    Amanda Grace Cox, age 43, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Friday, August 18, 2023, in Irvine.
    Amanda was born on May 21, 1980, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Wayne Richardson and Teresa Issacs Marcum.
    She is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Lee Gregory.
    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Stevie Cox; two children, Eve LaShae Cox and Joshlyn MaGail Cox; a granddaughter, Krisslyn Farjone; and two sisters, Kimberly Richardson and Rebecca Collett; along with numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
    Funeral services for Amanda Grace Cox will be conducted on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Jerry Rose will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Marcum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
    The pallbearers will be Shawn and Kadyn Hardy, Joe Collins, and Anthony Arvin.

Barbara Jean Richardson

    Barbara Jean Richardson, age 73, of Substation Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a long illness.
    She was born November 24, 1949 in Madison County and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Pearl Conner Goosey. She retired from the Irvine Nursing and Rehab Center where she worked as a Dietician. She was of the Holiness faith and had lived in Estill County all her life.
    Mrs. Richardson is survived by son, Gregory Richardson (April) of Estill County; two sisters: Brenda Logsdon (Raymond) of Madison County and Geraldine Chaney (Steve) of Estill County; one brother, Billy Neal Goosey (Pam) of Estill County; a sister-in-law, Linda Goosey of Estill County; four grandchildren: Alexandria, Brandon, Nicholas, and Grant Richardson; and three great grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one son, Ricky David Richardson; one sister, Shirley Ann Estes; and three brothers, Randall Joe, Elmer Jr. and Raymond Lewis Goosey.
    Funeral services was conducted Sunday, August 20, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Rose officiating. Burial was at the Turpin Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
    Pallbearers were Scott Camden, Liam Mays, Christian Grant, Michael Cruse, Billy Chaney, and Chris Goosey.

Helen Ruth Henderson Edwards

    Helen Ruth Henderson Edwards, age 94, wife of 68 years to Robert Douglas Edwards, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, at her residence in Richmond, Kentucky.
    She was born in Estill County, Kentucky to the late Elmer Lawrence and Lucille Estelle Alexander Henderson. Early in life, Helen received her nursing degree from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. She loved and was very devoted to her nursing career. Helen enjoyed sewing, embroidery, square dancing, and traveling with her husband Robert. She was of the Methodist faith.
    Other than her parents, Helen was preceded in death by one sister. Kathryn White.
    In addition to her husband Robert, Helen is survived by her siblings, Jessie Drake, Willis Henderson (Rose), Tommy Henderson (Shirlene), and Sue Collins (Phillip). Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
    Memorial services were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Davis & Powell Funeral Home in Berea with Bro. George Drake officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Marsha White Bonny Hughes

    Marsha White Bonny Hughes, age 74, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, following a short illness.
    She was born August 18, 1948 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Arthur Woodrow Bonny and Cecilia Ann Davis Bonny.
    Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence E. Hughes.
    Marsha was a graduate of Irvine High School and Eastern Kentucky University. She was a member of the Irvine-Ravenna Kiwanis Club. She was a retired social worker and had lived in Estill County all her life.
    Mrs. Hughes is survived by two sons: Lawrence Edward Hughes, II and Gary Lee Winkle, Jr.; three sisters: Nelle Williams, Royce Smithers, and Teresa King; four grandchildren: Luke Hughes, Selene Winkle, Carlos Winkle, and Arthur Winkle; two nieces: C-Ann Forehand and Eschelle King; one nephew, Kevin Williams; one great nephew, Thomas Forehand; special cousins: Janie, Joedy, and Tennye Ohr; and a host of friends.
    In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cecelia Ann Bonny; and her brother, Arthur Woodrow Bonny.
    Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 19, 2023 1:00 p.m., at the Irvine United Methodist Church with Rev. Felsha Foster officiating. Burial was at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
    Pallbearers were Rob Forehand, Tom Kirby, Geoff Canter, Robert Browning, Clay Case, and Chris Finney.

    Pauline Begley, age 87, of Irvine, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
    Pauline was born on March 19, 1936, in Irvine, Kentucky, to the late Vernon and Dorothy Townsend Gross.
    In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Willie Felphs Begley; eight brothers, Vernon Jr., Woodrow, Bunn, Roy, Hoover, Troy, Lemon Dee, and Alvin Lee Gross; one sister, Alma Wiseman; and two grandchildren, Justin Felphs Begley and Casey Leigh Begley.
    Mrs. Begley was a devoted Christian; she loved gardening, especially flowers. She loved blue grass gospel music, watching a full moon, being a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and cook; and above all, being a very caring and selfless person.
    She is survived by her four devoted children, Leasa Jean Tuttle, Betty Jo Brinegar (Pete), William Eugene Begley, and David Lee Begley; two grandchildren, Heather Faith Watson and Tyler Ray Begley; two brothers, Joe Gross and Bill Gross; and one sister, Maggie Begley; along with a special brother-in-law, Clyde Begley, and numerous nieces and nephews and relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
    Funeral services for Pauline Begley will be conducted on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 2:00 P.M., in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Harold Friend will officiate. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service from noon until 2:00 p.m.

    Richard Johnson, age 86, of German Township, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties with loving family by his side.
    He was born in Irvine, Estill County, Kentucky, on September 18, 1936, son of the late Dovie Marcum and Willie C. “Bill” Johnson. He had worked for Interstate Folding Box for many years; and retired from General Motors ~ Frigidaire Division in 1997 after 29 years of service.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest “Billy” Johnson; and three sisters, an infant sister Pauline Johnson, Barbara Williams, and Willie “Bea” Jones.
    Richard is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sue Johnson; his children, Denise (Earl) Eagle, Dennis (Amber) Johnson, Marcella (Mark) Crider, and Sandra Kuch (Doug); seven grandchildren, Wesley (Liz Young) & David Brewer, Jesse & Tara Salyers, Tiffany Crider, Christina Holbrook (Phill), and Tamara Miller; eight great grandchildren, Allison & Stephanie Brewer, Scarlett Salyers, Eli & Audrey Holbrook, Charlie Brewer, and twins ~ Harmony & Melody Poteet; his sister, Margie Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Terry Clay Sparks, age 73, of Drowning Creek Ridge in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at The Terrace Nursing and Rehab Center in Berea, following a short illness.
    He was born October 3, 1949, in Estill County and was the son of the late Thomas John “T.J.” Sparks and Nellie Hampton Sparks. He was a retired conductor for CSX and a member of the Beaver Pond Christian Church. He had lived in Estill County all his life.
    Mr. Sparks is survived by two daughters: Marla Thomas (Elmer) of Richmond and Terrie Letcher (Norman) of Danville; one son, Mark Woodson Sparks (Amber) of Lexington; one sister, Rita Patrick of Estill County; two brothers, Farrell Sparks of Winchester and Ronnie Sparks (Jennifer) of Estill County; six grandchildren: Lauren Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Chris Rainwater, Nicholas Rainwater, Andre Bryant, and Jakob Dudgeon; six great grandchildren: Zoey, Christian, Julian, Gavin, Amelia, and Isaiah Rainwater; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
    A celebration of life will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.

    Mary Alice Issacs Mays, age 83, of Beattyville, Kentucky, went to be with her lord on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky.
    She was born on April 18, 1940, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Nathan and Pearl Estes Issacs.
    In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by three husbands, B.P. McKinney, Raymond C. Mays, and Homer Tipton; a granddaughter, Amy Love McKinney; two brothers, Elwood, and Perry Messer, and 6 sisters, Bo Daniels, Viola Alcorn, Ethel Chaney, Malva Martin, Ezell Rogers, and Bernice Hankins.
    Mrs. Mays is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Yvonne McKinney and Melissa McKinney; three sisters, Cletta Harrison, Irene Rucker, and Berma Newton; four grandchildren, Angel Phillips (Anthony), Natasha Robinson (Greg), Brandy Powell (Ryan), and Scott McGuire; seven great grandchildren, Alexandria Camden (Scott), Hannah Robinson, Conner Robinson, Rose-Erin Phillips, Madison Powell, Caleb Powell, and Levi Powell; and two great, great grandchildren, Lorelai Lee and Atlas Camden; along with many other nieces and nephews and relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.

Charlie "Buddy" Mays III

    Charlie "Buddy" Mays III, age 57, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky.
    Buddy was born October 6, 1965 in Lexington, Kentucky, a son of Charlie Green Mays, Jr. and the late Sudie Marie Puckett Mays. He was a lifelong resident of Bear Track and was widely known as a great chicken handler and fighter. He was a self-employed carpenter and attended the Pine Crest Church.
    He is survived by his father, Charlie Green Mays Jr.; his first wife, Kathy Lee Childers; three sons, Buddy Lee Mays (Hope) and Nathan Rae Mays (Sarah), both of Beattyville, and Dakotah Mays of Wilmore; one daughter, Heather Benton (Brett) of Irvine; one brother, Randal Mays of Loveland, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Brooklyn Mays, Lucas Mays, Dylan Mays, Carter Mays, Audrey Mays, Treyton Riddel and Talyn Riddel; along with many other loving family members and friends.
    Buddy was preceded in death by his mother, Sudie Marie Mays; one brother, Scotty Mays; and one sister, Bonnie Sue Mays Wilder.
    Visitation was held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 p.m. at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services were also held Thursday, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Johnson officiating. Buddy was laid to rest in the Crabtree Cemetery located in the Little Sinking Community in Lee County.

    Leon Roberts, age 74, husband of Gathel Wells Roberts, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Kindred Health Center, Louisville.
    He was born August 20, 1948 in Woodford County to the late George and Lydia Brewer Roberts.
    Survivors include his wife, Gathel Roberts; two sons, Billy Joe Roberts (Delisa) and Leon Christopher Roberts (Crystal); three grandchildren, Devin Roberts, Tessa Roberts, and Kevin Roberts; a brother, Alvin Roberts (Sharon); and a sister, Leslie Brooks (Charles).
    He was preceded in death by his parents; asister, Alice Razor; and three brothers, Gary Roberts, Randall Roberts, and Lindsey Roberts.
    Services will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023, 11:00 a.m., by Bro. James Harold Combs at the Wells Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 22nd, 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Larry Jamison Meadows

    Larry Jamison Meadows, age 70, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
    Born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on September 8, 1952, he was the son of the late Henry and Fannie Campbell Meadows. Larry lived for his family whom he loved endlessly. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a master at making anything funny. He worked as a Quality Control Manager for Qwik Tool and worked at Racota Manufacturing. He was a United States Army Veteran; and a member of the AMVETS Post 67 and the American Legion.
    He was known as a very generous man, donating to several charities, but he had a special love for the disabled veterans and disadvantaged children.
    In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Larry Bradley Meadows; four brothers: Trulan Meadows, Kenneth Meadows, Roger Meadows and Everett Meadows; two sisters: Freda Taylor and Eunice Babcock; and one grandchild, Aaron Micheal Cockrell.
    He is survived by his son, Micheal Cockrell of Clay City; his daughter, Krista Stevenson (Derek) of Lexington; one brother, Clifford Meadows of Pilot View; one sister, Nancy Freeman of Winchester; seven grandchildren: Justin Meadows, Kelsey Parker (Dustin), Chase Kennon, Taylor Cockrell, Nicholas Cockrell, Daylen Massey and Jaylee Stevenson; and four great grandchildren: Hayden Ritchie, Easton Parker, Rhyder Kennon and Aiden Berry.

William Lawrence “Bill” Thompson

    William Lawrence “Bill” Thompson, age 80, of Clay City, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
    Born in Ashland, Kentucky on April 22, 1943, he was the son of the late Meredith and Verna Boggs Thompson. Bill worked for Covenant Transport as a truck driver and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He loved to hunt and fish and loved to sing and dance.
    In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Jo Thompson; five brothers: Clyde Thompson, Johhny Thompson, Luke Thompson and Tom Thompson; and four sisters: Betty June Tackett, Ruth Cervantez, Mae Thompson and Della Green.
    He is survived by his four sons: William Thompson, Jr. (Lucy) of Stanton, James Edward Thompson (Lisa) of Clearfield, Ronnie Thompson (Donna) of Morehead and David Thompson (Sonya) of Stanton; two daughters: Rebecca Luman of Greenbrier, Tennessee, and Patricia Pardue of Morehead; one brother, Jake Thompson of Middletown, Ohio; 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
    Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton, Kentucky. Nora Lee Walters

    Nora Lee Walters, age 94, widow of Cecil “Pete” Walters, of Stanton, Kentucky, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
    Nora Lee was born in Rosslyn, Kentucky on April 1, 1929, to the late Virgil and Maude Benningfield Martin. Nora Lee loved her family deeply. She was a faithful member of Stanton Christian Church since 1947, a lifetime member of the DAV and the VFW, a member of the American Legion and the Chairwoman assisting the Louisville DAR and Bowen Family Association of KY.
    Throughout the years she was active in the leadership of the 4-H Club of Powell County and Parent Teachers Association, and she was appointed as a member of the Social Services Advisory Committee for eight years under both Governor Bert T. Combs and Governor Edward T. Breathitt.
    Nora Lee was the first woman appointed to the Stanton Municipal Housing Authority and was employed by the Cabinet for Human Resources. She was a member of the 83rd Infantry Division, WWII Auxiliary Association; the Kentucky Public Retirees, the National Button Society, and a charter member and treasurer of the Powell County Association for Special Needs Children.
    Mrs. Walters was a member of the Daughters of the Revolution in Mt. Sterling, a charter member of the Red River Valley Chapter D.A.R. where she served as Regent, appointed by Gov. Wendell Ford as the first woman to serve on the local Board of Selective Service and commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel.
    Nora Lee loved her community and faithfully remembered the Veterans by “ringing the bell” on the 11th month, 11th day, 11th hour each year and participated in placing American flags on Veterans' graves at Stanton Cemetery.
    Along with her husband and parents, Nora Lee was preceded in death by her daughter, Jane Alice Reed Vice; one brother, James Richard Martin; and two sisters: Wilma Jane Martin Reed and Marietta Martin Stone.
    She is survived by two daughters: Eva June Friel (Bobby) of Louisville and C. Ann Cunningham (H.K.) of Stanton; two sisters, Hilda Glenn of Saint Charles, Missouri; and Wilda Derickson (H.T.) of Stanton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
    Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m, Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton. Funeral services officiated by Brother Greg Webb were conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 18th, at the funeral home.
    Burial was held at Stanton Cemetery with Jason Friel, Anthony Ware, Chad Vice, Sanford Vice, J.R. Dakin, J.R. Butcher and Woody Clark serving as active pallbearers.

    David Sparks, age 63, of Stanton, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
    Born in Campton, Kentucky, on May 15, 1960, he was the son of the late Garnie and Dallie Ledford Sparks. David attended the Bowen Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of God. He loved country music and all kinds of food.
    David is survived by one brother, Greg Sparks of Troy, Ohio; three sisters: Norma Sparks of Stanton, Cathy Barker of Stanton, and Donna Slone of Troy, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Vicki Rucker, age 78, widow of Everett Rucker Jr., passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 at Irvine Nursing and Rehab.
    She was born November 16, 1944 in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Eugene Crawley and the late Margaret May Purcell Canter. Vicki was a member of Irvine First Church of the Nazarene.

    Stephenia Denise Abner, age 44, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, Kentucky.
    She was born November 12, 1978 in Fayette County, Kentucky, to Dorothy Gross Centers.
    Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Centers; two daughters, Hayleigh Abner and Shianne Abner; two sons, Jaylan Shelton and Caden Shelton; a sister, Rhonda Owsley (Homer); three grandchildren, William Bailey, Blakeleigh Fultz, and Wilder Groves; a nephew, Cameron Owsley (Shalyn); and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Douglas H. Jackson

    Douglas H. Jackson, age 86, of Waco, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond.
    He was born on Wednesday, July 7, 1937, in Madison County, Kentucky, the son of the late Robert and Esther Hammons Jackson. Doug was a graduate of Waco High School and obtained a Rank I from Eastern Kentucky University. He joined the United States Army and obtained the status of Lieutenant.
    He started his career in education teaching History in Powell County Schools. He later moved to Madison County, where he assumed the position of Principal of White Hall Elementary School, from which he retired. He was always proud of the fact that he never missed a day during his time at White Hall.
    He had a love for farming and continued farming throughout his life. He farmed the family farm at Waco and his wife’s family farm in Powell County. Doug loved his time living in Powell County and always cherished his many friends and kept his connections there. He enjoyed all his friendships and never lost his wit. He loved animals, especially wildlife, and always provided food for the wildlife. He enjoyed raising his own food from his farm and sharing it with others.
    Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Rose Jackson and a brother, John Jackson.
    Survivors include his daughter, Rose Anne Harp (John) of Waco; two grandsons, Jackson Meade of Waco and Matthew Harp of Knoxville, Tennessee; a sister, Carol Perry; and several nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, 328 West Main Street in Richmond. Private Graveside Services will be conducted in Richmond Cemetery.
    Pallbearers will be Chris Cooper, Rodney Dixon, Danny Turner, Jackson Meade, Dewey Hollon, Beverly Dezarn, Dallas Isaacs and Don Buchanan.

    Billy M. Ashley, 86, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky.
    He was born April 2, 1937 in Stanton, Kentucky to the late Lonnie Clay and Goldie Day Ashley. He was a United States Army Veteran.
    Survivors include a son, Michael G. Ashley, Lexington.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Carl Ashley; sisters, Ruby Knox and Mildred Trimble; and a son, Billy D. Ashley.
    Services will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023, 12:00 Noon at the Wells Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Stonegate Cemetery with Veteran Honors.

    Penny King Banks, 62, wife of Johnny Banks, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at her home in Clay City, Kentucky.
    Born in Bourbon County, Kentucky, on February 28, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Bobby King and Patricia Ann Barnes.
    In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children, Deanna Trent (Walter), Penelope Jones, and Brendan Ballard (Stephanie); six grandchildren, Gavin Muncie, LaHannah Peyton, Josh Ballard, Kaylei Ballard, Dalton Trent and Aden Ballard; and her siblings, Darrell King, Wayne King, BJ King, Connie King, Lisa Ward, Michael King, and Timmy King.
    Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel next to Scobee Funeral Home, 219 West Lexington Avenue, Winchester. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

    Richard Kim Marsh, age 67, husband of 32 years to Linda Jones Marsh, of Winslow, Indiana, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
    Born in Winchester, Kentucky on September 13, 1955, he was the son of the late Thomas Marsh and the late Easter Marsh Rogers.
    Richard was raised in Stanton, Kentucky where he attended Powell County High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and retired from Operating Engineers Local 841. He spent his retirement years fishing at Kentucky Lake and made fishing trips with his good buddies to Mississippi and Louisiana. He also competed in black powder shooting matches with his brothers, nephew and great nephew. He was a passionate fan of University of Kentucky basketball and football. He also had a special love and appreciation for God’s creation; nature, birds, the outdoors and dogs, especially Buddy & Frank.
    Richard’s faith & trust in his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, was the cornerstone of his life and was especially evident during the last 2 months he spent battling cancer.
    In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his stepfather, Alvin Rogers; one sister, Naomi Horn; one brother, Omer “Tommy” Marsh; two brothers-in-law, Harold Horn and Frank Brown; and his parents-in-law, David “Bill” and Elsie Jones.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Ashley Hurm (Neal); three grandchildren, Chloe, Callie and Cooper Hurm of Owensboro, Kentucky; one sister, Lillian Marsh Brown of Winchester; one brother, Harry Marsh (Rita) of Stanton; one sister-in-law, Roberta Marsh; and much-loved nephews, nieces and their families.
    We rejoice in God’s promise that we will one day all be reunited in Heaven."
    Visitation was held at Harris Funeral Home, Petersburg, Indiana, Friday, August 11, 2023 from 3-7 p,m. Visitation will also be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon as well at the funeral home.
    In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association and Kentucky’s Corps of Longriflemen, Carl L. King – President, 1120 Dry Ridge Road, Dry Ridge, KY 41035.
