Vadis Marie Abney, age 88, of Kirkland Avenue in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Marcum and Wallace Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born November 21, 1936, in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late Frank and Geneva Isaacs Durham. She was a Homemaker and attended the Turning Point Apostolic Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life.
Mrs. Abney was preceded in death by her husband, Ova “Toad” Abney; and she is survived by one son, Donnie Thacker of Madison County; one step-son, Ova Abney Jr. of Estill County; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Waveline Gabbard and Tina Henry; one son, Jimmy Thacker; four step-sons, Ricky Abney, Bobby Abney, Bill Abney, and Scotty Abney; three sisters, Ruby Powell, Glanna Pearson, and Lucille Durham; and one brother, Bennie Durham.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 4, 2024, 11 a.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Crowe Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m.
Mabellene Dawes Riddell, 70

Mabellene Dawes Riddell, age 70, of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, peacefully at her home.
Born on May 17, 1954, in Irvine, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mattie Belle Stepp Dawes.
In addition to her parents, Mabellene is preceded in death by four brothers, Tommy, Ernest, Orville and Albert Dawes; one sister, Linda Sue Dawes; and a grandson, Jaxon Thacker.
Mrs. Riddell was a member of the Free Pentecostal Holiness Church. She retired from Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after over 30 years of service.
Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Michael L. Riddell; three children, Jamie Lynn Riddell (Kim), Diana Ruth Jones (Dillard), and Christina Belle Tipton (David); six grandchildren, Timiria Jones, T.J. Daniels, McKenzie Riddell, Candix Johnson (Wesley), LaDonna Hardy (Ricky), and Veronica Tipton (John); eight great grandchildren, Jace, Alexis, and Madeline Thacker; Mason, Calyah, Kayleh and Hannah Johnson; and Caleb Hardy; one brother, Billy Dawes (Barb); two sisters, Ruth Rose and Irene Willoughby (Greene); along with numerous nieces and nephews and relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Mabellene Riddell will be conducted on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Jerry Rose will be officiating. Interment will follow in Jamie Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Pearl Raymond “Jabe” Tipton, age 86, of Tipton Ridge in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at his home following a short illness.
He was born April 16, 1938, in Estill County and was the son of the late Bernie and Mary Emma Tipton. He retired from Smyth Lumber where he worked as a Truck Driver. He had lived in Estill County for all his life.
Mr. Tipton is survived by one daughter, Vonda Jones (Doug) of Laurel County; two sisters, Amanda Witt (Tommy) and Julie Spicer, both of Estill County; four grandchildren, Amberlee Root (Aaron), Tiffany Helton (Josh), Kelly Barnes (Travis), and April Lynn Tipton; 14 great grandchildren, Kobe, Trenton, Madelyn, Avery, Kiya, Shalana, Leeland, Skyleanne, Dakira, Matthew, Jaylynn, Aliza, Frankie, and Gavin; and 11 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Peggy Sue Tipton, 2 sons, John Randall and Darrell Raymond Tipton, 1 sister, Estine Tipton, 2 brothers, Eugene and Samuel Tipton, and 1 grandchild, Joshua Profitt.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 2, 2024, 1 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Aaron Root officiating. Burial will be at the Tipton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Pallbearers are Greg Moore, Josh Helton, Kobe Root, Trenton Root, Leeland Helton, and Donovan Satterfield.

Doretta Sexton, age 94, of Brookville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sexton; parents, Clarence and Allie Horn; and a sister, Katie Owens.
Doretta was known around town as “Grandma Hardware.”
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Sexton (Kim); grandchildren, Skipper (Jennifer), Justin, and Shane (Brooke); great grandchildren, Wyatt, Savannah, Allee, Eric, Hailee, and Ethan; a great, great grandchild, Dixie; a brother, Walter Horn (Nora); numerous nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Ivan Puckett.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Hospice of Dayton nurses and aides for their help through this difficult time.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 3rd at Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, 950 Albert Road, Brookville, Ohio. Funeral services to follow at 12 Noon, Tuesday. Interment services will be held at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.

Hoyt Smyth Baber, age 92, of Pine Street in Ravenna, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at her daughter’s home following a short illness.
She was born May 5, 1932, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Troy and Nellie Marcum Smyth. She retired from Westinghouse and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church and the Estill County Historical Society. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life.
Mrs. Baber was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Baber; and she is survived by her daughter, Pauletta Dawn Arvin (Bo) of Estill County; two brothers, Elwood Smyth of Rome, Georgia; and Larry Dale Smyth of Estill County; two grandchildren, Shanna Kiner and Cretia Mainous (Brent), both of Estill County; one step-grandchild, Ashley Riddell (Phillip) of Estill County; four great grandchildren, Dylan Kiner, Kylee Kiner, Brody Mainous, and Kalia Mainous; and three step-great grandchildren, Kennedy Riddell, Cade Riddell, and Cole Riddell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Bertie Henderson; and one brother, Lloyd Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 30, 2024, 1 p.m., at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Pearson officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

William Alexander David Mayes, newborn son of William and Elizabeth Mayes, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky.
He is survived by his parents, William and Elizabeth Mayes; his grandparents, William "Leo" and Tracy Mayes; and Sarah Sallaz.
He was preceded by his grandfather, Michael Sallaz.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., at the Sallaz family Cemetery.

Lloyd Herbert Wells, age 77, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024.
He was born August 18, 1947 to the late Buford H. Wells and Della Mae Reed Wells in Winchester. He was a retired Firefighter/EMT with Winchester Fire Dept, lifelong farmer and member of Right Angle Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Wells is survived by his children, Christina Lynn Wells Martin, Anthony Lloyd Wells, and Robert Stull (Angie); grandchildren, Joetta Scott (Logan), Richard Austin Martin, Wyatt Colton Wells, Jackson Levi Wells, Liam Brody Wells. Anthony Lloyd Wells, II (Madison), Jesse Ray Stull (Paige), and Dakota Wells (Jaden); five great grandchildren; a sister, Garnetta Parker; and several nieces and nephews. Also, his second family, the Eickers Amish Community.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Andrew Edward Stull; tree brothers Heardin Wells, Earl Wells and Melvin Wells; a sister, Dorothy Wells Smith; and the mother of his children, Joyce Ann Brock Stewart.
His love and passion was farming, carrying on in his father's footsteps and passing it on to future generations was his dream. He was a devoted father and loving grandfather to all near and far.
Mr. Wells' service was held Friday, November 29, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Williams presiding. Visitation was held from 12 Noon until the hour of service,
Pallbearers were Richard Austin Martin, Richard R. Martin, Jr., Anthony Lloyd Wells II, Bill Jones, Jason Spivery and Scottie Satterwhite.
Honorary pallbearers were Logan Scott, Marcus Molands and Jesse Ray Stull.
Burial was in Log Lick Cemetery.

Paul Allen Whitley, 77, of Irvine, Kentucky, formerly of Cynthiana, husband of Janet Cox Whitley, passed away, Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Born November 2, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Ralph and Helen Whitley, he retired from AT&T after 45 years of service.
Also surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Whitley (Bruce Ritchie) and Kaitlyn Whitley; five stepchildren, Jennifer Poynter (Stephen), Linda Yarbough (Zac), Tyler Burchfield (Audrey), Mayra Rawlings and Tre Burchfield; a brother, Harold Whitley; and six grandchildren, Becca Coldiron (Dylan), Faith Ayala (Devon); and Bryler, Karmen, Hosea and Kayson Burchfield, along with two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Stanfield and Waylon Coldiron.
Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Michelle Whitley; and a brother, Carl Whitley.
Services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home in Cynthiana, by Rev. Kevin Strausbaugh with burial following in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Casketbearers were Bryler Burchfield, Tyler Burchfield, Dylan Coldiron, Stephen Lawson, Bruce Ritchie and Zach Roland.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

Barbara Sue Tipton, age 70, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Irvine, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, November 18, 2024, at her home.
She was born on April 17, 1954, in Irvine, Kentucky to the late Neal and Christine Griggs Tipton.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Streiff; and one sister, Teresa Woolery.
Survivors include one son, Bryan Tipton; and a daughter, Brittney Tipton; five grandchildren, Samantha Maxam, Racine Geddes, Austin Adams, Anna Adams, and Mahayla Mae Tipton; and two brothers, Steve Tipton and Jeff Tipton; aong with numerous other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Barbara Sue Tipton will be conducted on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Marvin Neal will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Gray Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 2 hours prior to the service, from 12 Noon until 2 p.m.

Donald Edward Eddie Thomas, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Baptist Health in Richmond, Kentucky. He was born on August 7, 1965, in Berea, Kentucky, to Donald and Judy Gay Thomas.
Eddie truly enjoyed life and accomplished many things. He was an avid fisherman and a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also loved riding motorcycles and played varsity football for four years. Additionally, he was a certified welder for the railroad and served in the United States Marine Corps, where he played in the eight-man Marine Corps Football League. Eddie was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by five children, Lindsay Ryan Stanton (Joseph) of Seminole, Florida, Donald Raymond Thomas of Lakeland, Florida, Leatisha Gay Hoermann (Sean) of Rolla, Missouri, Aaron Curtis (Donna) and Ashley Baker, both of Berea; one brother, Bryan Dale Thomas and sister-in-law Holly Allen Thomas of Irvine; special nieces and nephews, Jon Thomas (Johnna), Sarah Milligan (Daniel), and Kelley Thomas (Josh); 13 grandchildren, and four great nieces and nephews. Many well-loved extended family members also survive.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Tracy Renee Huth Thomas.
Memorial services will be at 12 Noon, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Galilee Baptist Church, 33 Mason Lake Road, Berea. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 12 Noon, Wednesday at the church.

Archie Lee Angel, age 67, of Big Spring School Road in Irvine, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, following a long illness.
He was born August 8, 1957, in Lee County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Arthur and Bertha Horn Angel. He was a Carpenter, and he had lived in Estill County all his life.
Mr. Angel is survived by two daughters, Showna Angel (Dustin) and Michille Riddell (Scott), both of Estill County; one son, Joshua Angel (Kim) of Estill County; two sisters, Dora Angel Newton and Loretta Kelley (Bill), both of Estill County; six grandchildren, Timothy Conner Purdue, Taylor BreAnn Sutton, Taygen Gwen Perdue, Kyler Scott Riddell, Rilynn Gayle Angel, and Bastian Scot Bishop; six nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and nephews, and nine great ,great nieces and nephews; Honorary Brothers, Ronnie Webb, Jerry Conrad, Albert Newton, Robert Ruffner, and Kenny Brake; and Honorary Sister, Lisa Potter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sonya Gail Angel-Sutton; one son, Jonathon David Angel; two sisters, Emma Angel-McIntire and Betty Anne Angel; and one brother, Arthur Jr. Angel.

She was born February 3, 1934, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Maynard and Leetha Tuttle Huddleston. She was a homemaker and attended the Irvine First Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County most of her life.
Mrs. McIntosh is survived by three daughters, Penny Osbourne (Randall), Sandra Morgan (John), and Kim Noland (Tim); seven grandchildren, Tracy Brandenburg (Jason), Carrie Treadway (Phillip), Chad Howell, Mindi Jones (Josh), Tyler Morgan (Sarah), Morgen Garner (Hunter), and Christian Noland (Makayla); eleven great grandchildren, Dylan Baily, Colten Chaney, Kaley Treadway, Jesse Lunsford (Lincoln), Conner Chaney, Ryan Howell, Kyler Chaney, Josie Brandenburg, Tripp Morgan, Belle Howell, and Willa Morgan; and four half-siblings, David L. Huddleston, Royce D. Huddleston, Luretha Huddleston Hughes, and Mary Ann Huddleston Kennedy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Will McIntosh; six siblings, Arthur Elam Huddleston, Benny Maynard Huddleston, Alice Carrine Estes, Douglas Huddleston, Delores Ashcraft, and Mary Louise Arnold; and one half-sibling, Maynard Brance Huddleston.

Chester Clifton Leon Bailey, age 56, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, on September 13, 1968, to James A. Bailey and Sandra Marcum Bailey.
Chester loved his family and found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren, creating cherished memories that they would carry with them for a lifetime.
As a skilled construction contractor, he took pride in his work, transforming ideas into tangible structures. When Chester wasn’t on the job, he loved embracing the great outdoors, whether it was hunting in the crisp morning air, fishing by the serene lakeside, or adventuring through rugged trails on his four-wheeler. With a contagious sense of humor, he had a gift for making people laugh. Chester was known for his clever jokes and lighthearted banter, filling every gathering with warmth and joy. His sharp wit and playful spirit brought smiles to the faces of those around him, making every moment spent together truly special.
Chester is preceded in death by one grandchild, Jacelynn Martin.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Ilse Marcum of Clay City; three sons, James Michael “Jamie” Bailey, Matthew Hunter Bailey (Krissy Parido), and Brian Whisman (Henryetta), all of Clay City; two daughters, Megan Rochelle Rice (Jake), and Kaitlyn McKenzie Bailey (Jaylan Martin), both of Clay City; nine grandchildren, Mason James Bailey (Taylor McKenzie Muncie), Emma Shay Bailey, Keylee Renee Lewis, Laila Marie Rice, Luke Douglas Rice, Jakobe Lee Martin, Cohen Wilder Martin, Carter Whisman, and Braylen Whisman; and one great grandchild, Lakelynn Rain Bailey.

Margaret Ann “Maggie” Knox, age 67, wife of Gary Knox, passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born in West Liberty, Kentucky, on September 13, 1957, to the late Frank Moore and the late Maxine Coldiron Moore.
Maggie was a devoted member of Knowlton Church of God, where she found joy in her faith and the community around her. She cherished every moment spent with her family, particularly her son, with whom she shared a special bond filled with laughter and love. With a warm and engaging personality, Maggie had a natural ability to connect with others, making friends wherever she went. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her frequent walks, where she reveled in the beauty of nature and the tranquility it brought her.
Professionally, Maggie dedicated herself to her roles at OHI America and C.M.S., where she was highly regarded for her exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Moore; and two nephews, Joshua Knox and James Anderson.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Dustin Lee Fraley of Somerset; one stepdaughter, Amanda Ross (Billy) of Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Nellie Anderson (Dwain) of Stanton, Carol Knox (Linville) of Clay City, and Wanda Lacy of Stanton; and three grandchildren, Kobe White, Ava White, and Raiden Ross.

She was born January 19, 1988 in Lexington, to Hubert Patrick and Juanita Chadwick Hauserman.
Survivors include her father, Hubert Patrick; her mother, Juanita Hauserman; one son, Logan Stamper; two daughters, Elizabeth Stamper and Brooklyn Stamper; and a sister, April Nickell (Phillip).
Services will be held Monday, November 25, 2024, 1 p.m., at Wells Funeral Home by Bro. Brad Epperson. Visitation Monday will be on Monday from 12 Non - 1 p.m.

Judith Perry of Campton, Kentucky, widow of the late Glen Perry, departed this life Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the age of 80 years.
She was the daughter of the late Edward Childers and Ruby Brewer Childers, born in Puckett Bend, Breathitt County, Kentucky on October 3, 1944. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Perry is survived by two sons, Mitchell Perry (Reva) and Michael Perry, both of Campton; two daughters, Lou Ann Perry of Gray and Fonda Malicote (Jerry) of Mt. Vernon; 12 grandchildren, Josh Lowe (Becky), Jacob Lowe (Heather), Connor Lowe (Emliee), Catlyn Perry, MaKayla Perry, Regina Profitt, Shelly Profitt, Michael E. Perry, Hunter Perry, Glen B. Perry, Meghan Perry and Cody Malicote; one great grandchild, Abrienne Lowe; two brothers, Burnice Childers (Christine) of Campton, and Richard Childers (Barbara) of Clay City; a host of nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Beacher Jones and Karen Perry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Perry; one grandchild, Clayton Lowe; and her parents, Edward Childers and Ruby Brewer Childers.

Donna Sue Craig, age 70, wife of H.T. Craig, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in her Clay City, Kentucky, home surrounded by her family.
She was born April 29, 1954 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio to the late Clarence and Hazel Baker Brown. Donna was a retiree from Winchester Farms Dairy after working for 30 years and was a member of the Clay City First Church of God for 42 years.
Survivors include her husband, HT Craig; one son, Bobby Craig; three daughters, Chrissy Townsend (Mike), Stacy Willoughby (Paul), and Penny Renee Barnes (Gabe); bonus son, Orville VanCleve; bonus daughter, Debbie Booth (Earl); grandchildren, Joey Ferryman (Megan), Katelyne Patton (Chad), Collin Barnes, Matthew Willoughby, Jayden Willoughby, Lacy Willoughby, Amelia Barnes, Sarah Barnes, and Derek Townsend; great and grandchildren, Jayse Patton, Ryder Patton, Kennedy Charles, Karley Patton, Knox Patton, Kenlee Townsend, and Levi Townsend.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jim Brown; two sisters, Brenda Craig and Linda Reed; and a bonus daughter, Dorothy Watkins.
Services Sunday, November 24, 2024 2 p.m., at Wells Funeral Home, Stanton by Bro. Brad Epperson. Visitation Saturday, 6-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Burial in the Brown-Craig Cemetery with Joey Ferryman, Collin Barnes, Matthew Willoughby, Jayden Willoughby, Paul Willoughby, and Gabe Barnes serving at pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers serving are Bobby Craig, Mike Townsend, Chad Patton, Jimmy Brown, Josh Brown, Earl Booth, Raymond and Cindy Goodwin.

Lonnie Rogers, age 69, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
He was born in Estill County, to Alpheus Rogers and Eldena Martin. He was retired from Leggett & Platt.
Mr. Rogers is survived one son, Shawn Rogers; two daughters, Stacy Martin (Doug) and Amy Ferguson (Jared); three sisters, Judy Lovely, Imogene Shepard, and Geneva Townsend; ten grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Gail Rogers; one son, Brandon Rogers; one brother, Geral Rogers; and one sister, Silvia Mullins.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Grayson Funeral Home In Clay City with Bro. Ralph Ferguson officiating. Friends may visit Friday from 11 a.m. till time of the service. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Alanna Leigh Aldridge Carroll, age 55, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky. She was born in Richmond, Kentucky on November 16, 1969.
Alanna was a cherished friend known for her kindness and joy. She dedicated herself to the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and served as the advertising manager for the Clay City Times. An avid reader, Alanna had a passion for exploring new ideas, and she loved cooking as a way to express her affection for others. Her warm smile, integrity, and infectious sense of humor made her a joy to be around. Alanna s legacy of loyalty, kindness, and a strong work ethic will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her. She was a genuinely loving person whose impact will be felt for years to come.
Alanna is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Cole Aldridge.
She is survived by her mother, Rita Shepherd Tolson (Jack); her husband, Paul David Carroll of Stanton; one son, Cody Alann Aldridge of Lexington; three step-children, David Carroll, Garry Carroll, and Lindsay Carroll, all of Ireland; one brother, Scott Aldridge of Richmond; one niece, Ayla Aldridge Normond (Michael); one nephew, Caleb Aldridge; and three great nieces, Amadee, Grace and Mahel Rose.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home immediately following visitation at 7 p.m.
Timothy Glenn Jones, 63

Timothy Glenn Jones, age 63, husband of Annetta Cookie Tipton Jones, of Clay City, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024.
He was born in Irvine, Kentucky, on August 29, 1961, to the late Tilmon Jones and the late Betty Jean Rogers Jones.
Tim retired as an Industrial Electrician and was a caretaker of the Salem Cemetery. He was a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church in Clay City and enjoyed camping, going on road trips, mostly to Tennessee, and mowing grass.
In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his son, Joshua Glenn Jones; and one brother, Phillip Jones.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Misty Gail Bryant (Barry) of Nicholasville and Crystal Jones of Clay City; three brothers, Michael Lynn Jones, Steven Jones (Cathy), both of Clay City, and Terry Joe Jones (Kathy) of Trapp; one sister, Kimberly Crabtree (Lonnie) of Stanton; and three grandchildren, Elijah Bryant, Whitley Pierce and Willow Conley.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Sammy Faulkner will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Burial will be at Mountain Springs Cemetery in Cobhill.

Nancy Neace Bowling, 78 of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024.
She was born February 1, 1946 in Rowdy, Kentucky, to Greenberry and Melda Neace. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Bowling is survived by two sons, Carl Bowlin Jr. James Bowling; two daughters, Wanda Bowling and Dora Purvis; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Neace and Floyd Neace; and a sister, Genva Ware.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Greenberry and Melda Neace; her husband, Carl Bowling; a grandson, Derrick Bowling; three brothers, Roscoe, Gurney and Garney Neace; and two sisters, Dora Richardson and Vicky Bush.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Grayson Funeral Home Chapel in Clay City with Bro. Paul Day officiating. Friends visited Wednesday from 9 a.m. till time of the service. Burial followed in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
