Norma Raye Flanery, age 79, of Winchester, Kentucky, formerly of Irvine, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the Compassionate Care Hospice Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
She was born on October 31, 1944, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late William Columbus and Susan Horn Flanery. Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by two brothers, Lindburg and James Flanery, and five sisters, Martha Ellen Frisbee, Betty M. Flanery, Jewell D. Aldridge, Gloria Newman, and Leslie Carol Lee.
Norma is survived by her son, Ronald Flanery (Miranda); four grandchildren, Joshua (Conley), Tybee, Anderson, and Casandra Flanery; and one great grandchild, Oakley Flanery, along with numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Norma Raye Flanery will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brothers Danny Frisbee and Larry Frisbee will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Peters Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Peggy Lou Mansfield, age 72, of Broadway in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, at her home following a long illness.
She was born April 13, 1952, in Madison County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Roy Lowell and Stella Rose Rader Mansfield. She was former employee of the South-East Coal Company and was a member of the Irvine Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life.
Peggy is survived by her companion, Elizabeth Fae Cox of Estill County; two sisters, Carol Park (Charlie) of Estill County and Drucilla Crouch (Larry) of Hopkins County; and one brother, Jay Mansfield (Rebecca) of Estill County.
A private service will be conducted with burial at the Oakdale Cemetery.

Mary Patricia Tipton Watson, age 81, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 after arrival at Baptist Health- Richmond, Kentucky. She was the wife of Howard Watson.
Mary was born on November 5, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, and was the daughter of Berry and Gina Faella Tipton, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a retired office manager/bookkeeper for Sembol Systems.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one daughter, Sheila Powell of Richmond; one grandchild, Robert Steven Powell (Bernice McCoy) of Richmond; three brothers, Buddy Tipton (Trina) of Winchester, Harold Tipton (Berta) of London, and James Anthony Tipton (Diane) of Winchester; three sisters, Linda Means and Nina Marie Stamper, both of Irvine; and Norma Jean Nixon of Winchester; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Joanna Frost, Nell Pearson, and Diane Edwards; and one brother, Michael Berry Tipton.
A visitation will be held from 2–4 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond.

Lenville Hall, age 88, of Brookstown Road in Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond, following a long illness.
He was born February 22, 1936, in Estill County, and was the son of the late Robert Hall and Dee Crawford Townsend. He was a Retired Farmer and a member of the Stoney Run Baptist Church and the Madison County Coon Hunting Club. He lived in Madison County for most of his life.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Moore Hall, and he is survived by three daughters, Linda Brumagen, Debbie Hall, and Janet Lynn Johnson (Garry), all of Madison County; two sons, Timothy Hall (Carolyn) of Madison County and John Hall (Theresa) of Texas; one sister, Magalene Townsend Tipton of Madison County; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Bud Hall and Michael Hall; three sisters, Lillian Hall, Ida Cole Hall, and Janet Townsend Tipton; and one brother, Glenn Hall.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 1 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Betty G. Walters Harris, age 86, of Barnes Mountain Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at her home following a short illness.
She was born January 6, 1938, in Estill County, and was the daughter of the late Steve Walters and Vera Mae Dennis Walters. She retired from Sylvania and was a member of the Bethel Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Charles Harris; and she is survived by one daughter, Sheila Harris Collins (Ricky) of Estill County; one sister, Ruth Woods (Ed) of Clark County; two brothers, Robert Walters (Jenny) and Stevie J. Walters, both of Estill County; one grandchild, Kaylee Collins (Christopher); and one great grandchild, Riley Kate Collins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, J.T. Walters.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 19, 2024, 1 p.m.,, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Davis and Bro. Geral Richardson officiating. Burial was at the Campbell Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Pallbearers were Eddie Wayne Walters, Cameron Walters, Billy Eugene Walters, Buck Walters, Dustin Moore, and Jeffrey Walters.

Roy Smith was born November 23, 1946 in Clay County, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday October 17, 2024 being 77 years of age. He is the son of the late Raymond and Grace Smith.
He is survived by his siblings, Lester Smith of Annville, Christine Williams (Tommy) of London and Mary McKinney (Luther) of Irvine.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by the following siblings, Mark, Johnny, Paul, Russell, Jimmy and June Smith, Mossie McKinney and Joyce Pierson.
Funeral Services for Mr. Roy Smith will be held on Monday October 21, 2024 at 1 p.m. with Bro. Keith Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery. A visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee.
Pallbearer will be Tommy Williams.

Jane Elizabeth Whipple, age 72, of Reges Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at her home following a long illness.
She was born June 26, 1952, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, a daughter of the late Charles Edgar and Angelina Eva Louisa West. She was a nurse’s aide with the Winchester Health and Rehabilitation Center and had lived in Estill County for the last five years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Anthony Whipple.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Lynn Brandenburg (Jeremy) of Estill County; two sons, Andrew Anthony Eamiello, III of Estill County and Charles William Eamiello (Teresa) of Indiana; two sisters, Charlene Jones of Connecticut and Kathlene Alfredo of Clark County; and six grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Grace Ester Perdew and Peter William West.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date.

Patricia Meacacke 59 of Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
She was born September 16, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio to George and Geraldine Ross. She was a homemaker.
Patricia is survived by her partner, Jeff Gross; her mother Geraldine Ross; two daughters, Heather Ross and Candice Donahue; a son, Christopher Renna; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Jeffery Stutz; and a sister, Melissa Stutz.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Ross.
No services are planned at this time.

Randy G. Estes, 79

Randy G. Estes, age 79, of Laura, Ohio, departed this life suddenly on Thursday, October 10, 2024, in Estill County, Kentucky.
Randy was born on February 2, 1945, in Leighton, Kentucky to the late Travis Estes and Ta-Litha Proffit Estes.
Mr. Estes was a Millwright by trade, having worked for G.M. for 30 years. He was a member of several unions. Randy was a brilliant man with an inventive mind. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones and friends.
In addition to his parents. Mr. Estes is preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Lee and Bruce Allen Estes; and one sister, Gladys Gregg.
Survivors include one daughter, Tiffany Dawn Grimes; three sisters, S. Kay Wells, Vida Anna Maxwell (Don), and Charlotte Dube’ (Paul); and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to miss him and mourn his passing.
A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later date.

Darrell Glendon Fielder, age 69, of Whispering Woods in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his home following a short illness.
He was born on March 30, 1955, in Estill County. He was the son of the late James and Callie Fielder. He was a retired employee of Enersys and a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. He lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Fielder is survived by two daughters, Kaisee Thacker and Samantha Fielder; three sisters, Geraldine “Tina” Crowe, Delores Arthur (Earl), and Diane Willis; one brother, Jim Fielder (Margie); and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who love him very much.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Emma Tipton, Mary Powell, and Elizabeth Crowe; and one brother, J.W. Fielder
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 15, 2024, 1 p.m., at the Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Bro. Jacob Cabe officiating. Burial will be at the Cobb Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
Pallbearers are Anthony Arthur, Jamie Fielder, Brian Crowe, Dylan Arthur, Aidan Baber, and David Moore.

Dylan Hunter McQueen, Jr., two-month-old infant son of Dylan Hunter and Mackala Ann Morgan McQueen, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024.
He was born July 30, 2024, in Madison County, Kentucky.
Survivors, in addition to his father and mother include his sister, Zala Raine McQueen; his grandparents, Earl & Anita McQueen of Powell County, James & Melissa Morgan of Pike County, Shena Dees of Madison County, and Jacob & Darla Estes of Estill County;
great grandparents, Peggy Tallant of Madison County, Francis Epling of Pike County, Johnny Dees of Madison County, and Larry & Wilma York of Lee County; and his great, great grandmother: Patricia Boneta of Madison County.

Benjamin Barnett, age 38, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, from injuries received in an auto accident.
He was born in Manchester, Kentucky, August 2, 1986, to Zackie and Priscilla Barnett. He was a member of the Winchester Holliness Church of God.
Mr. Barnett is survived by his parents, Zackie and Priscilla Barnett; his wife, Jennifer Barnett; a sister, Felicia Clemons (Mike); and three special friends who were like brothers, David Wasson, James Sams and Jimmy Glosser.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Irvine with Bro. George Bills officiating. Friends may visit Monday, October 14, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Elbert Sparks Cemetery in Lee County.

Paul J. Richardson, age 95, the widower of Bonnie Jean Davis Richardson, passed away Tuesday morning, October 8, 2024, at his home.
Paul was born on Barnes Mountain in Estill County, Kentucky on February 10, 1929, the son of the late Harlow and Susie Harris Richardson. He was a farmer and a retired mechanic and was the former owner and operator of Paul Richardson & Sons Garage. Paul loved to hunt and fish and raise a garden and he also enjoyed playing music. He was a true servant of the Lord and served faithfully at Victory Tabernacle Church of God.
Survivors include three sons, Evangelist Troy Richardson (Linda), Pastor Larry Richardson (Eula) and Pastor Geral Richardson (Deborah); one sister, Eula Johnson (Billy); six grandchildren, Troy B. Richardson, Bishop Eric Richardson (Christy), Matthew Richardson (Tiffany), Rodney Richardson (Erika), Marilyn J. Richardson and Paul C. Richardson (Kristin); 15 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Victory Tabernacle Church of God, 3129 Old Kentucky Hwy 52, Richmond, with Pastor Geral Richardson and Pastor Larry Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Richardson Family Cemetery on Renfro Ridge. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday evening at the Church.
His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Gary D. Combs, age 77, of Annville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly in London, Kentucky.
He was born December 31, 1946, in Onedia, Kentucky to the late Palmer and Betty Porter Combs.
Mr. Combs is survived by his wife, Sharon; and one son, Brian House (Lesley); two grandchildren, Ryan Blake House (Stephanie) and Jordan House (Danielle); as well as two great grandchildren; Jaxon and Tallon House. Gary is also survived by his siblings, Kenneth Combs of Madison County; Jobie Combs, Kevin Combs, Keith Combs, Barry Combs, Karen Harrison and Sharon Onan, all of Irvine; and by a sister-in-law, Judy Combs of Irvine.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceeded in death a brother, Barry Combs; and his first wife, Virginia Flynn Combs.

Robert Earl Webb, age 53, of Walters Ridge Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at his home.
He was born February 17, 1971, and was the son of the late Earl Webb and Aelline Crowe Richardson. He had served in the Army National Guard and worked as a Deputy with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. He devoted his life to protecting and serving his community for the last 30+ years.
Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Amanda Lynn Collins Webb; three sisters, Sharon Hardy (Tom), Tammy Riddell (Jesse), both of Madison County; and Brenda Tipton of Estill County; his father & mother-in-law, Sidney & Linda Collins; his brother-in-law, Wayne Collins (Lori); two children by choice, Taylor Chaney (Daniel) and
Gabe Brooks (Morgan); his uncle, James Crowe; several nieces and nephews; his fur babies, Scout, Roxie, Bella, and Benji; and his brothers and sisters in uniform.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Webb; and his uncle, Sam Crowe.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, October 12, 2024, 11 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Watson and Bro. Brian Brooks officiating. Burial was at the Rose-Freeman Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Ronald Edgar Willis, 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
Ronald was born on June 13, 1947 in Estill County and was the son of Edgar and Mary Ester Pearson Willis, both of whom preceded him in death.
On December 23, 1989 he was united in marriage to Kathy Ledford Willis. He lived most of his life in Madison County and was a longtime tobacco farmer. Ronald loved being outside and enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, deer hunting, fishing, and trapping. He loved the Lord and attended church at Crystal Holiness Church as long as his health allowed.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Willis of Waco; two sons, Travis Willis (Chelsea) of Irvine and Kyle Willis of Waco; two grandchildren, Blakeleigh Martin and Rayden Martin; four brothers; three sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home in Richmond, with Bro. Robert Miller officiating. Burial followed at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Berea. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Travis Willis, Freddie Willis, David Price, Lester Adams, Lloyd Rogers, and Bill Willis.
Mary Hendrickson, Nina Chasteen, and Jacob Arnold served as honorary bearers.

Jearldine Knox Esteppe, age 83, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation, Owingsville, Kentucky.
She was born June 26, 1941 in Bowen, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Ila Birch Knox. She was a sewing factory worker.
Survivors include one son, Richard Knox; two sisters, Davonna Davis (Rick) and Phyllis Everman (Ronnie); one grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Jeraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ila Knox; and three sisters, Ruby Powell, Irene Vice, and Jean Kincaid.
Services were held Friday, October 18, 2024, 1 p.m., by Bro. Brad Epperson. Visitation was held on Friday from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. Burial was in Crabtree Cemetery with Chad Bush, Brennen Bush, Rick Davis, Steve Everman, Ronnie Everman, and John Powell.

Ronnie Spencer, age 71, of Stanton, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He was born in Campton, Kentucky, November 11, 1952, to Claude and Mary Spencer.
Mr. Spencer is survived by his wife, Eva Spencer; two sons, Robert Spencer and William Spencer; and three sisters, Minnie R. Knox, Charlotte Rogers and Emma Barnes.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Grayson Funeral Home in Clay City. Friends visited Sunday from 12 Noon till time of the service. Burial was in the Wireman Cemetery in Stanton.

Darlene A. Snowden Shoemaker, age 71, wife of Thomas Shoemaker, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 13, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born December 11, 1952 in Clay City, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Modina Snowden.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Thomas Shoemaker; three children, Crystal McClure, Kathy Shoemaker, and Dallas Shoemaker (Annette); grandchildren, Brittany Muncie, Destani Shoemaker Watkins (Christian), Megan Haynes, Dustin Shoemaker, Kendra Knox (Jesse), Bentley and Aubrey Webb, and Raegan and Kaydence Webb; great grandchildren, Taylor Muncie, Brayden Muncie, Ivory Knox, Madison Frazier, Adaira Wallen, and Jaylin Wallen; sisters, Robin Baker (Randy), Betty Harrison (Steven), Gail Sizemore (James), Jackie Tyra (Ricky), Janet Ringle (Tom), Judy Rogers, Carrie Lou Brewer (Garland), and Jennifer Tingle (Dave); and sisters-in-law, Linda Snowden and Glenda Snowden.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Modina Snowden; brothers, Tracy Snowden and Melvin Snowden; two sons, Thomas Shoemaker Jr. and Brandon Kyle Shoemaker; and a granddaughter, Amber Leigh Ledford.
Services were held Wednesday, October 16, 2024, 1 p.m., by Bro. Eric Patrick at the Wells Funeral Home in Stanton. Visitation was held Tuesday, 6-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Burial was in Stonegate Cemetery with Christian Watkins, Jesse Knox, Dustin Shoemaker, and Rodney Webb serving as pallbearers.

Kimberly Mae O’Hair, widow of Linville O'Hair Jr., was born on August 14, 1976, in Madison County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in London, Kentucky, being 48 years of age. She is the daughter of the late Dillis and Evelyn Skinner Isaacs.
Kimberly is survived by her daughters, Emily Amanda Capps (Alex) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Kayland Noblitt (Justin) of Elk City, Oklahoma. Kimberly was blessed with four grandchildren, Ryker Gabbard, Evelyn Capps, Remington VanBuren and Brantley Noblitt. She is also survived by her siblings, Glenn Isaacs of London, Mickey Isaacs and Tammy Isaacs both of McKee.
In addition to her parents, Kimberly was preceded in death by her husband, Linville O’Hair Jr.
Funeral Services for Kimberly were held on Wednesday October 9, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Jason Thomas officiating. Burial followed at the Isaacs Cemetery. A visitation began at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Gary Wayne Meadows, 73, husband of Diann Barnett Meadows, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. He was born June 16, 1951, son of the late Roscoe and Marlene Childers Meadows.
Gary was an avid baseball fan, coaching his sons from t-ball to the minor league. He was a Rockwell International employee from November 1970 to November 1988 and Clark Energy from November 1991 to June 2013.
Survivors include mother, Marlene Meadows; wife, Diann Meadows; sons, Gary Scott Meadows (Angie) and Cory Wayne Meadows (Whitney); brother, Warren Meadows (Sandy); sisters, Sharon Stamper (Jim) and Sheila Doyle (Frank); grandchildren, Olivia Meadows, Landon Meadows, Samuel Meadows, and Jack Harrison Meadows; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Burial in the Barnett Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. Private services scheduled.
