James Price Patrick

    James Price Patrick, age 74, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Baptist Health, Lexington, following a short illness.
    He was born December 6, 1948, in Estill County, and was the son of the late Dillard and Opal Abney Patrick. He retired from the University of Kentucky where he worked in the cooling plant. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Richmond. He served in the United States Army as a medic and served in Korea.
    Mr. Patrick is survived by his wife, Rhoda Patrick; two brothers, Greg Patrick and Arnold Patrick (Donnie), both of Irvine; and one sister, Brenda Patrick of Lexington.
    In addition, he is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and a very special nephew, Xavier White.
    He was preceded in death by four brothers, William Ralph Patrick, Willard Patrick, Freddy Patrick, and Larry Patrick; and two sisters, Marie Warmouth and Vivian Flynn.
    Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 1, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Elwood Patrick officiating. Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30th from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers are Greenville Estes, Bill Wise, Gary Conrad, Jason Rogers, Matthew Patrick, and Floyd Johnson.
    Honorary pallbearers are Xavier White and Liam Aubrey.

Woodford Randall

    Woodford Randall, age 71, husband of Vickie Gross Randall, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
    He was born August 16, 1952 in Powell County, Kentucky to the late Eillis and Pearl Hatton Randall.
    Survivors include his wife, Vickie Randall; a son, Woodford Dennis Randall (Heather); a daughter, Denise Marie Samples (Erik); three grandchildren, Erik Blaine Samples, Zackery Roy Randall, and Anthony Gross; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Randall whom he loved and adored.
    Services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, 10 a.m., at Wells Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation will be held Wednesday after 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Cobb Hill Cemetery.

Ralph “Eddie” Pelfrey

    Ralph “Eddie” Pelfrey, age 66, of Stanton, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
    He was born November 11, 1956 in Montgomery County, Kentucky, to Shirley and Etta Morrison Pelfrey. He worked for Pre-Stress and was a member of the Restoration Community Church.
    Mr. Pelfrey is survived by his wife, Debbie Pelfrey; a son, Landon Pelfrey; three daughters, Patricia Fouch (Landon), Jessica Ledford (Joseph), and Kecli Goodwin; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Bill Pelfrey (Rose); and two sisters, Lisa Blythe (Phillip) and Anne Wagers.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Anthony Gabbard; two brothers, Darrell Pelfrey and Ronnie Pelfrey; and a sister, Barbara Pelfrey.
    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Grace Fellowship Church of God with Bro. Robbie Workman officiating. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11 a.m. till time of the service. Burial will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Stanton.
    Pallbearers are Darrell Pelfrey, Tommy Pelfrey, Jacob Frye, Joey Ledford and Phil Blythe.

    Mary Margerrine Howell, 59, wife of Wayne Howell, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at Baptist Health Lexington, Kentucky.
    She was born September 14, 1964 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late John William Hall and Dorothy Ritchie Byrd.
    Survivors include her husband, Wayne Howell; three sons, William David McCoy (Angelica Horseley), Bobby Ray McCoy, and Dustin Clay McCoy (Brittany Elkins); two daughters, Chrystal Gale Townsend (Adam) and Roseanna Marie Centers (Cory); four brothers, James Hall, Eugene Hall, Ricky Byrd, and Ricky Hall; six sisters, Judy Rogers, Sherry Vires, Vickie Maschino, Mary Helen Byrd, Anna Byrd, and Janice Wolfe; and 18 grandchildren.
    Services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, 2 p.m., at Wells Funeral Home, 777 West College Avenue, Stanton by Bro. James Harold Combs. Visitation will be on Wednesday after 11 a.m. until the time of service.

    Marion Keith Burrough, age 62, of New Fox Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, at his home following a short illness.
    He was born December 10, 1960, in Kilmichael, Mississippi, and was the son of the late Etolia Hunt. He was a Contract Laborer for A & A Express and had lived in Estill County for the last 10 years.
    Mr. Burrough is survived by his wife, Cathy Sue Durham Burrough; one daughter, Angel Michelle Burrough of Estill County; one son, Brian Keith Burrough (Lauren) of Tennessee; one sister, Lajo Hand of Mississippi; one brother, Buster L. Hunt (Donna) of Arkansas; and two grandchildren, Everett Cameron Burrough and Briggs Burrough.
    In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Hunt.

Daniel Lynn Neikirk

    Daniel Lynn Neikirk, age 81, of Old Fox Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a long illness.
    He was born January 5, 1942, in Estill County and was the son of the late Louis Byron and Elizabeth Greene Neikirk. He retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot where he worked as a Supply Clerk. He was a member of the Bethel Christian Church, the Kentucky Colonels, and the 4H Council. He was also a former Kiwanis Baseball Coach. Daniel was a United States Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam Conflict, and was a Government Employee during the Gulf War. He had lived in Estill County for most of his life.
    Mr. Neikirk is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Curtis Neikirk; three sons, Jason Neikirk (Shaylyn), Curtis Neikirk (Ella), both of Madison County; and Sam Neikirk (Stephanie) of Estill County; nine grandchildren: Paisley Neikirk, Cody Warford (Sierra), Austin Warford (Lexie), Sierra Damrell (Zach), Ridge Wilkinson (Haley), Luke Wilkinson (Makenzie), Haley Sha Counterman (Justin), Dakota Stamper, and D.J. Yingst; seven great grandchildren: Theo, Emmett, Mya, Maddox, Barrett, Spencer, and Alayna; five sisters-in-law: Hellen Neikirk, Loretta Neikirk, Ruth Neikirk, Reva Curtis, and Sue Curtis; and one brother-in-law, Farrell Curtis.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Warren and Mildred Tuttle; and nine brothers, Fred, James, Donald, Boyd, Marshall, Ralph, Bill, Ray, and Louis Neikirk Jr.
    Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 30, 2023, 1 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Curtis officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 6-9 p.m.

    Survivors include one son, Tommy Smyth (Andrea Shaffer); one daughter, Bobbi Caudill; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James Vernon Gross

    James Vernon Gross, age 79, of Broadway in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.
    He was born December 22, 1943, in Estill County and was the son of the late Lemon and Nannie Scott Gross. He was a United States Air Force veteran and a retired Sylvania employee. He was a member of the White Oak Church of God and had lived in Estill County all his life.
    Mr. Gross is survived by his wife, Donna Sue Fike Gross; two sons, James Vernon Gross II of Estill County; and Gregory Lynn Gross (Jennifer) of Madison County; two sisters, Anna Ruth Robinson of Virginia, and Dorothy Centers of Powell County; and one grandchild, Marley Addison Gross (Brandon).
    Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 29, 2023, 2 p.m., at the White Oak Church of God with Bro. Glyndon Woosley officiating. Burial was at the Cane Springs Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday, October 28th from 6-9 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 1:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Church.

    James David Mays, age 54, son of Bob and Eunice Mays, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
    He was born March 17, 1969 in Montgomery County son of Bob and Eunice Mays.
    He is survived by parents, Bob and Eunice Mays; a son, Tyler Mays; a brother. Mike Lockard (Dixie); three sisters, Wanda Justice (George), Kathy Burton (Marty), and Christy Williams; a sister-in-law, Sharon Lockard; and a grandson Travis Mays.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Spencer Williams, and a brother, Gregory Wayne Lockard.
    Services will be held at Wells Funeral Home, Stanton, Monday, October 30, 2023 at 1 p.m. with Bro. James Combs officiating. Visitation will he held Sunday, October 29th from 6-8 p.m. He will be buried in the West Bend Cemetery.

    Linda Carol Spradling, age 70, of Irvine, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Marcum-Wallace Hospital in Irvine.
    Born on June 21, 1953, in Dayton, Ohio, Linda was the daughter of the late Glen H. and Eda Mae Gillespie Winkler.
    She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Glen E. Spradling Jr.; three sons, Chad Spradling, Kyle Spradling, and Eddie Ryan Spradling (Courtney); three brothers, Gary Glen Winkler (Cindy), Michael Winkler, and Wendell Winkler; five grandchildren, Myles, Riley, Nick, Sarah, and Samantha; and two great grandchildren, Chloe and Zoey; along with numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
    Funeral services for Linda Carol Spradling were conducted graveside on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Newton Cemetery with Brother Scott Beauchamp officiating.

James Earl Spry

    James Earl Spry, a devoted husband and caring father, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the age of 73. The son of the late Earl C. and Opal Watson Spry, he was born on January 9, 1950, in Clark County.
    He served as a deacon at the Log Lick Christian Church, where he was a member for many years. He worked 45 years as an electrician for IBEW, Local Unions 183 & 369.
    James is preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Stephens; and his granddaughter, Jenny Stephens.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Betty Hall Spry; a daughter, Lori Farris (Randy); a son, Jason Spry (Jami), and his son-in-law, Brian Stephens. Jim was also a beloved grandfather to Brad Stephens (Stephanie), Brent Stephens (Madi), Bryce Stephens (Brianna), Haylee Farris, Allison Farris, Daniel Farris, Jacob Spry, Lucas Spry, and Hannah Spry. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary Spry and Chuck Spry (Teresa), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
    Visitation was held on Friday, October 27, 2023, 5-7 p.m. at the Leon Pace Memorial Chapel of Scobee Funeral Home. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 28 at the Funeral Home officiated by Evangelist Blake Rush. Following the service, burial was at the Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

George William Helton

    George William Helton, a devoted husband, loving father, and a proud United States Air Force Veteran, departed this world on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the age of 74, at the River’s Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, Kentucky.
    Born on December 8, 1948, in Stanton, Kentucky, George was the beloved son of John Leonard Helton and Claudia Housley Helton.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Stewart; and his nephew, Tony Stewart.
    Survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Ann Whitaker Helton of Cadiz, Kentucky, George leaves behind a legacy of love and family bonds. His memory will be cherished by his daughters, Cynthia Carol Helton and Sarah Ann Helton, both of Cadiz; his brothers-in-law, James Stewart of Nicholasville, and Robert Turley (Debbie) of Winchester; his sister-in-law, Susan Whitaker of Union, Ohio; two nephews, James E. Stewart and Shaun Stewart (Susie), both of Lexington; and two nieces, Janel Turley of Richmond, and Adrienne Leathers (Chris) of Hoschton, Georgia. Additionally, his memory lives on in the hearts of numerous cousins and friends whose lives he touched.
    George's life was marked by dedication and service. He retired from Civil Service at Fort Campbell, a testament to his unwavering commitment to duty. As a farmer, he nurtured the land and cultivated its bounty, leaving a legacy of hard work and dedication. His service to his country as a United States Air Force Veteran reflects his love for the land and sky.
    In this time of sorrow, let us remember the life of George William Helton, a man of honor, resilience, and devotion, who leaves behind a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire us.
    George's life was celebrated at graveside services on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the serene Winchester Cemetery. A military honors burial followed, paying tribute to his service to our nation. Friends and family were invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which was held from 12 Noon to 2 p.m. on the same day at the Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester.

    Frances Willene Riddell, age 98, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital.
    She was born July 5, 1925 in Irvine to William Ed and Mary Powell Farthing. She was retired from Carhartt and was a member of the House of Prayer.
    Mrs. Riddell is survived by a son, Phillip Riddell (Lisa); three daughters, Pam Noe, Debra Roberts (Glenn), and Elizabeth Richardson; 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Bobby Farthing Sr. (Sharon).
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Wallace Riddell; two sons, Eddie Lee and Tony Riddell; and two daughters, Phyllis Riddell and Barbara Warner.

    He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on April 5, 1996 to Christopher Sr. and Cynthia Peters Epperson. He was a Union Carpenter.
    Mr. Epperson is survived by his parents, Chris Sr. and Cindy Epperson; a son, Christopher Epperson III; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Debbie Isaacs and Charles Robert May; and two sisters, Sarah Carroll and Montana Jones.
    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Joyce Peters.

    Bonita Richardson Cain, 85, of Irvine, Kentucky, widow of Paul Cain passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023.
    She was born on August 28, 1938 in Estill County, Kentucky to the late George Hugh Richardson and the late Mary Elizabeth Isaacs Richardson. She was a retired social worker. Mrs. Cain was an avid Bible reader and attended Revival Tabernacle in Richmond.
    She is survived by three sons, Anthony Earl Hackworth of Arkansas, Gregory Stuart Hackworth (Audrey) of Irvine, and Tobey Lynn Ballinger (Melissa) of Richmond; a daughter-in-law, Miranda Hackworth; and six grandchildren, Timothy Hackworth, Aaron Hackworth, Rachael Hackworth, James Hackworth, Katie Ballinger and Devon Hackworth; as well as numerous great grandchildren.
    In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in passing by one son, David Wayne Hackworth; two brothers, Forrest Richardson and Cecil Richardson; two sisters, Cordellia Hamm and Theda White; and two grandchildren, Matthew Hackworth and David Allen Hackworth.

    Robert Dewayne Jenkins, 71, widower of Dorothy Jean Simms Jenkins, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington.
    He was born in Irvine, Kentucky, on March 23, 1952, to the late Stanley Jenkins and Ruth Bingham Jenkins. Robert was a truck driver for many years.
    Mr. Jenkins is survived by his sons, Jeff Jenkins (Betty), Todd Jenkins (Karen), Kenneth Edward Scott (Lisa), and Bruce Scott; and a daughter, Sherry Johnson (Joe); as well as 16 grandchildren and several great and great, great grandchildren.
    He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Calvin Jenkins; a daughter-in-law, Roberta Scott; four brothers; three sisters; and one grandchild.
    Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home, 404 North Main Street, Nicholasville, with Pastor Dan Bishop officiating.     He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Parks; a brother, Ernest Martin; and a sister, Helen Randall.
    Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro Jackie Stamper and Bro. Cecil Burns. Friends may visit Wednesday from 10 a.m. till time of the service. Burial will follow in the West Bend Cemetery.

    Jean Elizabeth “Libby” Chaney, age 63, of Barnes Mountain Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
    She was born October 2, 1960, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and was the daughter of Jimmy Lee and Phyllis Richardson Williams. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She was a member of the Easter Valley Baptist Church and had lived in Estill County most of her life.
    Survivors, in addition to her father and mother, include her husband, David Oakley Chaney; one daughter, Phyllissa Smith (Donnie) of Estill County; one son, David Lee Chaney of Estill County; one sister, Rhonda Keener of Kenton County; three grandchildren, Austin Blake Smith, Brynleigh Smith, and Brycen Smith; one great grandchild, Liam Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 26, 2023, 11 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Chaney and Bro. Kevin Chaney officiating. Burial will be at the Richardson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Barbara Ann Warner, age 78, of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at her residence.
    She was born December 12, 1944 in Irvine, to Willene Farthing Riddell and the late Tracy Riddell. She was a retired factory worker, a member of the House of Prayer in Irvine and a member of the Praise Singers.
    Barbara is survived by her mother, Willene Farthing Riddell; a son, Jerald “Bubby” Miller; three daughters, Bridgette Daniels (Gary), Libby Wiseman (Danny Ray), and Lisa Rawlins (Timmy Joe); 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild; a brother, Phillip Riddell (Lisa); three sisters, Elizabeth Richardson (Billy Joe), Pam Noe (Omer), and Debbie Roberts (Glen); and a sister-in-law, Clementine Riddell.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Tracy Riddell; a daughter, Tracey Elaine Miller; a grandson, Jared Tyler Miller; two brothers, Edward Lee Riddell and Tony Riddell; and a sister, Phyllis Riddell.
    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine with Bro. Jason Lykins and Bro. Gerald Richardson officiating. Friends visited Tuesday from 12 Noon till time of the service. Burial followed in the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Irvine.
    Pallbearers were Ryan Wiseman, Andy Wiseman, Devin Wiseman, Kylie Rawlins, Dylan Miller and Jeremy Miller.
    Honorary pallbearers were the grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great, great grandchild.

    Phillip Campbell, age 50, husband of Tara Dunn Campbell, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, Kentucky.
    He was born August 18, 1973 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Charles Campbell and Sylvia Ann Thompson Campbell Richardson.
    Survivors include his wife, Tara Campbell; three sons, Kevin Ray Dunn, PJ Campbell, and Dustin Campbell; a daughter, Sylvia Ann Campbell; two brothers, Charles Campbell (Billie) and Lee Richardson (LeeAnn); a sister, Darlene Soard (David); and two grandsons, Kaidyn Dunn and Colton Campbell.
    Services were held Sunday, October 22, 2023, 2 p.m., at the Wells Funeral Home in Stanton by Pastor Dan Brothers. Visitation was held Saturday, October 21st, 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
    Burial was in Clay City Eaton Cemetery with Kevin Dunn, David Yeary, Garrick Hawkins, Lucas Brashears, Terry Fraley, and Lee Richardson serving as pallbearers.
    Honorary pallbearer serving was Charles Campbell.
    In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to the funeral home to assist with services.

Kenneth Ray Abner

    Kenneth Ray Abner, age 82, husband of Juanita D. Abner, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at his home in Winchester, Kentucky.
    Born in Estill County, Kentucky, on June 4, 1941, he was the son of the late Joseph Oscar Abner and Geneva Woolery Abner. He was a retired service technician from Sears, where he worked for more than 39 years. Kenneth was a charter member of Calvary Christian and Christview Church, and a member of Forest Grove Church.
    In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two daughters, Vickie Faye Moore (David), and Shannon Gail Cooper (Andrew); four grandchildren, Christopher David Moore (Jessica), Steven Matthew Moore (Amie), Jennifer Allison Lavin (Nathan), and Andrew Scott Cooper; three great grandchildren, Ryan Moore, Lincoln Moore, and Autumn Lavin; three brothers, Burton J. Abner, Tracy Gene Abner, and Clyde Abner; and several extended family members and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lloyd Abner.
    Services will held at 12 Noon, Friday, October 20, 2023, at Forest Grove Church by his grandson, Pastor Steven Moore. Burial followed in Winchester Cemetery. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
    Pallbearers were Pete Hardy, Larry Bowling, Chris Moore, Nathan Lavin, Scott Cooper, David Moore, and Andy Cooper.
    Honorary pallbearers were the elders and deacons of Forest Grove Church.

    Randall Glen Anglin, age 44, of Ravenna, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
    Randall was born on April 28, 1979, in Irvine, Kentucky, to the late Frank Charleston and Ollie Berryman Anglin.
    In addition to his father, Randall was preceded in death by two sons, Trey Glen and Jessie James Anglin.
    Survivors include, along with his mother, three sons, Ty Glen, Trenton Isaiah, and Eli Tanner Anglin; one granddaughter, Makennley Rae Anglin; three brothers, James Berryman (Janice), Leon Anglin, and Delmer Anglin; one special niece, Brittany Wiseman (Devin); and one special nephew, Brandon Berryman (Becky), as well as other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.
    Funeral services for Randall Glen Anglin were conducted on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lewis Home for Funerals chapel with Donnie Watson officiating. Interment followed in the Neal Cemetery in Irvine. The family received friends from 12 Noon until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
    Serving as pallbearers were James Berryman, Brandon Berryman, Ty Anglin, Leon Anglin, Ethan Estes, and Delmer Anglin.
    Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Neal, and Trenton and Eli Anglin.

Kevin Wade Tipton

    Kevin Wade Tipton, age 49, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the Oschner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
    He was born September 30, 1974 in Lexington, Kentucky, to Charlie Tipton and Clarissa Ann Wise Tipton. Kevin was a licensed electrician and enjoyed his job for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing pool, poker, sports, music, traveling, and helping others. He also loved spending time with his family and friends and always enjoyed Christmas and July 4th celebrations with all of his family. He lived in Lexington for most of his life and for the past seven years, he resided in Irvine.
    Mr. Tipton is survived by his daughter, Sierra Tipton of Nicholasville; his stepmother, Nancy Rhodes of Irvine; his aunt, Tina Stephens of Berea; and close cousins, Shelia Gross and Todd Gross of Irvine.
    In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert Rice and Elizabeth Tipton; his maternal grandparents, Everett and Helen Embry; and several aunts and uncles.
    There will be no services, following his wishes. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
