandon Crowe, and Johnathan and Nick Morehead; four great grandchildren, Brayden Crowe, Anthony Meadows, Bianca Morehead, and Olivia Donithan; along with numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the West Bend Cemetery in Clay City, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dayle Payne officiating.

Starlet Kay Hisle, age 57, of Richmond Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, following a long illness.
She was born September 5, 1965, in Estill County and was the daughter of Betty Jean Willis Hisle and the late Paul Lewis Hisle. She was a caregiver and a member of the Crooked Creek Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Paul Randall Hisle (Kathy) of Laurel County; one nephew, Brandon Christopher Hisle; one niece, Tiffany Hisle; and one great niece, Willow Wells.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Rose officiating. Burial was at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation was held Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Brandon Hisle, Wayne Babb, Austin Moore, Darrell Dwayne Dixon, Keadon Wilburn, and Dustin Arvin.

Andrew Stepp, age 42, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.
He was born in Irvine, May 28, 1980 to Kenneth and Gladys Stepp.
Mr. Stepp is survived by five brothers, Kenneth Preston Stepp, Kennel Stepp, Mike Stepp, Jason Stepp and Philip Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Gladys Stepp; and a brother, Perry Cox.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine. Friends visited Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. Burial was in the South Irvine Cemetery.
