Darrell Glendon Fielder

    Darrell Glendon Fielder, age 69, of Whispering Woods in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his home following a short illness.
    He was born on March 30, 1955, in Estill County. He was the son of the late James and Callie Fielder. He was a retired employee of Enersys and a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. He lived in Estill County all his life.
    Mr. Fielder is survived by two daughters, Kaisee Thacker and Samantha Fielder; three sisters, Geraldine “Tina” Crowe, Delores Arthur (Earl), and Diane Willis; one brother, Jim Fielder (Margie); and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who love him very much.
    In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Emma Tipton, Mary Powell, and Elizabeth Crowe; and one brother, J.W. Fielder
    Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 1 p.m., at the Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Bro. Jacob Cabe officiating. Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
    Pallbearers are Anthony Arthur, Jamie Fielder, Brian Crowe, Dylan Arthur, Aidan Baber, and David Moore.
    Honorary pallbearers are Donny Tipton, Robert “Skip” Johnson, Sammy Scott, Mike Mainous, Bradley Wilson, and Robbie Hunter.
    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care Plus.

Dylan Hunter McQueen, Jr.

    Dylan Hunter McQueen, Jr., two-month-old infant son of Dylan Hunter and Mackala Ann Morgan McQueen, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024.
    He was born July 30, 2024, in Madison County, Kentucky.
    Survivors, in addition to his father and mother include his sister, Zala Raine McQueen; his grandparents, Earl & Anita McQueen of Powell County, James & Melissa Morgan of Pike County, Shena Dees of Madison County, and Jacob & Darla Estes of Estill County; great grandparents, Peggy Tallant of Madison County, Francis Epling of Pike County, Johnny Dees of Madison County, and Larry & Wilma York of Lee County; and his great, great grandmother: Patricia Boneta of Madison County.
    Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 14, 2024, 12 Noon at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Coburn officiating. Burial will be at the York Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon.
    Pallbearers are James Tyler Morgan, Robert Morgan, Trinity McIntosh, and Jacob Estes.

Benjamin Barnett

    Benjamin Barnett, age 38, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, from injuries received in an auto accident.
    He was born in Manchester, Kentucky, August 2, 1986, to Zackie and Priscilla Barnett. He was a member of the Winchester Holliness Church of God.
    Mr. Barnett is survived by his parents, Zackie and Priscilla Barnett; his wife, Jennifer Barnett; a sister, Felicia Clemons (Mike); and three special friends who were like brothers, David Wasson, James Sams and Jimmy Glosser.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Johnson.
    Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine with Bro. George Bills officiating. Friends may visit Monday, October 14, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Elbert Sparks Cemetery in Lee County.

Paul J. Richardson

    Paul J. Richardson, age 95, the widower of Bonnie Jean Davis Richardson, passed away Tuesday morning, October 8, 2024, at his home.
    Paul was born on Barnes Mountain in Estill County, Kentucky on February 10, 1929, the son of the late Harlow and Susie Harris Richardson. He was a farmer and a retired mechanic and was the former owner and operator of Paul Richardson & Sons Garage. Paul loved to hunt and fish and raise a garden and he also enjoyed playing music. He was a true servant of the Lord and served faithfully at Victory Tabernacle Church of God.
    Survivors include three sons, Evangelist Troy Richardson (Linda), Pastor Larry Richardson (Eula) and Pastor Geral Richardson (Deborah); one sister, Eula Johnson (Billy); six grandchildren, Troy B. Richardson, Bishop Eric Richardson (Christy), Matthew Richardson (Tiffany), Rodney Richardson (Erika), Marilyn J. Richardson and Paul C. Richardson (Kristin); 15 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 3129 Old Kentucky Hwy 52, Richmond, with Pastor Geral Richardson and Pastor Larry Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery on Renfro Ridge. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday evening at the Church.
    His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Gary D. Combs

    Gary D. Combs, age 77, of Annville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly in London, Kentucky.
    He was born December 31, 1946, in Onedia, Kentucky to the late Palmer and Betty Porter Combs.
    Mr. Combs is survived by his wife, Sharon; and one son, Brian House (Lesley); two grandchildren, Ryan Blake House (Stephanie) and Jordan House (Danielle); as well as two great grandchildren; Jaxon and Tallon House. Gary is also survived by his siblings, Kenneth Combs of Madison County; Jobie Combs, Kevin Combs, Keith Combs, Barry Combs, Karen Harrison and Sharon Onan, all of Irvine; and by a sister-in-law, Judy Combs of Irvine.
    In addition to his parents, Gary was preceeded in death a brother, Barry Combs; and his first wife, Virginia Flynn Combs.
    A memorial service may be held at a later date.

Robert Earl Webb

    Robert Earl Webb, age 53, of Walters Ridge Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at his home.
    He was born February 17, 1971, and was the son of the late Earl Webb and Aelline Crowe Richardson. He had served in the Army National Guard and worked as a Deputy with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. He devoted his life to protecting and serving his community for the last 30+ years.
    Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Amanda Lynn Collins Webb; three sisters, Sharon Hardy (Tom), Tammy Riddell (Jesse), both of Madison County; and Brenda Tipton of Estill County; his father & mother-in-law, Sidney & Linda Collins; his brother-in-law, Wayne Collins (Lori); two children by choice, Taylor Chaney (Daniel) and Gabe Brooks (Morgan); his uncle, James Crowe; several nieces and nephews; his fur babies, Scout, Roxie, Bella, and Benji; and his brothers and sisters in uniform.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Webb; and his uncle, Sam Crowe.
    Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 12, 2024, 11 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Watson and Bro. Brian Brooks officiating. Burial was at the Rose-Freeman Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
    Pallbearers were Brian Brooks, Carl Rifinbark, Burl Purdue, Aaron Matthews, Doug Rose, Stewart Morris, Cory Cornett, and Kevin Wienbrener.
    Honorary pallbearer was Ricky Estes.

Ronald Edgar Willis

    Ronald Edgar Willis, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
    Ronald was born on June 13, 1947 in Estill County and was the son of Edgar and Mary Ester Pearson Willis, both of whom preceded him in death.
    On December 23, 1989 he was united in marriage to Kathy Ledford Willis. He lived most of his life in Madison County and was a longtime tobacco farmer. Ronald loved being outside and enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, deer hunting, fishing, and trapping. He loved the Lord and attended church at Crystal Holiness Church as long as his health allowed.
    Survivors include his wife, Kathy Willis of Waco; two sons, Travis Willis (Chelsea) of Irvine and Kyle Willis of Waco; two grandchildren, Blakeleigh Martin and Rayden Martin; four brothers; three sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
    A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond, with Bro. Robert Miller officiating. Burial followed at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Berea. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers were Travis Willis, Freddie Willis, David Price, Lester Adams, Lloyd Rogers, and Bill Willis.
    Mary Hendrickson, Nina Chasteen, and Jacob Arnold served as honorary bearers.

Gary Wayne Meadows

    Gary Wayne Meadows, 73, husband of Diann Barnett Meadows, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. He was born June 16, 1951, son of the late Roscoe and Marlene Childers Meadows.
    Gary was an avid baseball fan, coaching his sons from t-ball to the minor league. He was a Rockwell International employee from November 1970 to November 1988 and Clark Energy from November 1991 to June 2013.
    Survivors include mother, Marlene Meadows; wife, Diann Meadows; sons, Gary Scott Meadows (Angie) and Cory Wayne Meadows (Whitney); brother, Warren Meadows (Sandy); sisters, Sharon Stamper (Jim) and Sheila Doyle (Frank); grandchildren, Olivia Meadows, Landon Meadows, Samuel Meadows, and Jack Harrison Meadows; and a host of nieces and nephews.
    Burial in the Barnett Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. Private services scheduled.
